Before Slughorn's lesson ended the other day, he called for Tom, Primrose, and Abraxas to tell them about the Slug Club meeting.

Which Primrose was on her way to. She entered the meeting room, only to find Tom Riddle and a Gryffindor student were already seated at the long desk.

Primrose took a seat beside the Gryffindor, opposite of Tom. That's when Slughorn entered, together with Abraxas.

"Hello everyone, thank you for being able to join this meeting. It would be a short meeting as I want to introduce all of you our new member, Primrose Quinton. I believe you have all seen her the other day during the Quidditch match?" Slughorn grinned.

"So i've seen. In class, and the match." Abraxas said.

"It was an exemplary performance." The Gryffindor smiled. She smiled humbly, "Thank you."

Slughorn looked at the four of them before speaking up, "I believe Tom and Abraxas had known Primrose because they have lessons together. So, Primrose, this is Longbottom."

Longbottom held out his hand for a handshake and Primrose took it, "Prim."

Thankfully, her right hand didn't hurt that much anymore and Longbottom did not shake it violently.

"So, what do you think of Slytherin? In Quidditch, of course." Longbottom asked playfully. Primrose opened her mouth, trying to find the right words since she didn't want to offend any Slytherin there, "Slytherins are... passionate."

"You mean crazy?" Longbottom asked and Primrose shrugged jokingly, "Yeah but I didn't want to sound disrespectful."

Slughorn laughed, together with the rest except for Tom. It's normal for him to have that cold expression 24/7.

"How was Quidditch? Heard that you're new to it." He asked and Primrose just smiled, "Well, I almost lost my head. Twice."

One from the rogue bludger and one from an extreme hair pulling.

Slughorn chuckled, "Well... Mara is tough. No matter how many times we told her to not do things like that, she would still do them. But we've heard from Dumbledore about your idea. We thought it's brilliant and maybe it could really help Mara."

Primrose smiled, "I can tell that she's just upset. But she doesn't have the right coping mechanism to help her manage. Someone like her needs help, not punishment."

Unless...

Everyone fell silent and Primrose looked up to Tom. He raised his eyebrows.

I did it again.

Slughorn leaned closer to the table, "Coping mechanism... Miss Quinton, you always use these advanced words. If I may ask, is there any doctor in your family?"

She grinned, "My father. He's a scientist actually but he was a surgeon so yes, he is a doctor. Now, my father focuses more on research technology—inventions."

She continues, "My mother on the other hand, used to work with a military organisation."

S.H.I.E.L.D

"Are you muggle-born then?" Abraxas asked and it seemed to catch Tom's interest. Primrose shook her head, "No. My mother went to Ilvermorny. She was a Pukwudgie."

"Interesting, Miss Quinton. No wonder you have both brain and strength. Considering she's with the army, I guess her loyalty as a Pukwudgie showed there." Slughorn said in awe. She chuckled, "Thank you, sir."

The teacher then said, "So tell us more about this coping mechanism."

"Coping mechanism is something that we do to alter certain emotion we're feeling. For example, if you're feeling sad, you listen to music because music makes you happy. When you listen to music, you get distracted from the sadness. So music, is the coping mechanism." Primrose explained.

"What could've been Mara's coping mechanism?" Tom asked, emphasising on 'coping mechanism'. Primrose wasn't sure whether he's being sarcastic or not but she answered him kindly anyway, "Since her main issue is anger and she can't seem to control herself from hurting someone, her coping mechanism could've been a punching bag. That way, instead of beating the person straight up, she could at least contain herself for quite sometime before she launch herself onto the punching bag. No one will get hurt but her anger will be fulfilled."

Longbottom nodded, "That is wise."

Slughorn agreed, "Indeed."

He continued, "I would like to thank you, Miss Quinton. For talking to Dumbledore about this. Because of you, Mara would not be expelled. She has potential, honestly."

"I was just trying to help." She said. Slughorn nodded, "I understand. You're a kind person. However Miss Quinton, if Mara repeated that kind of action again even after introducing her to the coping mechanism... I'm afraid she has to go."

"Understandable, sir." Primrose nodded in understanding.

Longbottom nudged her left arm, "If you're so nice then maybe you could teach me the backflip."

Primrose chuckled humorously before her face turned stoic, "No."

