One Month Later

Skylar walked on her stage seeing everything set up perfectly. Tonight was the night of her fashion show and she couldn't be more excited.

"Ms Skylar?"

She heard her assistant call out. Turning around Skylar seen her walking closer with a nervous look written on her face.

"Hey what's wrong? Why you look like that?"

"We uh we are having a wardrobe mishap right now"

"What?!" She shouted. "Where? With who?"

"Jenny"

Skylar headed to back stage seeing her models getting ready for tonight. She walked in Jenny's area seeing Liberty struggling to zip up the dress. "I told you to calm down on all those damn cupcakes last month" she mumbled as Jenny sucked in her stomach trying to keep it from sticking out. "Oh my gosh are you pregnant?"

"Calm down Liberty" Skylar chuckled. "It's the wrong size" She continued looking at the tag in the back. "The one you are wearing is for Ashley"

Just then a tall skinny light skin model walked in with the same dress but as Jenny but different color. It hung loosely on her small fame.

"Oh my gosh girl I was scared half to death I thought I was pregnant" Jenny said to the model making her laugh lightly. Liberty quickly unzip the dress as Jenny striped out of it before passing it to Ashley. She pulled the straps off her shoulders and let the dress fall to the ground before picking it up and handing it to Jenny. As Skylar walked out the dressing area her phone begin to ring in her hand. She looked at the screen and seen it was Bryan calling making her smile.

"Hey baby" she cheesed. "I can't wait for you too see this" she squealed. "It looks amazing there's jewels hanging from the ceiling-"

"Yeah about that" he said. Skylar smile quickly faded as she felt her heart stop. Tonight was very important to her and he knew that. "I won't be able to come my mothers in the hospital"

"Oh wow is she okay?"

"I don't know I'm on my way there now to see what's going on"

"Okay I hope everything okay keep me posted alright?"

"Okay I'll try to make it after I know what's going on"

"Alright" she said sadly

"I love you" he told her.

"Me too" she said sadly before hanging up. She heard footsteps approaching from behind. Turning around she saw Liberty walking up to her.

"You alright?" She asked her.

"Yeah Bryan won't be able to come"

Liberty rolled her eyes and shook her head, "What's his excuse this time?"

"His mother is in the hospital"

"Oh my gosh is she alright?" Liberty questioned placing her hand over her heart.

"I don't know he said he's gonna keep me posted"

"Damn hope she alright" she said shaking her head. "But don't stress it this night is about you and your talent Sky"

"I know I just wish Bryan would come or my family-"

"Wait your family not coming?" Liberty questioned as Skylar rolled her eyes.

"Princess said she might come with some of her friends but we will see" She answered. "But I know my dads coming cause he wants to meet the new security team or whatever"

"New? What happen to the one you hired?"

"The security we originally hired canceled on us this morning so we had to start all over but luckily we found two people to do it" Skylar answered. "And I'm paying them extra cause they came through last minute"

They heard people chattering from a distance catching their attention. Turning around Skylar and Liberty seen people walking in.

"It's time" Liberty squealed lightly clapping her hands. "You ready?"

"No" Skylar quickly answered before walking off heading backstage to change her clothes with Liberty following.

"Man I don't know why I agreed to do this bullshit job" Osiris said to Dre as they stood in the big hallway dressed in all black watching his uncle talk to a older black man. Too make extra money on the side the guys would do little security jobs for Osiris and the twins Uncle Russ security business. They usually do small events like weddings and birthday parties like sweet sixteen but tonight was big.

"Unc didn't tell you how much we making tonight?" Dre questioned.

"No he said he'll tell us when he gets here-"

"Nephew!!"

Osiris turned around and seen his uncle walking up to them. He was smiling from ear to ear holding a piece of paper. "Ya gonna make big bucks tonight why couldn't the others do it?"

"Appointments and Monty baby sick so he's taking care of her"

"So it's just ya two?" He questioned as they nodded their head slowly because he knew the answer already. "Well that's good too cause it not a crazy thing just a small show and after party-"

"Unc how much we getting paid for this?" Osiris asked him.

