This was the 1st cover of my story. When this story started.

Days passed by. This Saturday was the first Hogsmeade weekend. On Thursday night, Ginny studied late in the library. Despite being in the past, she wanted to keep her marks intact. Struggling with her Potions essay upto midnight, she collected her things to go to her dormitory. Since it was long after the hours, she was careful not to run into Filch or Mrs Norris.

The moonlight flooded into the corridors as Ginny walked. She felt a mild breeze and realised that she was only a corridor away from the Hogwarts grounds. The breeze seemed to attract her towards the open. She almost glided towards the grounds, not afraid of Filch anymore. A unspoken happiness surrounded her as she stepped into the moonlit, prestine looking grounds. She also felt a pang of sadness in her as she remembered the time in her fifth year, when she and Harry would sit there, sneeking out of the dormitory under the invisibilty cloak and talk all kinds of nonsense from Every flavoured beans to Quidditch, from Hermione and Ron's relationship to what would happen in the war and their future. Ginny closed her eyes, reliving those precious moments.

"Ow! That's my head Harry!"

"Sorry Gin. Filch is here. Now keep still!"

Ginny and Harry had sneaked out of the Gryffindor common room under the cloak. Ron had approved of their relationship, though reluctantly. This was their way to celebrate happiness. Do sneak out.

"Hmm.... students in corridors.... hmm? Now lets see who would loose so many points from their houses...." Filch's cold voice drawled out. Harry and Ginny stuck to the wall under the invisibilty cloak, so as not to run into Filch. Filch passed them, alsmost knocking the lantern into them. They held their breath and slipped away into the opposite direction, way from Filch. Soon they were running under the cloak. Stumbling into the moonlit Hogwarts grounds, they sprang the invisibilty cloak off, laughing uncontrolably.

"Geez, that was fun!" Ginny blurted out, laughing.

"Yeah it was!" Harry agreed, grinning.

Ginny fell to the ground, laughing hard. Lying on the cool, moist grass, she looked up into the moonlit night sky. Slowly, Harry also lied down besides her.

"Look at that cloud! It looks like a stag." Ginny pointed up into the night sky. Though the sky was comparitively clear, some detached clouds were floating.... occationally covering the moon.

"Really?" Asked Harry.

"Yeah. It reminds me of you. Your patronus."

"Oh. But to me, it looks like a horse, just like you're patronus."

Ginny tilted her head and looked into Harry's emerald green eyes. The eyes she loved so much. Harry looked back. Green met brown. Ginny smiled and said, "Beautiful, isn't it? The night sky, stars, clouds, the moon, breeze, the nature?"

"Yeah. Just like you. You are so beautiful Ginny." Harry answered. Ginny grinned ear to ear. It was one of those moments when Harry was himself. Carefree.

"Aww.... someone is getting romantic...." Ginny said, sitting up.

"And the other one is ruining the romance...." Harry grinned, sitting up besides her. They looked at each other.

Ginny focused on Harry's eyes. Emerald green.... her favourite colour. She saw love, passion, happiness, care in them. Harry started to lean in, till their faces were centimeters apart. Ginny wasn't sure who exactly closed the distance between them as their lips met, his lips touched hers. It was a slow, passionate but small kiss which meant so much for them. It lasted only a few seconds, but nevertheless, it was amazing. They slowly broke away, afraid to ruin the magic of the moment and leaned against each other, their foreheads touching.

Ginny smiled at the memory. It was one of the last kisses she had shared with Harry before Dumbledore died the day after. Before everything started to go downhill.

It was a night like this. Cool breeze blowing, a full moon adorning the sky....

Full Moon!

Ginny's thoughts were interrupted as her blood ran cold.... he realised something was very different. It was full moon in Marauder's time. She was standing on the Hogwarts grounds, unprotected.

Sirius's words echoed in her mind- 'Nobody realised that on every full moon night, three illegal animagi used to run around the Hogwarts grounds, accompanied by a werewolf.'

Ginny's dread turned into reality as she heard horrible howl.... at a distance.
