A/N: this chapter is unedited, so i apologise if it's poorly written! I promise the chapters will get much better than this!

( play the song above when there is a * )

I look around in awe at all the city lights, the cars, the people and i feel small. I have always loved this city, i was born and raised here my whole life and i don't know any other life. I look to my right and a lonely, beautiful cloud hangs in the night sky. It's my usual evening walk, from one end of town to the other. My favorite time is when the sun is setting, people are tucked up in their homes, the shops are closing and the world is ready for bed.

The streets are quiet, no cars are driving and the only sound I can make out from a few blocks away is a child's laughter and the local news blaring on the radio.

I find myself forgetting all my worries and troubles as i take slow and short steps with my hands in my pockets, shielding them from the cold breeze.

After my encounter with the stranger yesterday, of which his name i still don't know. I went back to Abby and sat the rest of the night on a couch whilst sipping on beer. I watched her dance and grind all over Jake, as she whispered things into his ear he grabbed her ass and kept his eyes glued onto her cleavage. I couldn't help but roll my eyes at the fact this was going on the whole night. But when i told Abby i wanted to go, she made a nasty comment brushing me off and shoved more alcohol into my hand whilst telling me to wait.

I looked for any sign of the stranger for the rest of the night, but it was like he had vanished. So i ended up forgetting about him, and gathering that he had just gone home.

Clearing my head of my thoughts, i continued walking. I watched owners lock up their shops and i saw people walking their dogs before bed. And i smiled at how quiet it was and how beautiful the sunset looked. For a second it reminded me of the morning i met the stranger, i ache to know his name. I don't know what it is that itches at me to know his name, perhaps it's his mysterious presence, or his cold interior but i wanted to know the name of the stranger i helped and couldn't get out of my mind.

Maybe if i found out his name, i'd be able to move on knowing i now know and won't be bothered by it again.

An idea pops into my mind and i pull out my phone, going onto the messages app and clicking Abby's name, before typing out something very unusual of me.

Me-
Hey, do you know if there are any big parties coming up? If you're going can i come with you?

Abby-

Yeah Saturday there is one at Keith's house.

Abby-
i guess you could come with me lol.

I send back a thumbs up and put my phone back in into my pocket. I decide its time to turn around and begin to make my way home.

\\\

Saturday comes round quite fast, I only have 30 minutes before Abby is here and knocking at my door. I rummage through my closet, looking for something decent to wear.

When my floor is covered with clothes and my closet is no longer organized i decide to just wear a simple black leather skirt with a cropped green noodle strap top. My eyes scan my room and i sigh at the mess, i dreaded cleaning it later.

I stumbled over my clothes as i made my way to the big mirror leaned against my wall. I slightly smirked at my outfit, its slightly out my comfort zone but i felt confident in it. I stumble back over the clothes to my dresser and put on my black heels. I look at myself in the mirror one last time and fix my hair.

Two loud knocks echo through the apartment and i quickly pick up the rest of my belongings. I open the door revealing Abby, she had her hands in her hair as she looked down at her phone. She glanced up at me before taking her time taking in my outfit. She rolls her eyes before speaking up.

"You look...okay" She comments with an disgusted expression painted on her face. I scoff.

"Lets just go, can't keep Jake waiting." I reply sending her a sarcastic smile before slipping my way past her and walking away with her on my tail.

When we are outside, there stood Jakes car. Just like expected music blasted out and around the car.

Abby sat in the front seat and i sat in the back once again, luckily his friends were not in the car today leaving me in the back alone. Thankfully.

On the way there, i decided that even if he's not there and i might never know his name i will try to enjoy my night because despite Abby's nasty looks i still felt good about myself tonight. I also decided that if i still don't know the strangers name tonight, i will move on and forget about him.

I don't realise how lost in my thoughts i have been until the car is pulling up at the house. Just like Jakes house, it is rather large with big windows and a fountain in the front of the house. Whilst the party has already started people are still just only pulling up.

I under estimated how many people would be here, its as if the whole city is here. The house already looks crowded but about 15 more cars are pulling up.

I follow Abby who is attached onto Jakes side into the house. Disco lights reflect onto peoples faces and skin whilst they dance. Some are outside partying and drinking, whilst some are sitting down on the stairs and chatting.

"Isabella June, am i right?" A man's voices shouts over the blaring music. When i turn around, i am met with a young man. He has a really surfer good looks, unshaven stubble is on his face along with his messy blonde hair. His muscular arms are bulging in every direction, with his blue jeans and tshirt. He is just fine.

"Yes, that's me" I joke and let out a awkward chuckle whilst also awkwardly fixing my hair.

"Im Keith" He says, i am taken back by the fact the host of the party is speaking to me. He takes in a breathe before talking again.

"I got you a drink" He offers me the alcohol, but i have watched to many movies and know not to take a drink from practically a stranger. I shake my head before replying.

"I'm okay." I smile, he chuckles.

"Understandable, dance then?" He offers one more time, i am about to say no when i stop myself.

You are here to have fun Isabella, don't be afraid.

