That bed was beyond comfortable, Jungkook had to literally drag me out of it this morning. Imagine my surprise when I see Jin cooking breakfast dancing around in blue pajamas with alpacas all over it.

Me: Um, goodmorning?

He screams making me scream.

Jungkook: Noisy!
Jin: Shut up, I'm almost done making breakfast. Can you guys be so kind to set the table?
Me: Of course.

I put out three plates and silverware while Jungkook grabs the cups and jug of orange juice. Once we serve up our plates we sit at the table eating. I've always been a pancakes over waffles kinda girl but the way Jin made these waffles makes me want to change my mind.

I pour syrup over my waffles and eggs, Jungkook and I make eye contact and he begins to chuckle.

Jungkook: I give up.
Jin: He was trying to get you to do the whole healthy thing being pregnant?
Me: Yes!

Jin bites his bacon shaking his head.

Jin: That won't do Kookie, I've heard pregnancy cravings are one of those things you can't stop.
Me: You heard correctly! And I'm rarely ever craving fruits or almonds.

Jungkook gasps.

Jungkook: They were walnuts not almonds!
Me: Oh well excuseeee me!
Jin: My friend's bakery sells really good walnut cake though! You should stop by sometime. I run away there whenever my father and his business endeavors annoy me.

Oh I love a good walnut cake.

Me: Will do!

After breakfast I freshened up and got dressed. I thanked Jin a hundred times for his hospitality and he just kept giggling.

Me: See you later Jungkook!

He waves.

Once I'm home I take a more detailed shower. There's still days where I can't believe I'm going to be a mother. I'm going to be in charge of another human.

I'd be lying if I said the thought didn't terrify me. I'm trying to hold it together for everyone but everyday I feel my mind slip more and more.

After my shower I get in bed and put on some Disney movies for background noise as I attempt to take a nap. My phone dings and I ignore it.

I hear banging and groan. What's a girl gotta' do to take a nap? I whip open the door to see a flushed Haechan. He storms into the house and I close the door eyeing him weirdly.

Haechan: I told my parents.

Oh God.

Me: And what did they say?
Haechan: Well, they weren't thrilled. They hammered me with a bunch of questions. Am I staying in school? How will I provide? Does your parents know? Where is the baby going to live?
Me: Ugh enough you're messing with my anxiety now.

He groans sitting down on the couch.

Haechan: I knew this would happen so I can't be too mad. It could be worse, they weren't happy but they weren't mad either. More so concerned maybe?

They should be concerned because this group of parents don't know if we're coming or going half the time. I can't fault them for that because I know my parents are going to react the same way if not worse.

Me: Did you tell them the maybe part?
Haechan: Hell nah!

Seen that coming.

Haechan: I made sure to tell them not to go telling your parents because they don't know yet.

Me: Thanks, that'd be super humiliating if they found out from someone thats not me.
Haechan: For sure.

I smile, he's still stressed and all over the place but he still managed to look out for me. Ex-boyfriend or not he'll always be one of my best friends.

Me: Are you hungry?
Haechan: I assume you are?
Me: I'm trying to be nice!

He laughs before nodding.

Haechan: 떡볶이 (tteokbokki) sounds good.
Me: With lots of beef on the side I agree!
Haechan: Being pregnant has made you a carnivore.

His eyes look me up and down.

Haechan: Are you going to change or?

I look down at my pajama shorts and oversized bleached up concert t-shirt.

Me: Do I have to?
Haechan: Yes!

Food has became so much more enjoyable now that I'm eating for two. Did I start liking kimchi? No, I still hate it. But I've read people tend to crave things they don't eat when they're pregnant.

Jungkook got me a bunch of pregnancy books which in the beginning I thought was insane but now I'm actually happy he did because to be honest I don't know what I'm doing. Just vibes!

Haechan: So how did the dinner go?
Me: Oh my gosh Jin is amazing. He's so supportive.
Haechan: Don't fall in love now, that'll complicate things more.

I wave a dismissive hand.

Me: No seriously he was so calming and gentle to be around. I can see why Jungkook loves him. Plus he's an amazing cook.
Haechan: Is he amazing or were you hungry?
Me: Both!

Lemon ice tea is God's gift to the earth. It's going to do it for me every time. In the midst of me indulging I see the girl known as Clover.

She's a few tables over chatting with a group of friends. Up closer I can see all her features and she's very beautiful. It makes me wonder how much stress Changkyun is really under with this whole force relationship deal.

Her and I make contact briefly before I look away.
