I S A B E L L A

I held the baby blue bikini up in the air as i examined it, It was a simple bikini that was tied at the back and around the neck, the bottoms showed quite a lot of my butt and were also tied at the sides.

I slipped out of my clothes before putting it on, it took a minute to tie the bikini securely but i managed. I then stepped back until i could see my full frame in the mirror, it definitely showed a lot more cleavage.

I couldn't help but feel insecure, my flaws were always the first thing i noticed about myself and i hated it. It always took a minute to convince myself that i'm beautiful, that i'm brave and that it doesn't matter what others think before stepping out the room.

But i didn't get far, because the minute i opened the door there stood a 6'4 gorgeous man in nothing but black swimming trunks. I trailed my eyes all the way up his body, going painfully slow when i reached his beautiful tattoos and broad chest. And when i reached his face, his eyes were hooded as they looked down at me, he had slight bags under his eyes and his lips were pulled into a small smirk as his jaw slightly clenched.

You can't blame me for staring, Axel was gorgeous, so gorgeous that it sometimes became hard to breathe. And it wasn't always his looks, sometimes it was the way he carried himself, the way his presence made everyone around him pause and turn to look, the way everyone was cautions about how they acted around him, the way his look was so pure and real but yet so unreadable and plain.

I moved to the side, allowing Axel to walk into the room. I noticed how his hands shook as he rushed into the room and rummaged through each of the pockets in his clothing that laid resting on a chair, he then pulled out the small plastic bag filled with drugs and tried to hide it from me, but i had already noticed.

He took two short and fast steps to the dresser before pausing and turning to me, i gulped and looked down.

"What?" His voice was soft, but i could hear the slight irritation in his voice almost like he wanted me gone so he could continue what he was going to do. I looked up again, i smiled.

"Nothing." I said before slowly turning around and leaving. As i walked down the stairs, it suddenly clicked to me. It clicked to me how illegal these substances are, it clicked to me how i just let it slide past him because Axel made it seem as if it was normal. I never acknowledged how he could get into serious trouble for this if he got caught with them, instead i just watched him like it was nothing.

But i also knew that when it comes to Axel he didn't care about the consequences, he just lived his life with no rules.

When i made it to the bottom of the steps, Lucy was sat with Ethan and from the smile on her face it seemed like she was getting along with him. It reminded me to apologise to Lucy, i left her with men she doesn't know nor like.

I took it as my que to talk to her when Ethan got up and left. I rushed to her and sat down, she turned to me with a smile on her face.

"Hey love! You look stunning." She said, scanning me with her eyes. I blushed and thanked her before taking a moment to speak.

"I wanted to say sorry for leaving you, i felt bad saying no an-" I got cut off when she grabbed my hands and interrupted me.

"Stop it, dont worry love. Ethan and Kai are actually not bad, i think I'll get along with them." She smiled, then snaked an arm around my shoulder and hugged me. I nodded and smiled in relief.

I looked over to the kitchen, Ronan's, Noah's, Kai's and Ethan's back were all to us as they did their own thing, they were all shirtless and in there swimming trucks. I shook my head and slightly chuckled when i heard Ronan shouting at Kai for eating all the food.

I looked at Lucy, who wore a plain white bikini with little pink flowers all over them, and two towels on her lap. She took one and passed it to me.

"Here, i knew you'd forget a towel." She teased, i didn't argue because it was the truth. I packed everything but a towel.

A few moments later Axel sauntered down the stairs, he was now cool and collected different from when i saw him moments before where he was...panicked in a way and not himself.

Ronan walked out the kitchen as he bit into toast, he dropped next to me on the couch and snaked an arm around my shoulder.

He then offered me a bite from his already half eaten piece of toast, i smiled and bit into it before chewing and swallowing.

"What are we doing after the beach?" I ask, Ronan takes a bite into his toast.

"There's a bar by the beach and we always do a bonfire so we will probably stay there." He replied, twisting my hair around his finger.

Looks like i may have to deal with 5 drunk men tonight, if Lucy stays sober.

Axel drops into the chair in front of us, he spreads his legs and rest his hands in between them. He's quiet, his eyes are sunken and he's leaned back with his full body weight into the seat.

