Delilah's POV:

"That was close", I said as I exited the bathroom.

"Yeah, too close, I think we should come up with a plan or something to keep you and Indie as safe as possible", he replied, laying down on his bed.

"Good idea", I went to lay down next to him and placed Indie in between us.

"Everything's gonna be okay little one", he whispered to Indie before picking her up and laying her back down on to his chest.

"Am I going to be sleeping in... here?" I questioned.

"Yeah, it's probably the safest. I mean, if your okay sharing a bed with me that is", he said, a slight blush beginning to form on his cheeks.

"Okay, that's fine", I said then gave him an awkward smile. "But what about Indie? Because I don't think it's safe for her to sleep in a bed with us in case we squish her or she falls off".

He chuckled before replying with, "I'll get my mother to find us something. I'm sure she'll be more than happy to help".

And as if on queue, Narcissa knocked on the door and walked in, without even waiting for a reply. "Hello dears," she said as she walked over to the bed with some plates in her hand, "I've brought you two some dinner to save you from going downstairs as your father is about to start a meeting". She placed the plates of food down onto the desk as Draco and I stood up from the bed, Indie still comfortably in Draco's arms.

"Thanks mom", he said as we eyed up the food she had brought us. It looked to be some sort of spaghetti with sauce on and then some bread on the side. I knew that Narcissa was an amazing cook from the times my parents would have dinner parties with her, which I was sometimes invited along to.

"Anytime honey. Would you like me to hold Wendy for you while you eat?" she asked, obviously eager to hold her first grandchild.

"It's Indie mom", Draco said rolling his eyes whilst I chuckled.

"Oh Wendy, Indie same thing!" she said, waving her hands about.

"No mom, it really isn't", Draco said, getting more annoyed.

"Well I think Wendy suits her", I butted in, chuckling and smiling at Narcissa.

"You two are so annoying", he shook his head and I could tell he was trying to hold in a smile in.

"Fine, now can I please hold my granddaughter?!" she urged, practically forcing her out of Draco's arms.

"Okay, but don't drop her", Draco warned.

"I'm not going to drop her DeeWee, don't worry", she said, beginning to rock Indie in her arms.

"DeeWee?" I asked, confused as to what that meant.

"Oh, no. Here we go", Draco said as he put his head in his hands.

"Well, when Draco was a little boy, probably around three of four, he decided he didn't like his name. He made us 'legally' change his name to DeeWee because he thought it made him sound like a superhero, so that's been my nickname for him ever since. He hates it now of course, so that's why I love calling him it", Narcissa smiled, remembering the days of when Draco was a toddler.

"I think I've found my new nickname for you DeeWee", I said as I looked over to him with a huge grin spread across my face.

He looked up from his hands and coughed, his face flushed with embarrassment, "Alright mom, I think that's enough for today", he said before standing up and trying to take Indie from her arms so she could leave.

"Don't think you're getting rid of me that easily DeeWee, I have plenty of more stories to tell!" she backed away from Draco so he couldn't take Indie away from her.

"Come on mother, please. It's not funny", he said, trying to cover up his embarrassment.

"You're right DeeWee, it's not funny - it's hilarious", I chuckled, not being able to hold back my laugh.

"You know that's not what I meant Delilah", he gave me a harsh look.

"I don't know what you're talking about", I smiled.

"You've always been a stubborn little child Draco." She turned to me and asked, "Do you remember when he used to gel his hair back everyday for the first few years of Hogwarts?"

"Of course I do!" I giggled, "How could I forget?"

"Well, he started to wear that because he wanted to impress the ladies at Hogwarts and look more grown up. So, before he left, he had me buy him fifteen tubs of hair gel!"

"Ah yes, Draco's always been a ladies man", I smirked at him.

"Okay mother, that really is enough", Draco said, his once pale face was now almost as red as a tomato.

"Fine sweetie, but don't think this is over! I have plenty of more stories to tell Delilah about baby Draco", she said as she passed Indie back to him.

"Can't wait!" I smiled at her as she began to leave.

"Oh, and before I forget", she took out her wand and muttered a spell before suddenly a crib appeared in the corner of the room. "For Indie", she said then walked out and shut the door behind her.

"I'm sorry about her", he apologised, his face starting to turn back to its normal shade.

"What are you sorry for, she's amazing! I always knew I loved your mother for a reason", I nudged him in his ribs when he rolled his eyes.

"You two are just as bad as each other", he said, shaking his head.

Indie yawned in his arms, making us realise how late it was. "I think it's time we get this little one to bed", I said as we walked over to her crib and Draco placed her in there, tucking her in. "She's so beautiful", I said as I smiled down at our daughter.

"She gets it from her mother", he said, making me look up him and our eyes locked, and a slight blush crept onto my cheeks.

"We should probably eat the food now, before it gets cold", I said, breaking the silence.

"Um- yeah, okay", he muttered, finally taking his eyes off mine. We walked over to his desk, grabbed the food and sat at the bottom of his bed, eating the food and talking.

He told me more about his childhood, not as entertaining stories as Narcissa told but they were good enough, and I told him some stories from my childhood.

When we had finished eating, we went into his bathroom to get ready for bed. He gave me one of his shirts to sleep in as we realised I had left my clothes, and Indie's clothes back at Hogwarts.

Once we'd gotten ready we each gave Indie a kiss on the forehead, trying not to wake her up, then we both climbed into Draco's bed and said goodnight to each other, before I turned around, my back facing him.

A couple of minutes went by and I couldn't fall asleep so I turned around to see if Draco was asleep or not. As I turned around I saw that he was facing me, but with his eyes closed.

As if sensing my eyes on him, he opened up his eyes to see me staring at him. I awkwardly looked away but he put his hand on my face and pulled me towards him.

His lips immediately met mine and danced together. This was very different to the last time we kissed, over a year ago now. It wasn't rough and passionate, it was more slow and sweet, like it actually meant something.

After a few seconds we pulled back, he spun me over and pulled me to him so my back was against his chest. He wrapped his arms around my waist and we both fell into a deep, blissful sleep.
