"MERRY CHRISTMAS!"

Ginny was awoken by the scream in her ear, she sat up and tried readjust her eyes, but she was already dragged out of the bed by an overly enthusiastic Sirius Black.

"Whoa, what?" Ginny rubbed her eyes and glanced towards the Calendar. "It's still a week left to Christmas! What are you talking about?"

"Oh, I am just too excited!" Sirius yelled in her ear.

"I can see that." Ginny said as she put on her dressing gown.

"Come downstairs, me and Prongs have made breakfast."

"Why? Where is mum?" Ginny asked while Sirius led her down the stairs towards the kitchen.

"Mum and Dad are out shopping. We assured them that we can make breakfast ourselves."

"Hope it tastes like breakfast." Ginny muttered. Sirius let out his trademark bark-like laughter, which made Ginny smile. At the table, they found James sitting alone. And surprisingly, he had set up three places for beakfast, complete with a glass of orange juice besides each plate.

"How long does it take to wake up a girl and make her climb down the stairs?" James glared at Sirius.

"Ten minutes, if the girl is Ginny." Sirius replied. Ginny laughed and sat down, along with Sirius.

"Tell me how you like the orange juice. I made it myself!" James smirked.

Ginny picked up the glass and took a small sip, wary of any pranks. She'd put it down immediately if she feels anything. After a sip, suddenly that thought felt stupid. Prank? Why would they prank her? Such an odd thought.

It actually tastes good... she thought as she proceeded to finish the whole glass.

James watched Ginny complete the whole glass in silence. It seemed like a bit of a luck to him that Ginny didn't suspect any prank. It seemed unlikely, but it was true. He glanced at Sirius, who was watching Ginny just as carefully and warily.

Ginny completed the whole glass and and set it down.

"Why are both of you staring at me?" She asked.

"Who is Harry?" Sirius asked impatiently. James could hardly stop himself from slapping Sirius on the head. Atleast let the Potion take it's effect!

Ginny however looked as if nothing was wrong. She smiled at both of them.

"I don't even know why I haven't told you my whole story." Ginny said with a laugh, "I trust you guys alot! Don't tell anyone OK?"

"Eh... No." Sirius reacted.

"We won't." James promised. They both stared at her smiling face.

Looking at her face, James felt extremely guilty. He was taking advantage of her induced trust to know something - which was perhaps too personal for her to share. Suddenly, the amazing idea of Elixr of Trust didn't seem as bright and correct like it did before.

"You don't need to tell us if you don't want to." he found himself saying. Sirius gave him a 'are-you-kidding-me' look. Ginny smiled at him.

"Oh no, I trust you fully." she said. "You see, Harry is your son."

James and Sirius exchanged looks.

"Potion is faulty" Sirius mouthed. Ginny on the other hand, continued to speak, oblivious of this exchange.

"He's actually my boyfriend too. Well, we broke up but not really, he was just being too heroic - as if I need saving." Ginny snorted. "You know he defeated Vol..."

"Ginny" James interrupted. "You need to sleep."

Ginny looked at him as if he was crazy. "Sleep?" she asked, confused. "I just got up."

"But still." Sirius supported him. Then, he leaned towards him and whispered - "Did you put the whole potion?"

"No" he whispered back. "I was..."

"What are you two whispering about?" Ginny asked with an innocent smile.

"We..." James was interrupted by the sound of calling bell.

"I'll get it!" Ginny jumped towards the door, ignoring Sirius and James cursing under their breathes. Bad timing. If mum and dad came in, they'll need a really good explanation about Ginny's behaviour.

James' fears proved to be slightly wrong. Who came in was far more dangerous in this situation than parents.

"Er... Hello." he greeted, "What's up Remus?"

Author's Note

*Awkward Silence*

Right now, I know that all you guys want to do is to throw me in Tartarus. I am really really really sorry for this long gap. It's been over six months, I know. And there isn't probably any one left to read this. I am sincerely sorry to those few people who are still reading. It was my college year, and my life has been really stressful, so much that I couldn't write at all. Plus, I kinda lost inspiration for a while. I won't say I will actively update either. The only thing I want to say is that I have never given up on this story, also I never will. This short update is a reminder of that, also I hope my next update will be really really soon.

To those who have sent me beautiful comments and messages, or even just continued reading, I can't tell you how thankful I am. Please let me know if any of you are still here, even if it's only few of you. Thank you so much for providing inspiration to me, for making me continue writing.

Don't worry, my update will be sooner this time, I know it will be.

Keep reading, to those who haven't given up on this fic yet.

Thank you. :)
