Delilah's POV:

"Are you going to be doing quidditch this year?" I asked Draco as were laying on the couch together, waiting for Indie to wake up.

"They're doing it this year?" he questioned.

"Yeah, they announced it yesterday I think, or the day before", I said.

"Well then maybe, I'll see how I feel on the day of the tryouts."

"You don't have to try out though because you were on the team a few years ago", I told him.

"Really? I thought even if you were on the team you still had to try out", he said in a questioning tone.

"Yeah, I thought that too but apparently not."

"How did you find out about this?" he asked, wanting to know how I knew before he did.

"Hermione told me. She said that you and Harry wouldn't have to try out if you wanted to be on the team because you were both really good, or something like that", I recalled, trying to remember exactly what 'mione had told me.

"Potter? Is he doing it then?" he said, lifting up his head slightly to focus more on the answer I was going to give him.

"Yes, he's captain. And he said you'd probably be captain now since last year's captain isn't here anymore and you were always one of the best on the team."

"Where do I sign up then?" he asked. I laughed at the fact that I only had to mention that Harry was doing to it get him to do it as well.

"I'm not sure, maybe go and talk to McGonagall about it, she'll most likely know."

"Okay," he said as he started to stand up off the couch, "I'll be back soon."

"You're going now?!" I questioned, shocked that he was suddenly so eager to sign up.

"Yeah, but don't worry, I'll probably be back by the time Indie wakes up", and with that, he was out the door.

Not even five minutes later, he walked back in the door with a huge grin on his face.

"How'd it go?" I asked, even though by the look in his face I think I already knew.

"You are currently look at the new captain and seeker of the Slytherin quidditch team!" he exclaimed.

"No way! Congratulations!" I shouted as I ran over to him in excitement and wrapped him in a huge hug. "I'm so proud of you, I know how much you've always wanted this", I said.

One of the many things we talked about when we discussed what we were looking forward to about coming back to Hogwarts was quidditch. He told me all about how much he loves quidditch and played it all the time when he was younger, and that one of his big aims in life was to be the Slytherin captain, but he thought that it would never happen because of his past as a Death Eater. And now, here he was, seeker and captain of Slytherin's quidditch team.

"So what happened?" I asked him, wanting to know everything.

"They said they hoped I'd want to play this year and they were very happy when I came to sign up. And then they said that Potter and I were a few of the best seekers they've ever seen at Hogwarts, especially for our age, and that they thought we'd be perfect captains of our house teams. So yeah, then they gave me the role of captain and now I have to organise the tryouts for tomorrow."

"Oh my gosh, I'm so happy for you!" I said, then I congratulated him in my own little way.

-----

It was now the beginning of November and the day of the first quidditch match this year, and it was a Slytherin vs. Gryffindor game, the most anticipated matches as they have always been the best two teams.

Draco has been doing so well this past month as quidditch captain. He hosted the tryouts and was very brutal about it so that only the best of the best could get through, which they did. I've gone to a few of their practices and, I'm not just saying this because he's my boyfriend, but they are incredibly good and definitely the best Slytherin team they've had so far.

Every morning and every evening he was busy at quidditch practices, training the team really hard so that they can become unstoppable and, more importantly, beat Gryffindor at today's match.

I was currently getting Indie and I ready for the match, both of us wearing green of course. Indie was wearing a little green dress, that she picked out herself, and I was wearing one of Draco's old quidditch jerseys with some plain black jeans. And Draco was already out, preparing him and his team for the match.

"Are we going to see daddy playing quidditch?" I asked her once I'd finished touching up my makeup.

"Captain dada!" she said, jumping up and down at the mention of her father.

"Come on, let's go", I said as I took her hand in mine and we walked out of the apartment.

"Hello you two", Grayson said. He was waiting for us outside so that we could go to the pitch together. With a few disagreements, I finally persuaded him to support Slytherin today so he was also wearing green.

"We see dada!" Indie told him after wrapping her arms around his legs to greet him.

"Yes we are, are you excited?" he said as he slightly bent down to her level.

"Yes!" she shouted, jumping up and down on the spot again.

