Gee knocked on my door as I packed my clothes but I didn't open it .. I didn't know where I was going but I planned on leaving !!

"Baby !! Dont make me break this door down .. again !!" Gee yelled from the other side

I had bags full of clothes, a bag full of shoes, & a bag full of money that Gee had given me over the years !! I grabbed all of them and opened the door .. Gee stared me up and down ..

"Where you going with those ?" He asked

"You live your life .. and I live mine, ok !!" I walked past him and headed downstairs

"What's that suppose to mean ?" He followed behind me

"It's obvious who's more important and it's enough room for me and her here so she can have it !!"

"Take your stuff back upstairs baby, and stop bein so damn dramatic !!"

"Can I use one of your car's ?" I asked

Gee frowned at me "No, I told you you ain't goin nowhere .. your ass dont even got a license !!"

"Well I'll call a taxi" I walked past him

"You ain't doin shit .. sit down some damn where !!" He followed me into the kitchen

"Whether you let me leave or not tonight .. I'm gonna leave eventually !! So we can do this the easy way or hard way .. you can give me a car & know I'll be safe .. or I can taxi hop through NewYork with strangers !!" I replied folding my arms

Gee stared at me .. I could see his jaw bones clenching together masking his anger, but I didn't care !! He reached in his pocket and tossed me the keys to his Porsche ..

"All this because I forgot your birthday ?" He asked

"No .. it's much more than because you forgot my birthday !! But you don't see the big picture though" I walked past him and grabbed my bags then headed outside to his Porsche

I put my bags inside as Gee watched me from the door .. I started the car and headed to a hotel .. After checking into the four seasons hotel I laid back in the bed and realized I was about to spend my birthday alone !! For the first time ever I was alone on my birthday .. making the decision that I would at least enjoy it I planned on going out since I was still dressed anyways ..

I checked my hair and make up then I grabbed my .22 Gee gave me after the incident .. I tucked it into my clutch bag and headed out the door ..

I googled the hottest club in NewYork until I found the closest one to me .. The parking lot was packed and a crowd of people were standing around outside .. after giving myself a pep talk I put my keys inside my bag and went inside .. It felt like all eyes were on me, I made my way over to the bar to order me a drink .. with every thing that was going on I needed one desperately !!

"Can I got a couple shots of Grey Goose" I yelled over the music

The bartender glared at me skeptically "You got some ID ?" He asked

"No !!"

"No alcohol for you then !!" He said wiping the bar down with a towel

"Yo, Murray give her a drink .. it's on me" I heard a voice say ..

I looked next to me to see this guy peeling off a few hundred dollar bills from his wad of cash then tossing it across the bar ..

He had caramel skin, light brown eyes, a fresh fade, and perfect set of white teeth .. His muscles were damn near bulging out of his crisp white tee .. Tatoos graced his arms, along with a iced out rolex !!

"Just add it to my bill" he said before looking at me again and licking his lips

I turned my attention back to the bartender ..

"Yo, man you tryin to get me fired ?" The bartender asked

"Give the girl her damn drink !!"

He had so much authority in his voice he even gave me goosebumps, the bartender must've felt the same way because within seconds I had not only two but 3 shots of Goose in front of me ..

I cleared my throat "Thank you !!" I said before downing my shot

"You welcome ma, what's your name ?"

"Ba-- I mean Tia" I replied

"You giving me a fake name ?" He asked smiling

I laughed "No, I almost said baby .. that's my nickname !!"

"Well Tia, I'm Jaceon" he said smiling at me

"Thank you again Jaceon" I smiled back

"You here alone ?" He asked

I hesitated "Kind of .. I'm waiting on a friend !!" I lied

"Well while you wait .. how about you come upstairs to VIP with me .. " He took a shot while waiting for my answer

"Umm .. ok .. sure" I said

I downed my last two shots before sliding off of my seat .. Jaceon grabbed my hand and we headed up to VIP ..