"Fifteen thou"

"Each?" Dre questioned.

"Each since they called me last minute they offered fifteen thousand as a thank you" he answered with a smile on his face. "Ya got ya ear and mic pieces?"

"Yeah" they answered at the same time.

"Alright go on now" he said rushing them off.

"Why you rushing Unc? We already late-" Dre started to say before he got cut off.

"Boy I'll still slap the shit out" Uncle Russ threaten. "You too O"

"I didn't even-"

"Shut up go on in there"

Osiris and Dre walked through the big double doors seeing celebrities everywhere. Chris Brown, Kendall Jenner, Kanye West, Fabolous, P. Diddy and Cassie.

"Oh shit what kind of party is this?" Dre questioned seeing Rihanna on the other side of the room. "Yoo bro wifey here look" he smiled about to make his way over to her.

"Yo we working man" Osiris stated quickly pulling him back. "Watch this side I'll watch the other side" he continued before walking away as everybody went to take their seats getting ready for the show that was about to start.

He took a look around seeing jewels everywhere before the lights turned off leaving the room pitch black. The stage lit up and music started to play as models started to walk the runway showing off dresses, jackets, jumpsuits, and shirts and pants for men as well. The show went on for about fifteen minutes before it ended and everyone began to cheer.

"Everybody please put your hands together for Skylar Jewels!!" The announcer said in the mic.

Skylar took a deep breath and walked out onto the runway with a smile on her face. She took a look around seeing how many people came to support her. Her eyes landed on Osiris and she started to have flashback of that night but quickly shook them away trying to stay focus.

After Skylar said a small speech and thanked everyone for coming they walked into the next room for a small after party.

"Oh my gosh I am so proud of you!'" Liberty cheesed hugging her best friend.

"Oh my gosh I can't believe Rihanna's here" Jenny said squeezing Skylar arm.

"Jenny you have to be calm and professional tonight"

"I know I know" Jenny said waving her off. "But I might get Chris brown number though" she continued sticking her tongue out before walking away as they both laughed.

"Let me make sure she really don't harass him" Liberty joked.

"Yes please watch her crazy ass" Skylar added as Liberty laughed and walked away mixing with the crowd.

Skylar walked around and spoke to her guest scanning the room until her eyes landed on Osiris. Once she made eye contact with him she slowly started to make her way to the doors. Slowly looking back she saw him talk to his partner before walking around the party heading to her side. She made her way through the double doors leaving the party. Walking through the hall she heard the doors open and she turned around seeing Osiris. She turned the corner and walked into a dimmed lit room keeping the door open for him.

He walked in the room and quickly closed the door as her heart began to beat faster. "We gotta stop meeting like this" he chuckled.

"What are you doing here?" She questioned.

"I came to see you baby" he smiled walking closer to her. Her eyes grew big as she backed away from him and he couldn't help but laugh. "I'm joking Sky I'm working" he told her showing her his security ID badge. Skylar let out a breath of fresh air happy he wasn't stalking her.

"I thought you do tattoos?" She questioned.u

"I do this on the side to get a little extra cash" he answered licking his lips undressing her with his eyes. He had to admit the outfit she had on looked sexy on her. The rose gold diamond dress hug her frame perfectly with her hair straighten, flowing down her back.

"So this your fashion show huh?" He question stepping closer to her.

"Yeah" she answered taking a step back.

"This shit dope for real" he complimented.

"Thank you"

"Why you look so nervous though?" He questioned walking closer.

"I'm not nervous" she lied.

"Yes you are" he chuckled.

Osiris walked up to her as she took step back reaching the table behind her. "How'd you know I do tattoos?" He questioned lifting her up by her ass placing her on the table standing between her legs. "You been checking up on me?" He chuckled rubbing his lips against hers. She wrapped her arms around his neck before kissing him lips passionately.

"We-I can't do this" she whispered feeling his lips kiss on her neck as she placed her hands on his belt buckle.

He grabbed the wire and pressed the mic button down before speaking. "I'm coming now" He answered staring in Skylar eyes. He grabbed her phone off the table and handed it to her.