We walked down to the pitch with a very enthusiastic Indie. I had never taken her to any of the practices before so this was her first time actually seeing him play and to say she was excited would be a huge understatement.

When we finally reached the stands, we sat down at the very front so that we could get the best view. We were very early so there weren't too many people there, but as time went on, more and more people started to arrive and, when the match was just about to start, the last of the seats were filled up.

The Gryffindor team was introduced first and they came out one by one, not in any formation at all. They got a huge cheer, but then the Slytherin team came flying on, looking all professional in a v-shaped formation and got an even bigger cheer.

It wasn't hard to spot him when he came out, with his pale blonde hair. He was at the front of the formation and led the rest of the team a couple of laps around the pitch as the cheering continued.

"Dada!" Indie shouted, trying to get his attention by waving her arms in the air.

Draco broke out of the v-shape along with the rest of them as they began to take their places ready for the start of the match. I could see his eyes scanning the crowd for us and I saw a massive smile spread across his face when his eyes met mine.

He quickly flew over to us and gave me and Indie a kiss on the cheek, making the crowd cheer even louder.

"Good luck!" I said before he gave me a wink and flew off to start the match.

"Welcome every one to the first quidditch of the year. Today it is Slytherin vs. Gryffindor", said the commentator, making everyone cheer. "Madam Hooch is stepping out onto the pitch, ready to start the game!"

I could see Madam Hooch saying a few words to both the teams, but I was too far away to hear, and then she went to open up the chest.

"The bludgers and the snitch have been released! Remember, a quaffle through the hoop is worth ten points and catching the snitch is worth one hundred and it ends the game. The team with the most points at the end wins!"

I looked over to my boyfriend and saw his eyes following the snitch until he lost sight of it. I looked over to Harry and I saw that he couldn't see it either, which made me relieved.

"The quaffle is released, and the game begins!" shouted the commentator.

The players began flying around the pitch, and one of the Slytherins grabbed the quaffle and raced towards the goal. They threw it at the hoop and scored.

"Ten points to Slytherin!"

About an hour into the game, and when two Gryffindors had been sent off injured and unconscious, the commentator announced, "The snitch has been spotted! Harry Potter has spotted the golden snitch."

I quickly scanned my eyes over the players until I spotted Harry, who was chasing after the snitch. I looked over to Draco and saw the he was closely following behind him, also having seen the snitch.

"Slytherin are currently in the lead with 110 points to 40 points, so if either of them catch it, they've won the game."

"Go Draco!" I heard Grayson shouted as he was getting into the game.

"Yay dada!" shouted Indie amongst the crowd of cheering people.

Harry was so close to the snitch and he reached out his arm to grab it, only a centimetre away. But suddenly his arm slipped, causing him to almost fall off of his broom, soaring to the ground, but saving himself just in time.

"Harry Potter has missed the snitch and- oh my gosh, he's done it... Draco Malfoy has caught the golden snitch, winning the match for Slytherin, 210 points to 40 points."

The Slytherin crowd went wild, and everyone was cheering for the victory. I picked up Indie in my arms and ran down to the pitch as fast as I could to got and congratulate Draco and the rest of the team.

When I made it to the pitch, the Slytherins were just landing on the grass and jumping off of their brooms. I watched Draco land and I ran straight towards him with Indie still in my arms, cheering for her dad.

"Congratulations Dray! You did absolutely incredible, I'm so proud of you!" I said as I wrapped one of my arms around him and he wrapped both of his around me and Indie.

"It was all because of you guys, you're cheering helped me so much", he said. He took his arms off of me and grabbed Indie from my arms and placed her on his shoulders.

"Dada win!" she cheered, waving her arms around.

When Indie was safely on his shoulders, he pulled me in for a long, passionate kiss, causing the crowd to wild.

We pulled apart, breathless, and the Slytherins all crowded around us, cheering Draco's name. Indie was having the absolute time of her life, being the centre of attention with her dad as everyone was cheering his name.

It was in that moment, I realised how much I appreciated the both of them, and I wondered where I'd be if I didn't have them. They were the loves of my life.
