Skylar couldn't help but smile as she looked at herself in the mirror. Wearing a black Versace maxi dress with a split on the side revealing her leg up to her thigh with black Versace heels to match. The dress fit her body so perfectly and her breast sat up just right she didn't have to wear a bra. She curled her hair, did her make up and put on some jewelry.

Tonight was the night of the party for Bryan and she was excited to see him. Even though she still hasn't heard from him she was excited to tell him she was four weeks pregnant. She knew he would be happy because he always told her he wanted a big family. 

She grabbed her clutch and walked out the door locking up the place before running into her neighbor, Mrs. Stevens.

"Good evening Miss Jewels you look gorgeous where you going? A party?" She questioned eyeing her dress.

"Thank you Mrs. Steven and yeah I'm going to a party my dad is throwing for Bryan" she smiled.

"Oh that's nice have fun by the way where has he been?"

"At his friends house" Skylar answered heading to the elevator. "But have a goodnight see you around" she continued. She was already late but she didn't care, Bryan and her father both knew that she was never on time.

Fashionably late, she thought to herself watching the elevator door close.

Osiris stood in the main lobby waiting for Mr. Indigo daughter. He didn't know who she was but he knew she was late and he was annoyed about it. Over the week, his uncle called him up  telling him that Mr. Indigo wanted to continue doing work with him.

"Yoo this party looks like it straight out a movie scene" He heard Dre said in his ear piece. "You see this shit?"

"Nah I'm still in the lobby"

"She still ain't get here yet?"

"Nah man" he chuckled watching the door seeing Skylar walking through. He eyed the dress she was wearing and couldn't help but think about all the things he wanted to do to her behind closed doors.

"My father must really like your work" she smirked walking up to him.

"Mr. Indigo is your father?" He asked as she nodded her head. "You know you're late right?" She shrugged. "Spread them" he told her. She spread out her arms waiting for him to scan and check her. "I'm not talking about your arms" he smirked. Skylar couldn't help but smile as she put her arms back down to her side.

"You always gotta start" she chuckled heading to the party with Osiris next to her. "Are you escorting me in?"

"Yeah"

Osiris opened and held the door for her watching her walk in. "Yoo" he called out getting her attention. She turned around and faced him.

"You look beautiful" he complimented.

"Thank you" she smiled watching him walk away disappearing in the crowd.

Skylar seen her father walking around with Bryan next to him introducing him to people from around. She made her way over to them tapping him on his shoulder.

"Hi" she greeted getting everybody's attention.

"This is Skylar my lovely daughter and Bryans girlfriend" her father said. She heard Bryan clear his throat but she ignored him listening to people introduce themselves to her.

"We need to talk" he whispered in her ear once they left, leaving them alone.

"About?" She whispered back.

"Us"

"Can it wait? Cause I got something to tell you too" she smiled softly seeing he was getting    nervous making her frown.

Osiris looked around the room until his eyes landed on Skylar who was talking Bryan. He seen the frown on her face but then it turned into a small smile. He continue to look around seeing a girl staring at them from a distance. Squinting his eyes, he took a good look at her, recognizing her from Friday's.

What the fuck she doing here? he thought.

"Good evening everybody" Mr. Indigo said at the podium getting his attention. The guest went and took their seats at their tables respecting their boss. He wanted to go warn Skylar but when he look back,  she was gone.

Jess looked up from her phone as she seen someone sitting down next to her at the table. She was taken back a little when she saw Skylar smiling listening to her father introduce Bryan.

"Hey" she whispered with a soft smile getting her attention. "I know I didn't introduce myself  before but my name is Jess" she continued putting her hand out.

"Skylar, nice to meet you" Skylar greeted shaking her hand. Jess looked up at the podium seeing Bryan talking and thanking Mr. Indigo for everything he's done for him. She seen Isabella standing on the side and her smile quickly turned to a frown.

"Listen I know we aren't friends but there's something I need to tell you" she whispered.

Skylar looked at her like she was crazy. She was getting annoyed that she kept talking during the speech, "I'm sorry but I'm trying to listen-"

"I would like to thank my fiancé Isabella" Bryan said as the crowd clapped lightly. Skylar snapped her at neck looking over at Bryan. She watched a Spanish girl walk up to the podium with a smile on her face. She squinted her eyes recognizing the girl from Friday's restaurant.

Her eyes landed on her father who was clapping lightly. He made eye contact with her and she quickly put the smile back on not showing sadness. She was hurt but she refused to let these people see that side of her. With the smile still on her face, she stood up from the table and headed to the door.

"Bryan and I would also like to share that we will be expecting a little Miller" she heard the girl say in the microphone.

Skylar quickly turned around and watched everyone clapped lightly again. Her vision started to blur and her breathing got heavy, like she was suffocating. Blinking the tears away she seen his eyes staring at her and she turned around leaving through the double doors walking into the main lobby. She kept her head held high as she walked out the building seeing the valet guys talking and laughing.

"Leaving already? You just got here" one of the guys chuckled once they saw her. Without saying a word she passed him her ticket. After what just went down in there she wasn't in the mood to joke. She just wanted to go home and be alone.

"Yo ma!!" She heard Osiris voice from behind.

"I gotta go" she told him seeing him walking up to her.

"You going to be okay?" He asked her. She felt him stand next to her but she refused to look at him. She was too embarrassed.

"Yeah I'll be fine" she nodded her head feeling tears building up in her eyes again. "You should go back inside I don't want you to get in trouble"

He heard her voice crack, "It's cool"

"Yeah but you don't have to be out here with me O" she sniffed.

"I know...but I want too" he told her. She slowly looked over seeing him looking at her. A tear slid down her cheek and she put her head down. Osiris gently grabbed her chin and lifted her head up seeing more tears sliding down her cheek.

"Excuse me" they heard the valet from the side.  Skylar quickly wiped her tears away seeing her car ready for her.

Thank you" she whispered to Osiris before walking to her car. She went into her clutch and tipped the valet before hopping in and driving off going straight home.

Skylar walked into her apartment and kicked off her heels. She headed straight to her bedroom and striped out her dress. Heading to the bathroom she clipped up her hair and turned the shower on letting it heat up to the perfect temperature.

She took off her underwear and stepped in the shower and grabbed her rag and soap, lathering it up. As she washed up her body she couldn't help but cry. Not only did she feel like her heart been broken into pieces but she was embarrassed in front of over fifty people, including her father.

She continued to wash her body a couple of more times before stepping up wrapping a towel around her. She went into her room and dried off before rubbing her body down with body lotion. She threw on an oversize t-shirt on and crawled under the covers on her bed feeling tears slid down her face.

Her phone vibrated on her nightstand and she seen it was a text from Osiris. Sliding her finger across the screen, unlocking her phone, she opened it up.

A small smile spread across her face as she locked her phone and put it on do not disturb before crying herself asleep.
