Primrose were just as excited as her friends to watch the Quidditch practice right after Potions. Dahlia had not stopped teasing her about Stretton until she found it annoying.

"Dahlia, it's funny at first. It's getting boring now." Primrose said and Dahlia shrugged, "Okay, sorry."

"Now if anyone could tell me what is Polyjuice." Professor Slughorn said, very much to Primrose's liking.

I know this!

She raised her hand up, fortunately faster than Riddle that's sitting at his usual spot. Riddle glanced at her for a few seconds before he put down his hand, admitting that he's a second too late.

"Miss Quinton."

She answered, "Metamorphosis."

Then she realised everyone was looking at her with a frown, including the teacher himself. She's sure at that time, the term wasn't quite... known yet. Primrose grinned awkwardly, "I mean...it's a potion that allows someone to turn into someone else."

Slughorn nodded in approval, "Good. 5 points for Ravenclaw. But Miss Quinton, what was the word that you used again?"

"Metamorphosis?" She asked back. He nodded, "Yes, that. What is that?"

Oh no.

Primrose just smiled, almost not obvious that she's faking, "It's a term about a process. Basically it is a process of extreme and rapid physical changes."

"Where did you hear that?" He asked out of curiosity.

Ah shit.

"It's what our professor told us... back in Ilvermorny." Primrose said and Slughorn nodded, "It's a rather advanced word. Thank you, Miss Quinton! Metamorphosis..."

Primrose chuckled silently, hearing Slughorn whispered the word, as if he's practicing its pronunciation.

The class finally ended and Primrose saw that Stretton was looking at her from his seat. He nodded his head, signalling her to come with them and she nodded back while making an 'ok' sign with her hand. She noticed that Stretton tilted his head slightly to the right, meaning that he had no idea what the hand sign meant.

Primrose laughed in her head, Uncultured.

She pointed her hand that was still showing 'ok' using her other hand while mouthing an 'okay'.

Stretton nodded in acknowledgement while mouthing an 'oh'.

Primrose tapped on Dahlia shoulder, "Let's go."

Dahlia nodded, "Let's go."

Stretton and the rest of the boys went out first since they're sitting in front, so did Young, Lyra and Calista. Primrose and the Dahlia were the only ones who sat at the very back.

Primrose finally got up from her seat when she and Tom both realised that they got up at the same time and they were facing each other. They made eye contact for solid three seconds before Primrose flashed him a small smile and walked away.

"Come!" Primrose said, not even looking at her cat because she knew that Tofu would always respond to her voice. Tofu then jumped off the table, walking in front of Tom who was watching the cat following its owner.

"Bye Professor!" Primrose said and Slughorn replied, "Bye, Miss Quinton!"

The lads walked to the field together, all excited. The boys started off with a little warm up and they just floated in the air for a few minutes before they started practicing.

The girls were seated at Ravenclaw's seatings. Primrose noticed that Stretton would always look at her way. It was too obvious. Even the girls saw it.

"He can't take his eyes off you." Lyra said, patting Primrose on both her shoulders. She just laughed, "I know. It's too obvious."

Calista leaned in closer to Primrose's ear, although the other girls could hear as well, "He's quite a catch, you know."

"I'm not looking for anything right now." Primrose said.

I have a mission to complete.

Although she had to be honest that Stretton was hot.

As fuck.

And he looked nice too. He's a package. Smart, good looking, soft, and strong.

Primrose smiled at Stretton when he flew towards them, "Are you feeling alright, ladies?"

Soon, Davies and Samuels approached them too, floating in the air. Davies looked up to the sky, "It's a nice weather, innit?"

"It sure is." Young agreed.

Primrose stared at the broom, an idea popped in her head, "Hey I wonder if I could try..."

The boys looked at each other, before Stretton turned his head to Primrose again, "Yes, sure."

Primrose grinned and quickly went down the stairs, to the centre of the field. The boys looked at each other again then shrugged. They went down onto field, waiting for Primrose to come to them.

Stretton handed her his broom, "Can you fly though?"

"I can."

Just not with brooms.

