Wooyoung glances at me.
Wooyoung: Are you okay? You seem distracted.
Oh I'm very distracted.
Me: I'm fine.
The thing is Wooyoung wanted to see the Batman, and as a Robert Pattinson simp I was more than happy to. However this movie is roughly three hours long. I'm pregnant and have to pee a lot not to mention my three baby fathers are two rows behind us being stalkers.
I try to settle my nerves and just focus on the movie, someone "coughs" and a piece of candy conveniently hits the back of Wooyoung's head. He turns around to find the culprit but nothing.
Wooyoung: I swear something just hit me.
Me: Really? That's odd.
We both look back at the movie and I just pray silently those bozos cut it out. Popcorn flies over my shoulder landing on my leg.
I'm going to kill them.
Me: I'm going to the bathroom.
Wooyoung: Okay.
As soon as I'm sure he's not paying attention anymore I stop by the row on my way out. I point to the three culprits and they try to hide behind their buckets of popcorn.
I practically drag them out ignoring all the stares and whispers. Once we're in the hallway the brightness annoys my eyes but I still glare at the three stooges.
Me: What the hell are you doing here?
Haechan: Seeing the Batman, what're you doing?
Me: Together?
Jungkook scoff.
Jungkook: Is a crime for us to be friends?
Me: At the same time as me? The same show as me?
Jungkook: Don't be so self centered Jasmine.
I'm going to choke him.
Changkyun: We see your here with laundry boy.
Me: His name is Wooyoung.
Haechan: Oh flower boy.
Me: He's a nice guy so would you guys stop throwing stuff!
Jungkook: We didn't throw, we tossed!

"Jasmine?"
Oh fuck me.
Woosung and Jaehyun both smile at me as I wave shyly.
Jaehyun: What a coincidence running into you here.
Coincidence my ass Rocky is going to have to meet me at the yellow line.
They look at Jungkook no doubt remembering him from that day.
Woosung: Ah, what's up man?
Jungkook: Sup.
Oh this is not what I need right now.
Me: What movie are you guys seeing?
Jaehyun: Jujutsu kaisen zero.
Me: Oh wow I'm jealous. I wanted to see that.
Haechan: Liar you hate anime.
My eye twitches.
Woosung: If it's good maybe we can go see it a second time, you included.
Changkyun: What in the polygamy?
They both smile at me before walking off.
Haechan: Like a dog in heat.
Me: Fuck off I don't need you three judging me every step of the way.
Changkyun: We're just here to make sure he doesn't do anything weird.
Me: He's a good guy.
Jungkook: You don't know how to pick them because if you did we would've never been in the running for your child's father. We're all walking red flags!
Haechan blinks.
Haechan: Except me! I was actually her boyfriend.
Changkyun: An ex she slept with, red flag.
Me: I don't have to stand here and listen to you all cry about me being on a date. The baby is fine and so am I. You can leave now.
Jungkook shakes his head.
Jungkook: We're going to finish Batman.
Haechan: Do we really have to though? Three hours is crazy.
I hate them.

Maya listens to me rant and rave about the boys' behavior as she cleans the shrimp and chicken for tonight's dinner. I've been going on and on so much my inner-self is telling me to shut the fuck up but I can't.
Maya: I agree they're going about it the wrong way but there's also nothing wrong with them being concern about the baby and possible harm.
Me: So your on their side?
She looks up at me.
Maya: Did you not hear my first sentence?
Me: Everyone knows the first sentence goes out the window once the word but is followed by it.
She sighs.
Maya: Okay so why don't you fight fire with fire.
Me: Hm?
Maya: Jungkook and Changkyun are popular on campus right? If they want to cockblock you then you pussyblock them.
My grin stretches across my face like the grinch. She's right!

Like clockwork Jungkook, Taehyung and Jimin have a group of girls around them. I can't lie I had a little more extra energy this morning so I put a little more extra into my appearance.
Pregnant or not I'm still a pretty gal, don't forget it!
I push through the little group and of course they scoff and curse Jungkook looks at me and his eyes widen. He sees the sparkle in my eye and immediately begins to panic.
Me: Watcha' doing?
Jungkook: Jasmine.
Me: Jungkook.
I smirk and he shakes his head slowly.
Jimin: I'm Jimin!
I giggle.
Me: I know, I'm Jasmine nice to meet you.
Taehyung: I'm Taehyung.
I glance at the group of girls who are not happy with me.
Me: Friends of yours?
Jimin: Um, sure.
Me: Ah yeah? What's their names?
He rubs the back of his neck nervously.
Jimin: You got me.
The group of girls all storm away.
Jungkook: What're you doing here?
Me: I came to see my friends Jimin and Taehyung.
Jungkook pulls me away as both the boys laugh.
Jungkook: Is this payback?
Me: In a sense, yes.
Jungkook: Okay I'm sorry. I'll admit we have been going a bit overboard.
Me: A bit?
Jungkook: A lot.
I nod.
Jungkook: Are you craving anything? I'll buy you something from the cafe.
I grab his hand and practically run to the place. He buys me a small container of chocolate doughnut holes and himself a matcha tea.
We both sit at the table talking about school. Jungkook at first glance isn't what he's perceived to be. His life may seem perfect but he's just like any other college boy. He's figuring himself out just like the rest.
"Jungkook hey!"
I look and it's the girl Clover he told me about. Her father is also in the political groups so I'm not surprised she knows him. Their families run in the same circles after all.
Jungkook: How are you?
Clover: I'm great, and you?
Jungkook: Good. This is my friend Jasmine.
She smiles.
Clover: Nice to meet you.
Me: Likewise.
Clover: I was coming to ask are you going to the mayor's luncheon this weekend?
Jungkook: More than likely, are you?
She nods.
Clover: My dad is really insisting I try again with Changkyun.
I choke on my doughnut and Jungkook pats my back.
Jungkook: Changkyun is a solid dude. Once his mind is made up it's made up.
Clover: My dad doesn't want to hear that and God forbids I don't listen to him.
She looks at me again and bows.
Clover: I'm so sorry. I'm intruding when you guys are clearly in the middle of something.
Me: It's no big deal, want a doughnut?
Clover: No thanks, I'm dieting.
I shrug before stuffing my mouth.
Clover: See you this weekend Jungkook, nice meeting you Jasmine.
I wave as she walks away.
Me: She's so poise and pretty! Changkyun should give her a chance.
Jungkook laughs.
Jungkook: I don't think poise is his type.
Me: Then what is?
Crumbs fall down my shirt and into my bra making me frown. I look up and Jungkook is too busy laughing.
Jungkook: The complete opposite.
