A few weeks flew by and Osiris hasn't heard from Skylar after that night. No one has. He texted her again asking if she was okay but she didn't reply so he decided to fallback until she comes around.

He sat at the front desk at the shop drawing in his book finishing up another picture he was going to put up on the wall around the shop. Just when she was getting ready to say something back her phone started ringing getting her attention. "Hey Jen..." she answered. "I haven't heard from her I went to her place but she didn't answer the door" She said over the phone. "Her neighbor...hold on" she continued before standing up and walking outside.

"Yoo June you staying?" Osiris asked his cousin.

"Yeah I have an appointment in thirty minutes"  he answered. "What happen to your client?"

"They had to reschedule" he answered closing up his book.

"Oh what you gonna do then?"

He shrugged his shoulders "I don't know it's been a slow day so far no phone call no walk-in only the ones that made the appointments so far"

"I'm surprised you still here" Monty said sitting on bench that was next to the window.

"I'm about to leave now that ya here" Osiris chuckled standing up heading to the back with his book in his hand. Entering his room he threw his book on the couch and grabbed his keys off the desk.

"Yo ya gonna start paying us-"

"Nigga shut up all ya do is answer the phone and write down appointments" Osiris spat cutting off Amari leaving the shop. He jogged across the busy street and hopped in his car before staring it and driving off.

He banged on Skylar apartment door not caring if he was disturbing the neighbors.

"She didn't tell you either" he heard from behind. He turned around seeing an old black lady standing in her door way with the door on a crack.

"Excuse me?" He questioned politely. She opened up her door a little more revealing her small frame.

"Her best friend was just here the other day" She answered. "She moved"

"What? When?"

"A few days ago" she told him. "Got rid of the furniture and everything including the dishes"

"Did she tell you where she moved too?"

She shook her head, "No she really didn't speak she seemed hurt and upset about something"

"Okay thank you" he smiled softly walking away heading to the elevator.

Skylar drunk her last bit of wine out of her glass as she sat in bed drawing up designs for her fall collection. Even though what Bryan did was low and trifling she wasn't going to let that break her down. She was still chasing that bag.

Over the past few weeks she sold everything from the apartment she shared with Bryan, found a two story condo, packed her things and left. For the first time, in a long time Skylar felt free.

Her phone stared vibrating on the bed getting her attention. She looked at the screen seeing her dad calling and she quickly pressed the volume button sending him to voicemail. He left a voicemail the day after the party telling her that he handled Bryan and that he had no clue what he was doing but she still refused to speak to him.

"Wassup? You not gonna say anything?" He questioned. Skylar bit the inside of cheek keeping her mouth shut. "I went by your place your neighbor said you moved" he continued. Osiris sat and waiting for Skylar to say something but she still stayed quiet. "Stop playing with me Sky and send me your damn location" he demanded.

Osiris stepped off the elevator and took a look around the decorated hallway seeing two doors, one on each side. He headed to the door on the right side and banged on it. A few seconds later he heard locks clicking before it opened halfway seeing Skylar.

"Hey" she greeted with a soft smile

"Wassup?" He asked her. She rolled her eyes refusing to answer. "You gonna let me in or what?"

Skylar opened the door and stepped to the side inviting him inside. "No shoes please" she said before walking into the kitchen seeing her wearing shorts and a tank top. He took off his Jordan's and looked around seeing a spiral staircase, big living room area, and a kitchen with marble floor and countertops.

"Nice place" he complimented looking out the big windows seeing the view of Philly.

"Thank you" she said taking out a bottle of wine out the fridge. She pulled out the cork and filled up her glass.

"You good?"

"Yeah I'm doing fine better than ever" she answered walking past him heading to the stairs with her glass of wine in her hand. "You coming?" She questioned.

"Liberty's worried about you" he said following her.

"I know I'm gonna call her later I just wanted to be alone for while" He made it to the top seeing her room that looked over the living room area. "I've just been busy with everything" she continued taking a seat on her bed.

"What have you been doing though?" He questioned. "It seems like you..."

He looked at her night stand and seen a sonogram picture. She turned her head and seen what he was looking at. She took a sip of her wine before turning back seeing him eyeing her.

"Wait? Hold up are you pregnant?" He asked taking a step closer getting ready to snatch that glass out her hand.

"I was pregnant" she said lowly. "I miscarried a few days after the party...a few days before I made five weeks"

He took a seat on the bed next to her. "Was it mine?"

"I don't think so we used condoms right?"

"Not the last round" he answered truthfully staring into her eyes seeing tears building up.

Skylar put her head down letting the tears fall. She didn't even know who the father was and she was excited to tell someone who didn't even want her anymore. "I can't believe I'm crying right now" she chuckled wiping her tears.

brushed one of them away but they just kept coming down. She moved his hand and just put her head down again and cried softly.

Skylar didn't want to tell anybody about what she went through. Not even Liberty or Jenny, she didn't want to hear the I told you so speech. When she found out about the pregnancy she was excited. She always wanted a baby and just when she got one it was gone. And someone she loved just up and left having a family with someone else.

