Next morning, Ginny woke up on a slightly moist pillow. Startled by the wetness of her pillow, she sat up, and tried to clear her mind. Yesterday, yes.... James bullied Severus, Severus called Lily a mudblood, Ginny fought with James and Marlene, she missed Harry.... cried herself to sleep.

Ginny opened her curtains. It had been a while since she had cried herself to sleep. Lily, Marlene were no where to be seen. Alice was quietly getting ready.

"They've already gone down." Alice answered her unspoken question. "Hurry up, or we'll miss the breakfast."

Ginny and Alice climbed down the stairs to common room. Remus and James were sitting on the couch. Sirius and Peter had already gone to breakfast as Ginny assumed. It looked like they were having a hushed conversation.

"What should I do?" Ginny heard James asking Remus desperately as they drew closer. The boys hadn't noticed them yet.

"I dunno," Remus replied. "Maybe you should ask Lily to forgive you every two hours like you used to ask her to go out till yesterday."

"Why shouldn't I ask her out today?" Ginny heard James asking in confusion.

"Come on Prongsie, after what you did yesterday, I would be surprised if you don't get hexed to oblivion if you ask her. That is if you have a lucky horoscope."

"Not funny, Moony." James growled.

"As a matter of fact, Lupin is right, Potter." Alice piped up from besides Ginny. The boys turned towards them. James turned into a delicate shade of green on the sight of Ginny.

"Uh, Alice, Frank told me to tell you that he is waiting for you outside the Potrait." Remus said, coming to the rescue. Alice's face lit up. She looked at Ginny questioningly.

"You go on." Ginny said, not eyeing away from James. "I will be there in a jiffy." She didn't need to be told twice. Alice disappeared from the spot as if she had apparated.

Tension was thick in the air. Remus tried to break the stony silence between Ginny by saying, "Uh, shall we go to the breakfast?"

"Ginny, I apologized to Evans." James told her nervously.

"It doesn't count until she forgives you." Ginny replied in a cool voice.

"How should I make her forgive me?" James asked.

"I don't know." Ginny said. "You made a mistake, you face the consequences."

James eyed her as if he couldn't believe her. "You promised me you'll help me winning her heart" he said accusingly.

"And you promised me you'll leave Severus alone." Ginny replied dully. "You broke your promise, but I know, I was supposed to keep mine. I promised you I'll help you to win her heart. How you persuade her to forgive you is none of my concern."

James gave her a disappointed look. He mumbled something under his breathe that sounded like- "You aren't helping either...." Then he left the common room. Remus took up his copy of Advanced Potion Making in his hand and his bag.

"Take your bag." He told Ginny. "The breakfast is almost over, I think. We'll have to run straight to Potions."

With an abnormally hungry stomach, Ginny headed towards Potions with Remus.

"Hey, we brought you some ham sandwitches." Sirius stuck out two sandwitches under the table, avoiding Slughorn's eye, "you two missed breakfast, so we just grabbed some." James was sitting besides Sirius, but he was ignoring Ginny.

"He isn't really mad at you," Sirius told Ginny in low whisper as she and Remus munched the sandwitches, "he is just a bit indignant." James couldn't hear them, he remained stony faced.

Ginny lit the fire under the cauldron as Remus crushed a mistletoe berry in the mortar. They had to work together on 'Elixir of Trust' which was a potion to gain someone's blind trust. Slughorn had promised two vials of Elixir of Trust to the pair producing the best potion on the first attempt.

Peter was paired with Severus. It was difficult to decide whose glance showed more hatred. Lily was with Mary, while Marlene and Alice were sitting in front of them.

"Ginny?" Remus whispered over the cauldron as Ginny tried to slice the porcupine quills perfectly.

"Hm?" She replied absent-mindedly.

"Yesterday, you remember you were shouting at James...."

"Yes, what about that? He was being a git." Ginny said.

"Yeah, a bit." Remus said. The next moment he caught Ginny's look and rectified the sentence- "Yeah, quite a lot!"

James and Sirius were currently having problems to crush the berry, where Sirius was whining about getting a 'dry berry'. Alice and Marlene's work were going steadily. Lily and Mary were slightly ahead of them.

At Peter and Severus's cauldron, Severus was working alone at an unbelievable speed. He had already crushed the berry to squeeze out all the juice possible, sliced the quills, boiled the water and was currently adding dried nettles to the cauldron. Peter was standing besides him, doing nothing except sulking. Apparently Severus had forbidden him to touch anything, and he wasn't fighting Severus without the other Marauders behind him. Ginny almost laughed at his 'punched-in-the-nose' expression.

"Looks like Wormtail had a acid pop." Remus commented. "He looks like a.... dunno...."

"A constipated rat?" Ginny suggested. Remus sniggered.

"Precisely! Couldn't have put it better myself." They stifled their laughs, as to not draw attention from Slughorn.

Ginny returned her gaze towards their own cauldron, where the Lethe river water was boiling merrily, "What did you want to say about the fight?"

Remus looked carefully towards Ginny, and he looked as if he was thinking twice before forming his words. Then carefully, he asked his question.

"Who is Harry?"