Technically, she can levitate due to her telekinetic power. She taught herself to float and move around, controlling her own body.

"You're wearing a skirt." Page pointed and Primrose nodded, "Yes, but I have leggings inside."

"Okay then." Page shrugged.

Primrose put the broom between her legs and it floated. She looked at Davies with a small smile, "Can I try with the Golden Snitch?"

The boys were genuinely shocked. Davies frowned, "Are you trying for the position?"

Primrose shrugged with a knowing smile, "Maybe?"

Primrose read the instructions and guidelines for Quidditch that night. She also read some of their rules. Davies seemed to be deep in thoughts for a few seconds before he went to get the Golden Snitch from the case.

Davies showed her the snitch with a nod, "But I'm coming with you."

"Alright." Primrose said happily. He then handed the snitch to Page, "Your count."

Page took the snitch and nodded. Davies got onto his broom and floated higher, "Come, Prim!"

Primrose then followed. When they reached high enough, Davies called out, "Prim! You have to get the Golden Snitch. Don't let me get it."

"It's a race!" Primrose said and he nodded with a smile, "It's a race."

He then looked down, making Primrose to look down as well.

Holy shit we're high.

Page threw the Golden Snitch to the air and it flew with its known speed. Davies nodded once to Primrose, "Good luck." Then he sped up to catch the snitch. Primrose went after him, following him close from behind. As they're both following it, the snitch changed its direction and Primrose turned around, making she's the one at the front now.

"Go, Prim!" The girls cheered.

Primrose reached for the Golden Snitch until she realised that Davies was already beside her with a smirk.

Oh don't you smirk yet.

Primrose then held on tight to the broom, ready to nudge Davies hard on his left. Davies was thrown aback with her nudging as he got drifted away just a little bit. He chuckled in amusement, "So that's how it's going to be huh?"

Primrose saw him coming fast and when he thought he got her, she dove. He missed and that made him lost his balance. Primrose rose again and gave him a hard nudge before she went straight for the Golden Snitch.

"Got it!" Primrose yelled.

The girls were jumping and the boys were grinning although their expressions were plastered with a look of disbelief. Primrose landed gracefully and handed Stretton his broom while showing the Golden Snitch to the boys's faces, "I got it."

"We can see that." Inglebee said, still staring at the Golden Snitch in her hand in disbelief.

Everyone turned their heads to Davies who just touched down. He walked towards them, staring at Primrose's face.

Davies was still panting when he spoke up, his eyes never left Primrose, "If anyone has any objection on Primrose being part of the team, say it now."

Silence.

Davies grinned, "Welcome to the team, Prim."

Primrose gave him a big smile.

___

Primrose was already on her bed when she realised that Tofu was no where to be seen. She searched everywhere, including under everybody's beds. She went back to her bed and pulled out Tofu's food container from under her bed. Primrose was freaking out as the food was empty.

She must've been hungry so she went out to find food!

Primrose slapped her own forehead. She had class the whole day on Tuesday so she wasn't able to feed Tofu. She would've brought Tofu to class, only if the classes required them to bring pets.

She checked any windows that were opened and one of them confirmed her theory that her cat indeed, went out of the room.

"I'm going to find Tofu!" Primrose echoed while grabbing her wand and a small pack of cat food. Dahlia replied, "Be careful!"

Primrose walked out of the room, trying to spot any movement.

"Tofu?"

"Tofu???"

Primrose sighed and put her hands around her waist, tired. It had been half an hour of search and her cat was no where to found.

Where are you?

She continued to walk through the hallway that she had not yet went through. She bent down a little bit to look under the table, "Tofu?"

"Who's there and what are you doing?"

Primrose's eyes widened, Shit it must be the prefect.

She got up straight and turned around, "I am looking for my cat."

Holy shit.

Standing in front of her is Tom Riddle. He approached her with a frown, "Quinton."

Chills. That's the first time he called her name and this was the first interaction between them.

Don't be awkward. Don't be awkward.

"Riddle." Primrose greeted back.