His eyes dart around the room, before they fix on me. He keeps them there, until i feel my stomach knot and shivers run up my spine, until it feels like he could see straight through me again, until he's forced me to forget anyone else is in the room and focus completely on him.

I watch him poke his tongue at the inside of cheek before his lips break out into a smirk knowing he's caught me staring at him.

We break eye contact when Ronan suddenly slaps his knees and stands up.

"Lets go party!" He shouts, taking his towel and  whipping it over his shoulder before taking my hands and pulling me up off the couch.

When i'm on my feet, Ronan is looking me up and down his hands still in mine.

"Damn pretty girl, look at you!" He hypes me up, spinning me around as i blush and giggle.

He places a quick friendly peck on my forehead before walking over to the rest of the boys who are gathering their stuff.

Lucy sends me a wink before walking off too the boys as well, leaving me and Axel the only ones who haven't moved.

Axel is still sat in the same position when i look over to him, his eyes however aren't focused on my face instead they are roaming all over my body, they held hunger and possession as they wondered all over my legs, then to my stomach, all over my breast and then up my neck before taking it in all over again.

I should walk away instead of standing here, but i couldn't help but like it when he looked at me that way, like all he wanted to do was rip off all my clothes.

I snapped out of it, shaking off all the nasty thoughts before walking away, but that still didn't stop me from feeling Axel's eyes everywhere.

"Axel ready too go, dude?" Ethan asked as we all stood by the door.

"Yeah." His deep voice was unexpectedly so close and loud i almost jumped, his breath tickled my neck and all of a sudden i felt his presence behind me, i sensed every little move he made. I smelt a spicy cologne mixed with cigarettes. He was right behind me.

Ethan nodded, turned the door handle and then stepped out the house as we followed him.

With towels in our hands, sunglasses either resting on our heads or noses and the sound of flip flops flopping we walked down the mini path that lead us to the beach.

Music blasting from the beach and the sound of chatter and waves crashing was already heard from the house.

When we reached the sand, i removed my flip flops before letting my feet touch the hot sand, i feel the sand squish slowly through my toes as we walking to a empty spot in the beach to place our stuff down.

Considering the beach is very packed today, we got a decent spot it was right in-front where the bonfire usually is and the bar was only a few steps away.

Lucy laid her towel next to me, Ronan laid his on the other side of me and by the time everyone had theirs down we were practically in a little circle, and of course Axel was right in-front of me.

"Fuck this sand is hot!" Ronan jumped on his toes to get to his towel where his flip flops were. He slid them on before falling down next to me, he layed on his back and used his elbows to keep him up.

It didn't take long before everyone was having they're own conversation, Lucy was actually getting along with the boys nicely. Well, except from Ronan.

Me and Axel were the only ones not speaking, whilst i was sitting listening into everyone conversation, Axel was trying to put suncream on his back which he was failing at miserably.

It was sorta cute, he looked lost in his own mind and concentrated at the same time as he tried to get his lower back. I smiled to myself and without thinking twice i got up and sat down next to him.

Axel turned his attention too me, pausing his actions.

"Do you need some help?" I asked, i smiled hard, i don't know why but i did, he just looked so cute right now.

"No." He softly replied, it was almost as if he was trying to sound as nice as possible but it didn't quite work.

I rolled my eyes before snatching the bottle full of suncream away from him. "Always so stubborn." I muttered, Axel slightly grinned at my words as i shifted my body to be sat behind him and pushed some suncream on too my hand.

The cream was cold on my fingers as i began to rub the cream into Axel's back. He didn't protest, he just allowed me to do my thing. He suddenly tensed and i heard him take in a sharp breath when i went over his sunburn, he was already so sunburnt and we have only been here for under an hour.

"I'm sorry." I apologised, continuing to massage in the cream but this time more gently over his sunburn.

I felt his hard muscles as i moved to his shoulders, i then got closer to the back of his neck where angel wings were tattooed into the skin, this tattoo stood out from the rest, not because it was quite bigger than the rest but because it was soft, all his other tattoos were dark and sad, this one was soft and the complete opposite from the rest of them, but in a odd way it complimented the dark ones.

