Dre's POV

- Remember how when I moved here from Louisiana two years go he was the one who showed me around the school when my guide -

Lemme get to the real reason why y'all here. The story behind how Clay and I first met because due to contrary belief, Clay and I's relationship with each other didn't actually start a few months ago. It started 2 years ago when I first moved to Atlanta.

I was driving at about 180mph and I swear I got pulled up about two/three times by the cops before I finally decided to slow down to the proper speed limit. We'd recently moved here from Louisiana so since I was starting a new school my big brother thought it would be a good idea to borrow me his Red Ford Mustang for a few days until I was sorted with transportation.

At first I said no of course and asked why he couldn't just take me himself since he had nothing to do all day but he kept making up lame ass excuses - guess he just wanted me to show off on the first day... His hood like that, because unlike me he grew up right here in Atlanta with my grandma since my parents and I used to move around a lot when we were younger.

As I pulled up to the school I began driving slowly, and cruised through the school's parkinglot until I could find a spot. The place seemed crowded at first because there were tons of parked cars and students walking around everywhere so at some point a part of me began thinking that maybe I'd never be able to find a spot until I finally did. - it was a tight squeeze but I managed to get car in.

After parking, I grabbed my book bag and stepped out of the car.

And I gotta be honest with y'all I'm not usually a show off but today I was really feeling myself. I had on a pair of black skinny jeans, a black T-shirt and my new pair of purewhite Air Nikes, to top it all of I wore pair of black shades I found in my brothers glove box.

I noticed how everyone's eyes were on me as I made my way from the parkinglot to the building and to be honest a part of it felt awkward but at the same time it made me feel like a boss ass nigga.

- I was breaking necks all over the scene and no one could stop me.

Reaching the school building I had to find my way to the Administrations Office where I was supposed to fetch my Schedule for the term.

Admittedly even though I was feeling like a boss at first my mood quickly faded as I spent almost 20 minutes wandering around the school and I still couldn't find the AO.

Not knowing a single person here my pride wouldn't let me ask anyone around for help so I chose to wander around the school until I got too lost to even find my back to the entrance.

"Pardon me young sir you look kinda lost, do you know where you're headed?" I turned around to see a short old looking lady, with grey hair and wrinkly skin ask me.

"Ehh, whatcha say?" I asked back because I kinda had my earphones on when she stopped me so I hardly heard a word she had to say.

"AAA-RRR-EEE YYY-OOO-UUU LLLL-OOO-SSS-TTT?!!!?????!!?!??!!" she then leaned closer and yelled into my ear.

Like nooo lady don't do that!!! I'm lost not fucking deaf, geez!

"I'm looking for the Admin Office, can you help?"

" Of course! Follow me...I just happened to be headed there myself so count your lucky stars because if it wasn't for me you would have been wandering these halls for years before you found the place..." she stated as I followed her.

"To start off, you weren't even on the right floor my dear. The Admin is on the 3rd floor not the first and secondly..., secondly... Hmm I seem to forget have forgotten what the second thing was but anywho I guess it wasn't important or else I would have remembered."

"Dang, for real ma'am?"

"For real, and speaking of accents where are you from if I may ask?"

"Louisiana, I just transferred here from there."

"Interesting... You know I have a cousin from Louisiana I wonder if you know her, shes a really nice lady although I don't really like her that much to be honest. She's always been a bit of a snob if you don't mind me saying. Always acted like she had a stick up her behind growing up. - guess she never heard of Southern Hospitality huh?"

Ehhh WTF!? *giggling*

"Yes, ma'am I guess not." I then replied continuously giggling as lowkey as possible.

"Hmm so you have a sense of humour, good!"

She then continued to chatter on, and on as we made our way there and honestly speaking I found her kind of funny. She almost had me tearing up with laughter by the time we got to the AO.

"Well anywho, this is it, the Administration's Office. Just go in, give them your name and they'll do the rest for you. Okay, sound simple enough?"

"Yes ma'am, thank you very much." I said as I walked into the room leaving her behind by the door."

I then cautiously made my way to the receptionist lady to introduce myself to her.

"Eh, morning ma'am. I'm Dre Houston the transfer student...I was told to come here and you'd be able to help me."

"Eh - Who told you that?" she asked with a concerned look on her face.

"Eh some lady I was with a couple of seconds ago"

"Do you know her name?"

"Eh, not necessarily"

"Her last name?"

"Nope"

"Well can you perhaps describe her?"

I then looked back thinking that maybe I'd be able to point her out real quick but then she was gone.

WAIT, WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH HELPING ME?