"Looking for your cat, you said?" He asked. "I've looked for her everywhere." Primrose nodded while flashing the small packet of cat in her hand food to him. She then continued although her eyes were still wandering around, "I can find her in the morning but the problem is... she has not eaten. She must've been really hungry."

Pure worry plastered on her face.

Her eyes were everywhere before she stared right into Tom Riddle's eyes, "Could you please... help me find her?"

Her index fingers automatically moved and bumped into each other as a sign of pretty please with cherry on top.

Tom was silent and he kept on staring at her. And that lowkey made Primrose uncomfortable.

Okay, creep. That's enough.

Primrose stopped moving her hands and put them to the side. She gave him an apologetic smile, "Nevermind. Sorry."

"Come on." He said and walked ahead first, then she followed.

"Where else did you try to find it?" He asked, not looking at her. Primrose recalled, "Everywhere except this wing."

"Well then, should be around the area then." He said.

"Should be."

Primrose looked up to him and realised he was much taller than her. She felt so small as she only reached his chin. She then asked, "Have you always been in Hogwarts?"

Tom nodded, "Been here since Year 1."

Silence.

Damn this is awkward.

"So you're from Ilvermorny?"

Finally!

But shit, please not that kind of question!

"Yes." Primrose answered shortly.

"How was it there?"

Ah shit, here we go again.

"It was alright. Not that much of a difference." She bullshitted again.

"Then why did you move?"

Primrose shrugged, "I'm just following my family. If the next time they're moving somewhere else, then I have to move too."

"You travel a lot then."

Primrose replied with a single hum. Then there's the silence again.

"You had two choices but why didn't you choose Slytherin?" Tom glanced at her, curious. Primrose just smiled, "Sometimes the choices we make aren't always right."

She acknowledged the silence so she looked up, only to see that he's still staring at her. Primrose just simply gave him her signature sweet smile before turning her head away. She would be lying if she said she didn't notice the change in Tom's expression when she said it.

I really hope you get the message, Riddle.

It had been an hour of search. An hour thirty minutes precisely for Primrose as she had the head start. Primrose glanced at Tom and noticed that he looked sleepy already.

"You can go if you want to. You look tired." She said.

"I can't let you walk alone freely, it's late." He replied. Primrose sighed heavily, "Tofu..."

"What?"

"Tofu. That's her name." She said. Tom frowned, "Tofu... as in the..."

Primrose cut him off while nodding with a small chuckle, "The food, yeah."

A few seconds later, she felt chills and she shivered slightly. Tom glanced down at her, "Aren't you cold... wearing that?"

Primrose looked at him, "Well I'm shivering, am I not?"

Tom shrugged with a small nod. Then she realised that she's wearing a white satin night gown without a jacket. The left strap had fallen over her shoulder so she quickly pulled it up.

Damn loose spaghetti strap.

That's when Primrose saw her, "Tofu?"

In the arms of a familiar teacher.

"Professor McGonagall!" Primrose jogged towards her. The professor turned around and approached her, "Miss Quinton!"

Primrose panted while pointing her index finger to the cat, "We've been looking around for her."

"Oh! My apologies, Miss Quinton. She was in my office the whole day, sleeping. She had eaten too much. I was only thinking to send her to you right after she woke up so here I am." The teacher said, handing her the cat.

"Oh, Tofu..." Primrose whined.

Professor McGonagall tilted her head to side with a small frown, "What was her name again?"

"Tofu."

"Tofu like the..."

Seriously, another one?

"Food. Yes." Primrose nodded and turned her head towards Tom when she heard a small chuckle from him. He seemed to notice her looking at him, so his curled up lips turned flat again.

"I'm sorry again Miss Quinton. I should've sent you a message but I was too busy today. She is definitely an adorable cat. Have a good night, Miss Quinton, Mr Riddle." The teacher said and walked away.

"Good night, professor. Thank you very much." Primrose grinned while Tom just gave her a small nod. She then turned to Tom while a smile, "Thank you for helping me. Good night, Riddle."

Primrose walked away and almost stopped on her track when the voice called out, "Good night, Quinton."

She smirked.

When there's an opportunity, just grab it. Improvise.