I smirk and nod, he takes my hand and leads me to the dance floor. Placing his hands on my waist we dance to whatever song is playing that i don't recognise. He moves his body well with the beat, its like he has done this many times before. I start to feel relaxed and at ease, i begin to enjoy myself as i make some small talk with Keith and dance to every song that comes on.

"You're a really good dancer." I tell him as the song slows down for a second.

"I've had a lot of practice." He replies with a smirk plastered on his face.

"Oh really?" I ask showing my interest in the conversation. If a guy is going to be this flirty at a party then he must be a player.

"We'll if you stick around for a little longer i'll show you just how good i am." His expression goes from flirty to serious. He looked determined.

*

I shrug and smile. Its not like i have a curfew or anything. I agree to one more song and a few drinks from Keith.

The song Or Nah begins to play and i feel my hips begin to sway from left to right, Keith turns me around so my back is now touching his front, he firmly holds my hips as we continue dancing to the rhythm.

As i lip-sync the song lyrics, i feel a pair of eyes on me. I look around the room until my eyes met his. He sat on a couch with a few girls around him who were giggling and admiring the stranger. His legs were spread out and a cigarette rested between his lips. His head was slightly downturned while he maintained eye contact.

I continued to dance as we stared into each others eyes, i felt goose bumps forming on my skin and time felt like it was slowing down as he blew smoke and trailed his eyes down my body. His face showed no emotion other than his eyes were slightly narrowed making me feel as if i was standing naked in front of him.

The song began to come to an end, and now that he was here and looking at me like that i felt nervous to ask for his name. I felt silly knowing its just a name, but he was so intimidating its like he knew i wanted to ask for it. And as Keith removed his hands off me and i forced myself to peel my eyes of the stranger and turn to Keith, i wondered if he wanted to know my name just as much as i wanted to know his.

I excuse myself, and walk over to the drinks taking a few shots. After few more shots i feel hammered and the euphoria feeling begins to kick in.

"Isabella!" Abby shouts for me over the music, she seems absolutely out of it as she bumps into people and chairs to get to me.

"Come meet my friends!" She shouts again and begins to drag me to them. I stumble behind her as the room begins to spin.

When the pulling comes to an end, i almost go sober when i see him. He's sitting in the same position, only now he does not have cigarette in his hand but a glass of alcohol.

"H-Hi" i stammer trying to sober up and stand up straight. His friends look rather scary, all very buff and tall. Mostly all of them have tattoos all over their skin and a girl on their lap.

He only grins at me as he watches me hold onto Abby for support. I feel like i'm gonna be sick, the room is spinning and the disco lights reflecting onto his skin only trip me out more.

"She's a lightweight, it's kind of funny watching her embarrass herself." Abby giggles, batting her eyelashes at the stranger. He only hums and sits up straight. I'm lost for words when he reaches his arm out and grabs my hand pulling me to sit next to him.

His hand holds mine very softly, like if he gripped it harder i would break. And when i sat next to him, there was that smell again. I felt like melting into the couch right there and then.

Abby only rises her eyebrows and sends me a death stare. I could smell the jealousy from here, and i couldn't help but grin to myself.

"I think you should go, Ally" his rich and deep voice speaks up next to me.

"It's Abby-" she corrects.

"Yeah yeah, whatever Ally." He sounds like he's desperate for her to leave. She loudly scoffs and stomps away, for the look out of Jake i suspect.

"Should i go too?" i drunkly ask and begin getting up. He grabs my thigh, forcing me to stay sat and looks at me.

"You're good, darling" He replies, resting his hand on my thigh for a minute longer before removing it.

I take the time he isn't looking at me to look at him. He had faint freckles on his nose and cheek that are only visible if you're up close to him. His nose is perfectly proportioned and he has a faint scar below his eyebrow. A few small moles are scattered on his jaw and neck.

"Done staring?" he smirks and looks back into my eyes with his blue ones.

"How old are you?" i blurt out, immediately regretting drinking tonight.

"Twenty" He quickly replies and chugs the rest of his alcohol before placing the glass on the table in-front of us and leaning into the couch.

"I'm nineteen, but you already knew that" I chuckle as the room around me spins. He only looks at me for a second before looking in front of him again. His friends loudly talk and laugh as i try build up the courage to ask for his name without puking all over him.

I watch one of the men spill out a line of white powder in-front of him and offer it. He leans down and sniffs it up his nose, before gently falling back into the couch once again.

His friend looks me in the eyes and smirks at me before checking me out and speaking up.

"Want some, baby?"

"No" the stranger firmly replies for me.

"What's you're name?" i blurt out again, and fight the urge to slap my hand over my mouth. He throws his head back to rest on the couch and rolls his head to face me. He scans my face before replying.

"What's yours?"

"If i tell you mine, will you tell me yours?" i ask slightly smiling. He pokes his tongue to his cheek before gently replying.

"Maybe"

"Isabella" i smile and rest my head like his so our faces are inches apart. He grins and looks at my lips before answering.

"Axel"