"All done." I said, rubbing my hands onto my thighs trying to get rid of the excess.

"Thanks, Bella." He replied, a relaxed yet hard expression written on his face.

I however, had a puzzled expression on my face when Axel took the suncream bottle and squeezed out some into his hand. He looked up at me and then gestured for me to turn around.

He was gonna put suncream on me too.

Something so simple caused so many butterflies to erupt in my stomach i couldn't even hold in the big smile that followed after. Maybe it was because he was being so nice, he wasn't angry, he wasn't moody, he was just calm and simple and i liked that.

I turned around for him, and then moments later i felt his fingers and rings brush my neck as he moved my hair over my shoulder.

Goosebumps.

Goosebumps where all over my body and all i felt when he began to gently and slowly rub my back. The cream was cold against my skin as he moved to my lower back. He massaged so gently, like if he pushed any harder he'd burn me.

He rubbed my back in a comfortable silence, the only noise heard was people having conversations between one another, kids shouting and laughing, the sound of the sea and our friends who were all loudly speaking to one another.

Axel's fingers against my skin felt so nice, i felt like liquid under his touch, like i could melt right into him at any moment.

"Thank you, sweetheart." I thanked, when i couldn't feel his hands on my back anymore. The corner of Axels lips slowly turn up, revealing his white teeth and dimples.

It wasn't a smile, but it was so so close to that. It sort of felt like an accomplishment.

I got up and took careful steps not to step on anybody stuff as i tried getting back to my towel.

Ronan jerks up from his seating position, he stands tall in front of me and barley even gives me any time to think before i'm on his shoulders, his arms wrapped around my legs as he ran towards the water.

"Ronan!" I slapped his back, he pretended like he didn't hear me as he continued to run.

Even with a person on his shoulder he is freaking fast.

I look up and notice that everyone else is behind us laughing as they also run to the water.

Axel was walking though, i didn't miss how he was chuckling at me as i slapped and kicked for Ronan to put me down.

This is freaking betrayal.

I felt Ronan's body shake underneath me as he laughed before throwing me in the water, i sinked under splashing around before coming back up for air. 

I rubbed my eyes with my fingers before opening them, everyone was already in and i wasted no time to splash them all, especially Carrots.

We ended having a 5 minute long splash fight before getting tired and almost drowning. The sun was beginning to set, showcasing an ombré of purple, pink and orange in the sky.

We stayed in the water for a while, before getting out and drying off. I laid on my back watching as the clouds passed by and the sun set, beginning to reveal the bright white moon and stars.

"Anyone want drinks before the bonfire?" Kai asked, standing up. We all nodded in agreement.

"I'll have a beer please." Lucy said, receiving a nod from Kai. Everyone else also requested beer leaving only me to decide.

"What would you like, love?" Lucy asked, as Kai waited patiently for my answer.

I hummed. "I'll have a beer too then." I replied. "Please" I added.

Kai chuckled and then walked away, the sky was almost fully dark as lights began to turn on around the beach and in the bar. I watched the bonfire get set up as we all waited for our drinks.

Kai came back with 7 drinks handing them too each of us carefully before taking a seat himself. I took a sip, it tasted bitter and a tad bit sour.

I don't think i like beer.

Or alcohol that much.

I continued drinking, taking little sips as Axel was already on his 3 one by the time the bonfire was lit and everyone surrounded it. The music blared louder and so did the chatter.

The flames of the fire sparked, and heated us up as if this boiling weather wasn't enough. People didn't stay around that long for that reason, we all separated from the bonfire after a good 10 minutes.

By this point, all the boys and Lucy were gone as i sat watching the bonfire with the same glass of beer in my hand.

I got up, pushing myself off the sand as i made my way towards the bar. The bar was an open bar, it didn't have walls or a door around it, only a little roof to cover everyone. It looked like it was built out of bamboo sticks, and bright big pink flowers were on display.

I searched for my friends, until i eventually spotted Noah. He was sitting alone, his usually mean and scary expression plastered on his face as he watched Axel who was across from him surrounded by other guys who looked like gang members. They wore baggy loose clothes, backwards caps and big heavy fake chain on there necks.