How can someone say they love you to your face everyday but be lying the whole time?, she thought. How can I be so stupid?

Osiris didn't say anything, he let her have her moment. That night he watched her look around with hurt in her eyes, even with a smile on her face. He watched her get off the bed and walked into the bathroom seeing the door close. A few seconds later he heard water running from the sink.

Osiris looked at the sonogram picture again and shook his head. Now it made sense to him that she disappeared for awhile. She was going though a hard time.

Hearing the door open he seen her come out the bathroom fixing her hair. She sat down on the bed and went back to drinking her wine staying quiet.

"You alright now?" He question.

She rolled her eyes, "Yeah"

"Get dress" he demanded. "Come on"

"Where are we going?"

"Just get dress"

"Where are you taking me?" Skylar questioned as she sat in the passenger seat of his car.

"My tattoo shop" he answered.

"Okay...why?"

"You trust me?"

"I'm not getting a tattoo Osiris" she chuckled.

"Why not?"

"I don't want one right now" she told him. "You didn't even ask me first"

"Fine" he said sitting back in his seat waiting at the red light. "You wanna get a tattoo?"

"No" she laughed.

"Sky come on you need to get out the house-"

"And getting a tattoo was your first thought?"

"Yeah" he answered truthfully shrugging his shoulders. Skylar couldn't help but smile and shake her head. "And I drew you something"

"You drew me something?" She questioned nodding his head. "Can I see it?"

"It's at the tattoo shop" he chuckled.

Rolling her eyes, she couldn't help but laugh. "Fine I'll go to your shop but-"

"But what?"

"I'm not getting a tattoo" she answered hearing him laughing lightly.

"Y'all still here?" Osiris asked walking into the shop seeing his boys.

"You know we ain't got nothing better to do when we not working" Monty chuckled.

"Guys this is Skylar, that's Monty, Amari, Dre and my cousin Kofi"

"Hi" she waved smiling softly.

"Wassup?"

"How you doing?"

"Hey" They all greeted.

"Come on" Osiris said walking to the back. Skylar followed him entering a small room seeing a chair, a couch and all his tattoo equipment. She looked around the room eyeing the wall seeing hand drawn picture with his name at the bottom of them. There were also picture of tattoos he's done on people.

"How long this took you?" She asked pointing to one of the pictures.

"Like six hours"

"Here" he said passing the book showing her the picture.

"It's a jewel" she cheesed. "I love it!" Skylar looked at the picture Osiris drew for her and was in awe. It was diamond shape jewel with a crown sitting on top on the right side. Even though it was drawn in pencil it still looked realistic.

"Yo O!!" One of the guys yelled from the front.

"Wassup!!"

"You tattooing?!"

He looked over at Sky who shrugged her shoulders and nodded her head. "Yeah I'm about too!!" he answered. "You wanna get that tatted?" he asked her.

"Yeah I like it"

"Alright" he smiled standing up. After about ten minutes of getting everything ready he face Skylar who already had her shirt off.

"Tell me where you want it?" He asked holding the transfer paper. She opened her mouth and stuck out her tongue. He chuckled lightly and shook his head feeling himself getting turned on. He knew what she was hinting at and Skylar couldn't help but laugh at his face expression.

"Yeah"

He pressed the paper on her skin and smooth it out with his hand before carefully peeling it off revealing just the outline. He blew on it lightly so it can dry just a little faster.

"No just for everything thank you" she said cutting him off. She sat on the chair and laid down on her side.

"You ready?" He questioned. "Ain't no turning back now" he continued starting the tattoo gun.

"Fuck it"

Four hours later

"Almost done don't move" he told her filling up the empty spaces. She decided to make the jewel pink with purple tint with a gold crown.

"Really?"

"Yeah I'm just dotting the I in my name" he told her.

"What?" She questioned trying to look.

"All done" he said wiping the access ink off. He picked up his bottle of green soap and poured it on the tattoo before cleaning it up. "Go look" he told her lowering the chair.

Skylar carefully sat up and stepped off the chair. Walking to the mirror she looked at the tattoo and smile. "I like it it came out so nice thank you so much"

"Come here" he said holding his phone. "Turn to side I need a picture of this" As Skylar allowed Osiris to take picture of his tattoo work he just finished Kofi knocked on the door and walked in.

"You done bro? We closing up"

"Yeah I just finished"

"Can I see it?" Kofi asked Skylar. She nodded her head and showed him the tattoo. "That shit fire that's one of your best piece honestly"

"I know now watch everybody hit me up to do diamonds and crystals for them-"

"You know they are watch the phone be ringing off the hook once you post it" Kofi said before walking out leaving them two alone. After pulling her shirt over her head Skylar walked to her bag and grabbed her wallet pulling out three hundred bills. She handed it to him and he stared into her eyes for a few seconds before taking it out her hand.

"It only cost two hundred-"

"Osiris" she said sternly walking over to her bag, picking it up.

After about forty-five minutes flew by the guys finally closed up the shop for the night and went their separate ways. Kofi and June decided to go home while Osiris took Skylar back to her place.
