Delilah's POV:

The rest of the holidays went by really quickly as we continued on with the wedding planning. We aren't completely done, but we are almost finished. We have all of the most important things sorted out, we just need to finalise a few things during the spring holidays and then we will be completely done and ready for our wedding in July.

Draco, Indie and I were now back at school, and we were just making our way to Transfiguration class. Madam Pomfrey is busy for the whole of this morning so she couldn't look after Indie, meaning that we had to take her to class with us. This will be the first ever lesson she'll be attending at Hogwarts, and I'm glad it's Transfiguration because it is a class I shared with Draco so we can look after her together.

We told Professor McGonagall beforehand to make her aware that Indie was attending so that she wouldn't have us doing anything too dangerous in the lesson.

We were a few minutes late to class because Indie refused to leave, but we bribed her with sweets and she eventually came with us. As soon as we entered the classroom we saw some small animals placed on our table.

"Bunnies!" Indie shouted as she tried to run towards the rabbit that was sat on our empty desk, and this made a couple of the students laugh.

"Yes, it's a bunny", I said to her.

"Ah, marvellous. You're here now, I wasn't sure if you'd be able to make it", McGonagall greeted as we sat down on our seats. "Would you like an extra chair for Indigo?"

"No, it's fine", Draco said as he picked Indie up and placed her on his legs, "she can sit on my lap."

"Can we keep it?" Indie asked, stroking the rabbit.

"No, sorry sweetie but they belong to the school", I took my book out of my bag and placed it on the desk as Draco did the same.

"Okay students, as you have probably already realised we have a new student joining us for our class today", she gestured towards Indie and all of the class turned around to face us, if they weren't already.

Indie seemed to enjoy all the attention being on her, so she squealed and threw her arms up in the air. As she did so, one of her hands hit Draco right in the face and he grunted in pain. She may be small, but she is one strong girl. Her action caused the whole class to erupt into laughter, and I even saw McGonagall attempting to hide her own laughter, but failing. Draco playfully glared at me when I started laughing as well.

When the class calmed down, McGonagall continued on with lesson. "So, as we have a new student, we are going to go back to the basic stuff just for this lesson."

She took her wand out of her own robe and placed her animal, a small bird, on the table in front of her, "For today's lesson, we are going to be transfiguring the animals on our desks into stuffed animals, especially for Indigo."

"Yay!" Indie screamed. She was so excited that she picked up Draco's book and threw it across the classroom.

"Indie!" he said in a slightly amused tone as he handed her over me so he could fetch his book that was now on the floor on other side of the classroom. Again, this made the class burst out laughing, I could tell they were enjoying having Indie in the lessons as it meant they didn't have to do much hard work.

"I'm so sorry Professor", he said as he came back to sit down, his book now in hand.

I saw a few people exchange glances with each other, as the Draco they knew from a few years ago would never be caught dead apologising to a teacher, especially a halfblood.

"That is quite alright Mr Malfoy, there is no need to apologise. I'm glad that Indigo seems to be enjoying the lesson", she chuckled.

After Draco and I had got Indie to calm down a bit, McGonagall gave us the instructions for the spell and sent us to work.

All around us, animals on the desks started turning into a stuffed version, and that got Indie very excited again.

On the first try, Draco was able to turn the rabbit on our desk into a stuffed bunny and Indie immediately grabbed it off the table as soon as he did.

"My bunny!" she shouted, making a few people turn their heads to look at us.

"Yes-", I started to say to her but before I could finish, she jumped off of Draco's lap and began running around the classroom.

Draco stood up from his chair as fast as he could to go and chase after her. I stayed sat down and tried to hide my face so that he couldn't see I was laughing at him as he ran round the room trying to catch his crazy daughter.

He eventually caught up with her and swooped her up so she was now in one of his arms. He picked up a stuffed rat that she had thrown on the floor and placed it back on the students desk before making his way back over to our desk.

"Shut up", he said as he jokingly rolled his eyes when he saw I was laughing.

The class was eventually dismissed, so we left with Indie, who was incredibly happy with her new favourite toy.

"You've gone soft", I said to Draco as we exited the classroom, nudging him in the ribs with my elbow.

"I have not gone soft!" he snapped back, not wanting to admit the truth.

"You totally have!" I chuckled.

"Fine then, explain to me what I've done that's made me go 'soft' or whatever", he said.

"First of all, you apologised to McGonagall, and secondly, you picked up that kids stuffed rat that Indie threw on the floor for them when they could've easily done it themselves."

"That's just called being nice", he huffed.

"Well, considering how you used to be, you've gone soft."

"Will you stop pestering me if I tell you I have?" he asked.

"Yes, I will", I said.

"Fine, maybe I have gone a little soft", he admitted and I smiled at my victory.

-----

"Where do you wanna go first?" Draco asked Indie.

"Sweeties!" she cheered.

"Honeydukes it is then", he said as we started making our way over there.

It was the first Hogsmeade trip of this term, so we decided to take Indie along with us, since she's never been before but always enjoys the candies we bring back for her.

We walked into Honeydukes Sweetshop and, as usual, it was filled with people, all trying to get some of their favourite Wizarding goodies.

"Chocolate, chocolate!" Indie exclaimed as soon as she saw her favourite chocolate frogs on the shelf. She then started dragging Draco through the crowd of people and over to them, as I followed closely behind.

"Okay princess", Draco said to her as he bent down to her level, "now, you can pick three pieces of candy, so choose wisely."

"Yes dada", she said as she proceeded to grab three chocolate frogs off of the shelf.

"Wow, that was fast. Are you sure you want three of those?" he asked as he stood up.

"Yes!" she smiled. She was getting so good at speaking now, it was almost as if you were talking to a proper adult.

"Okay, let's go pay then", he took her hand in his and we walked over to the cash register. On the way, I grabbed a few little things for Draco and I to snack on as well.

Once we'd finished paying, we walked out the shop again and over to the Three Broomsticks to have something to drink.

"I'll order, what would you like to drink?" Draco asked as I sat down on a free table, placing Indie between me and the wall so that she wouldn't fall off as there were no high chairs.

"Nothing, I don't feel that well", I admitted.

"What do you mean?" he questioned, looking a bit concerned, as he came and sat down in the chair in front of us to listen to what was wrong.

"It's nothing, I just feel like I'll be sick if I eat or drink anything", I told him, starting to get the sick feeling in my stomach again.

"Are you just feeling like this today or has it been going on for a while?" he worriedly asked. He's been so protective of me recently after the whole Rita Skeeter incident and he's always checking up on me to check I'm okay because he's scared of loosing me.

"Ever since the engagement", I said. I haven't been feeling too well and I've had more of an appetite but at the same time I feel like I'll throw up if I do eat.

"The engagement?! That was over a month ago, why didn't you tell me?" he took hold of my hand and started running circles with his thumb on my palm.

"I just didn't want to worry you, I'm sure it's just the stress of there being so much to do in so little time with the wedding and all", I reassured him.

"You've also been quite tired recently, haven't you?" he said, and I could tell by the look on his face that he was trying to work something out.

"Yeah..." I replied, wondering where he was going with this.

"You don't think you could be, you know... pregnant", he whispered.