"Well she's a bit short, has grey hair and she's kind of old I guess. - wrinkled skin and all."

"Well that's not really giving me much to work with is it?"

"Eh, im sorry but maybe I was not clear wbout why I'm here. I here for my Term Schedule so I was told that you'd be the one to print it out for me."

"Oh really now, ME!" she asked with a shocked expression on her face.

"Well not you, you but yes you. I mean I was just told to come here okay, nothing else!"

"Well then I don't know anything about a new transfer student arriving today so how about you go back to whoever sent you and tell them they were mistaken."

Ehh wait, what?? She can't be serious right?

Shock ran through my face as I looked her dead in the face.

"Wait hold up, WHAT?"

"Well you aren't appearing on the system and you obviously seem to be clueless about a thing that's going on in your life so yes sir, I suggest you go find whoever sent you here and ask them to come and assist you." she said after typing on her screen for a couple of seconds, I'm assuming she must have been searching for my name.

"You can't be serious?" I asked trying to stay calm even though deep down my heart felt like it was pumping more blood than the Jelly in Kim Kardashian-West's ass.

"Please tell me this is somekind of joke or one big misunderstanding."

"Sir this isn't a circus. Do you see any Juggling monkeys around?" she asked raising her right eyebrow at me.

"Well, non of it makes sense to me to okay! I was told my transcript went through and that I would be starting on Tuesday which is today so..."

"Well sir I'm telling you that you must be mistaken because you arent on the system okay!! Do I need to call security or someone to assist you in seeing yourself out?"

I then turned around and slowly began to make my way out of the room before I heard a call telling me come back.

"Wait - hold up. I was just messing with you. You can relax, you definitely are on the system and We've been expectimg you for some time now" she then said as she laughed along with the two other people who were sitting by the receptionist area with her (a man and a woman).

WAIT WHAT THE FUCK! THEY CAN'T BE SERIOUS, THAT'S SO UNPROFESSIONAL...

I walked back to desk to listen to what she had to say and to be honest a part of me felt like slapping the shit out of her wretched ass soul as she explained herself.

"Look it's simple, your schedule was printed out earlier today by Ms. MacGonical so all you need to do is go to her office right through the door down the hall to your left, knock and she'll help you get sorted into the school, okay?" she then explained.

"A'ight!" I then replied to her before turning around and walking out of the office.

I swear you could still hear their wretched asses giggling from down the hall, so so unprofessional.

Getting there I then knocked on the door and awaited a response.

"Please do come in" I heard a familiar voice call out.

"Ms MacGonical?" I asked opening the door slowly.

"Yess dear! Come in, come in."

After entering, I soon saw a familiar face to go along with the familiar voice I was hearing. It turns out that the old lady I was with earlier, the talkative one who showed me to the AO was Ms MacGonical.

I then closed the door behind me and continued to walk into the room, still approaching slowly caution because honestly I had no fucking idea what was going on int this school.

"What's wrong dear? you look like you've seen a ghost, have a seat."

"Ehh it's just that I'm surprised" I said whilst slowly taking a seat.

"About what?"

"You ma'am, I guess I just wasn't expecting you to be the person I was supposed to report to for assistance."

"Well you are looking for Ms. MacGonical aren't you?"

"Yes, Yes I am."

"Good and you're hear for you Term Schedule I presume?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Good, okay then let's get started" she said as she fiddled through some papers on her desk like she was looking for something.

"Oh excuse the mess, I've been quite busy since last week so my work load has just pilled up all over my office....Oh yes here it is." she said pulling out a thin blue file from underneath a few papers.

"This is your Schedule for the term" she said handing me the file.

"It's quite simple to understand of course, all you have to do is..." she spoke on and on whilst directing me to certain parts of the file as I stared at the schedule trying my best to follow everything she was saying.

"Understand?" she then asked lowering her glasses to look me straight in the eyes as I answered.

" Yes Ma'am"

"Good, now run along your first class starts in a few minutes - okay!"

"Okay - thank you!" I said as I cautiously got up from my seat and slowly made my way to the door, still checking the schedule one more time.

I'd been so focused on it that I didn't even notice how slow-like I was actually moving.

"Are the any problems with the schedule?"

"Ehh no ma'am, sorry." I then said rushing out of her office, closing the door behind me.

- Author's Note -
Initially the Flashback story about how Dre and Clay met was only supposed to be one chapter long but then as I was writing the chapter became way too long which made me realise that I'd have to cut it into different parts. In conclusion this means that the next few chapters are gonna take place in the year 2017 for a while.