"Unlock it for me" he demanded. She took her thumb and pressed the home button unlocking. He put his number in and hand it back to her. "Come on you got people out there waiting for you" he continued helping her down from the table. As Skylar walked past him he gave her ass a hard smack.

"You know that turns me on" She said sexually looking back at him making him laugh. He bit his bottom lip watching her walk in front of him.

Bryan held Isabella hand as they walked into their house they own together. They just came from having dinner at her favorite restaurant celebrating their anniversary. Turning on the light, Isabella walked into the kitchen to get herself a glass of water. She placed her Chanel bag on the marble counter before grabbing her cell phone.

Going to the cabinet she unlocked her iPhone and tapped the Snapchat app. She scrolled through her list checking certain friends and family member moments before watching Skylars just when Bryan walked in.

"I see you still haven't told her" She said to Bryan looking at videos and pictures of her fashion show.

"I will I'm not telling her tonight obviously you see how tonight is special for her"

"Tonight isn't special for me?" She questioned staring into his eyes. She study his face and took a step away from him.

"You care about her" she said sadly.

"I've been with her for four years-"

"But you're engaged to me" she said cutting him off. "You love her?"

"You know-"

"Do you love her?"

"No" he answered quickly.

"So tell her!!"

"I will!!"

"When?!"

"When the time is right-"

"Well you need to tell her soon cause I'm pregnant" she said cutting him off. Hearing the word pregnant Bryans eyes widen. "If your trying not to break her soft little heart that's too bad cause her world is about to shatter" Isabella spat before walking out the kitchen.

"Fuck" he whispered sitting on the bar stool that was placed at the island counter.

A few days went by and Skylar noticed how distant Bryan's been since the night of her fashion show. She watched him come home pack a small duffel bag full of clothes and leave. He hasn't kissed or touched her leaving her curious about his action. Even though he told her his mother is in the hospital she felt like it was more to the story.

Every time she would asked him how she doing or what is the update he would throw a fit. Today she decided to go to the hospital herself and see how she doing.

"Hi I'm here to visit Diane Miller" she said to the lady at the front desk. She watched her type something in the computer with a small smile on her face.

"Um I'm sorry there isn't a patient here with that name"

Skylar raised her eyebrow as her smile quickly faded. "Did she get discharged today? I'm family so..."

"There was no patient here with that name I'm sorry I think you got the wrong hospital"

"Okay thank you" she said before turning around heading to the doors.

Pissed off, Skylar walked out the hospital and quickly hopped in her car heading straight home. As soon as she walked through the door she called Bryan not caring if he was in a meeting.

"Yes Skyl-"

"Why'd you lie to me?"

"What are you talking-"

"Your mother was never in the hospital"

"Are you serious right now my mother-"

"I just left the hospital so stop lying Bryan!!" She shouted. "What the hell has gotten into you?! Your lying about your mother's health now?!" She continued.

"Goodbye Skylar" she heard him say before he hung up on her. She called him back and it went straight to voicemail.

She went to her contact list to call Liberty and tell her what just happen but somebody else came to mind.

Meanwhile on the other side of the city....

"How much you got so far?" Dre question as him and Osiris counted their money they got from Skylar.

"Ten thou" he answered sitting in the driver side. He wasn't stressing that Skylar hasn't texted him yet because he knew that she would come around. The way she acted at her event gave the answer away. She wanted more. Once he was done he put the money back in the envelope to take to the bank later.

"If she going to be paying me like this I'll be her fucking security for a living" Dre said putting his envelope in his back pocket. "But yoo I'm outta here I'll hit you up later" he continued dapping his boy up before walking to his car.

"Alright man" Osiris said stepping out his car. He slammed the door shut and locked his car before entering his house. Jogging up the stairs he headed to his bedroom taking his phone off the charger. He laid on his bed and checked his phone seeing a missed called from an unknown number. He tapped the screen calling the number back. It ranged a few times in his ear and just when he was about to hang up he heard the person answer, recognizing the voice.

"Hello?"

"Wassup Sky?"
