You were sleeping in your shared apartment with Stephen. Lately you've noticed that Stephen has been waking up in the middle of the night and then not going back to sleep.

You woke up when you heard the sound of someone gasping for air. You quickly reached over to where Stephen was sleeping and tried to calm him down. He sat up quickly and tried to calm down. He looked over at you and began to cry. You held him like his life depended on you.

"Hey, I'm here for you, you know that right? What happened?" You cooed as you held him to your chest.

"I keep seeing them." Stephen gasped for air and you rubbed his back.

"See who?" You asked making him look up at you.

"The outriders." Stephen responded in a low voice and that made you more curious.

"I may be Asgardian but what the hell is an outrider?" You asked.

He sat up and looked at you. You sat in front of him and grabbed his hands and kissed them gently. He smiled softly at you which made you smile.

"I'm not sure yet, but they are going to come soon. I swear I've seen them before in a dream." Stephen sighed as he rubbed you knuckles.

"Whatever it takes. We will fight them. The Avengers will go and defeat the outriders, and then we can all be in peace." You concludes making him chuckle at your cuteness.

"Sweetheart that's the thing. The outriders are working for a titan James Thanos. If the gets all infinity stones including the time stone which I have, then he could wipe out fifty percent of the universe with a single snap because of a gauntlet that is made for the infinity stones." Stephen explained and he saw that you became paler than usual.

"Wh-What? Lok-Loki has been telling me that he was controlled by Thanos when he attacked New York." You stuttered as you backed away from the bed so you could think.

You hear footsteps coming near you and you looked up to see your boyfriend. He hugged you making you quickly hug him back.

"When the time comes, we should be able to defeat him." Stephen whispered making you kiss his chest.

"Whatever it takes?" You asked with hopeful eyes.

"Yes sweetheart. Whatever it takes."