"Oh come on! I can try it this Friday!" He whined. Primrose's eyes lit up, "Wait? You're in the team?"

He grinned mischievously, "I'm the captain."

"Mr Longbottom here is an excellent Quidditch player. You'll be meeting him later in the match." Slughorn patted his shoulder.

She nodded, "Ah... excellent huh?"

Longbottom laughed, "We shall see this Friday."

"We shall." She smirked. Slughorn was looking at them in amusement, "I wish all the best to both of you and—may the best team wins."

Slughorn twirled his wand and food showed up on the table, "Bon appetit."

When everyone was picking up the fork and knife, that's when Primrose noticed Tom Riddle's hands—they were both wrapped with napkins. She smiled at the sight.

It was the day when the final was held. The crowd was cheering and they're most excited to see Primrose.

Primrose rode on the broom and levitated. As she slowly reaching up, she heard the crowd cheered louder. Her starting point was still the same, that was near the Slytherin audience.

She smiled as she saw Tom Riddle. She didn't think he would come see it but then maybe, he got dragged by Slughorn again. Next to him was Abraxas and Slughorn himself.

Oh, Bletchley's here too, with the team except for Mara.

"Prim! Prim! Prim"

Primrose grinned and waved to the Hufflepuffs as they cheered her name.

"You're so pretty!" One of the Hufflepuff girls shouted.

Now that, sounds like a fangirl.

Primrose looked down while chuckling, shy. Pink tint started to form on her cheeks.

She looked at her teammates, all showing playful expressions.

"Blushing, Prim?" Abraxas asked playfully. Primrose stared at him with a playful warning stare, "Don't!"

Abraxas and Slughorn laughed and Primrose spotted a small smile on Tom Riddle's face for a split second before his expression turned stoic again.

The match started and Primrose waited patiently for the Golden Snitch to show up.

Come out, come out, wherever you are.

"Gryffindor scored the first goal!"

Holy shit, that's fast.

Longbottom approached her with a playful grin, "Ello Prim. It's a good day to lose innit?"

Primrose rolled her eyes, "Oh come on, you only scored one goal. ONE."

He laughed, "About to make it two." Then he went to the middle of the field. After a few moment, she saw the Gryffindor's Seeker chasing the Golden Snitch. She quickly followed.

Primrose and the Seeker kept on pushing each other and she could feel her right hand throbbing although not too painfully.

She looked behind her, finding available teammates to help her. She shouted, "Inglebee! Stretton!"

Then she held up her hand, showing three fingers. A gesture where the index finger and ring finger sandwiching the middle finger.

They both got the message and quickly came for Primrose. Inglebee reached the Seeker's right, making him panic. He looked to the left to see Primrose smirking at him.

When the Seeker thought that Primrose was going to sandwich him with Inglebee, she descended. The Seeker was confused then he gasped when Stretton ascended on his left, reaching his level.

Inglebee took the chance and pushed him and he was stuck in between Stretton and Inglebee. They slowed down and the Seeker automatically slowed down too. When they realised that the Seeker was far enough from Primrose, they stopped and went to the middle of the field back.

Primrose reached for the Golden Snitch, only inches away from her grasp. Longbottom saw her and abandoned the formation. He went after Primrose.

Davies saw Longbottom coming for Primrose so he called out for Samuels that was close enough to Longbottom, "Samuels!"

Samuels nodded in acknowledgement and he's ready to beat Longbottom. When Longbottom almost pass him, Samuels beat him in the abdomen, forcing him to slow down.

Primrose groaned, "Come on!"

You know what? Fuck it.

Primrose jumped on her broom, standing up straight and grabbed the Golden Snitch. The crowd went crazy and it made her lose concentration for a bit. She lost balance and almost fall on her left.

But Stretton was there, wrapping his arms around her waist, steadying her on the broom.

He smiled, "I got you now."

Primrose sighed in relief before carefully sitting down on the broom again, "Thank you, Stretton."

They went to the middle of the field to descend. Primrose was greeted by Longbottom who was descending together, "Congratulations mate! That was a amazing."

"Thank you, Longbottom. It was a fun game, well done to all of you." She said. Longbottom held out his hand and Primrose shook it.

When they all reached the ground, the players shook hands with each other, congratulating and throwing compliments to one another.

That's how civilised people ends a game.
