Ginny heard someone coming through the door and hastily hid the time turner. She saw Dumbledore walking towards her carrying the Sorting Hat in his hand.

    "Ms Summers, you claim that you read Hogwarts : A History. The you must be aware that all the students in Hogwarts are sorted into four different houses- Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin. As you are new, I am sorting you alone, not in the Great Hall. Will you please wear the Sorting Hat?"

    Ginny came out of the bed and sat on a chair. The hat was put on her head as she prayed silently to be sorted in Gryffindor.

    "Now, what do we see? A new girl, hmm.... you are wise, smart, intelligent.... Ravenclaw maybe? You are also loyal, hardworking, dedicated.... Hufflepuff? I also see a little ambition in you, to prove yourself to others.... you should do well in Slytherin, isn't it? But above all, I see a great noble mind, you can do anything for the people you love. A very brave heart, like a lioness, you have there. Better be.... GRYFFINDOR!"

    Ginny couldn't hide the big smile creeping into her face as the hat shouted the last word aloud.

    Dumbledore smiled as he lifted the Sorting Hat from Ginny's head.

    "So Ms Summers, you are a Gryffindor now. I hope you have your wand?" Ginny nodded. "Your robes and other useful articles are kept by Madam Pomfrey. We assumed that you rest as much as possible, so we decided that you would join the classes after lunch. We would like you to join the lunch after an hour in the Great Hall."

    Dumbledore left.

    After half an hour, Ginny was handed her robes by Madam Pomfrey. She had a shower, put on a jeans and white shirt.... which helped her to hide the time turner. She put on her new Gryffindor robes on it and tied her hair in a pony tail. She heard a sound, turned and to her amazement, she saw a much younger Professor McGonagall entering the Hospital Wing.

    "Ms Summers, I presume?" Professor McGonagall asked. Ginny nodded. I have come here to lead you to the Great Hall. Being new, you wouldn't know the way to the Great Hall."

    Ginny of course knew the way quite well, but anyway, she followed Professor McGonagall.

    After a long walk, they reached the Great Hall. Professor McGonagall handed her a schedule and said, "Well Ms Summers, go and join the rest of the Gryffindors on the table. You will sleep in the Gryffindor common room from tonight. Have a nice day."

    Ginny entered the Great Hall and walked towards the Gryffindor table. She spotted Lily, Marlene and Alice waving at her.

    Relieved to see someone she knew, Ginny went towards them and sat besides Lily, opposite to Marlene and Alice. She wondered what was coming next.