Ronan suddenly appeared in the view, he spoke a few kind words to the gentleman who were sat down before pulling Axel up and dragging him away, Noah following them the whole time.

I began to amble my way across the bar to them as i watch Ronan wrap an arm around Axel's neck and bring him down to his height as he began to whisper shout.

"Sit down, brother" I heard Ronan's last words before he forced Axel to sit down by the bar into a stool.

"Is everything okay?" I asked with an eyebrow raised as i watched Axel closely.

He was drunk.

"Yeah everything is peachy, Lucy's with Kai at one of the tables if you want to go see her." Ronan tried his best to sound normal, but i could tell from his dilated pupils and heavy eyes he was tipsy.

Noah seemed to be fairly sober, so i had no problem leaving these two too check up on Lucy.

"Hey Love!" Lucy cheered when she noticed me. I pushed past them and sat in the middle chair, between Kai and Lucy.

"Whatcha doing?" I asked, pushing my chair slightly in.

"Nothing, just getting to know my new roommate more." Kai replied, taking a drag of his cigarette. I looked between them before nodding.

"Where's Ethan?" I knitted my eyebrows together causing them both to laugh.

"He went off with some girl." Lucy shrugged, falling back into her seat more.

"He better not bring her back." I giggled, shaking my head.

"No he fucking better not, i will kick them both out" Lucy trailed off.

I drank a few non alcoholic drinks and continued chatting with them, occasionally checking up on Axel who is by the bar having drinks and taking shots alone.

"We really should probably get everyone home, whilst they can still walk." Kai, who was sober spoke up. Me and Lucy both nodded in agreement.

"I'll go find Noah and Ronan, Lucy you go find Ethan and Isabella get Axel." Kai ordered us, Lucy let out a groan.

"If i find Ethan doing some nasty shit, i'm blaming you." She pointed at Kai before walking away, i chuckled, sent Kai a nod and made my way towards Axel.

He was taking a shot when i carefully sat down next to him, his head snapped in my direction as he swallowed.

"Hey." I softly said, cocking my head to the side slightly to get a better look at him. His eyes were tired and his head hung low.

He hummed in reply, i placed a hand gently on his arm that rested on the table. "Time to go home." I told him, he shook his head a few times.

"One more drink." He slurred, lifting his finger up to get the bartender's attention. I grabbed his finger, feeling his cold rings on my skin as i wrapped my hand around it and pushed his hand down.

"No more drinks." I stood my ground, he turned his head to me, groaned out load in a frustrated tone before shaking his head.

I pushed his hair back from his forehead slightly before standing up and grabbing his arm.

"Come on, home time buddy." I said, pulling him up off the stool so he's standing on his feet before interlocking our fingers together to help guide him.

"Don't call me buddy." He mumbled next to me, his body over towering me as we walked to get our stuff of the beach.

"Okay, sorry sweetheart." I apologised as i led him out the bar and onto the sand.

"That's better." Axel replied, when he slightly stumbled, i could feel his smirk from behind me.

When we got to where our stuff was, everyone else's belongings were already gone meaning they already have left. I sighed and bent down, keeping our hands interlocked as i grabbed both of our stuff and held it in the other hand.

We walked across the beach hand in hand, surprisingly Axel was quiet most of the way, lost in his drunk thoughts i suppose.

We went up the little path that lead us to our house, occasionally i asked Axel if he was okay which he only responded with a simple 'mhm'

When we got back to the house, i silently opened the door pulling Axel inside with me before locking it.

I managed to pull Axel slowly up the steps, and as we walked passed the bathroom the noises of vomiting and gagging were heard coming from inside.

I cringed as we continued walking down the hall and into our room, Axel was luckily easy to deal with as i sat him on his bed.

"Where are you're pyjamas?" I asked Axel, squeezing his hand a little to gain his attention.

"Somewhere in the bag." He whispered, i let go of his hand before getting to his suitcase and rummaging through it. I pull out some underwear and then spot some grey sweat pants.

I pick them up but before i could close the bag
