This morning Olivia took Winter and I to look around her house, it was beyond beautiful. I kept trying to find negatives, but I was really struggling. The second you step into the hallway; you are met with the feeling of content. Her husband was working a nightshift, so he was sound asleep when we got there. But from the pictures I could see, he was very handsome, and his eyes looked kind which helped slightly. Winter was currently over there for a sleepover to see how she settled into the environment without me, and I was terrified. Part of me was comforted by the fact they both worked in professions that looked after children.

I was anxiously texting her every half an hour asking for a picture or an update. I just needed to know that she was safe and okay.

A small knock echoes my bedroom door before it swings open, my eyebrows knit together when I see Lucas stood there with moving boxes in his hands.

'Your mom let me in, she's very friendly.'

I groan as I take a box of him, 'What did she say?'

'Well, she kept asking if I had turned eighteen already. I think she was trying to flirt but she wanted to make sure that she didn't catch a case.'

I wrinkle my nose, 'That's fucking disgusting.'

'Don't worry, Love. I didn't flirt back.'

'I should fucking hope not.'

'Well, my mom asked for me to drop you off some more moving boxes.'

I raise an eyebrow, 'Is that the only reason you came?'

'No, I also wanted to check on you. You've been through a fucking lot, the last few days.'

I let out a shaky breath as I collapse onto my bed, 'I-I know and I can't even sleep it away.'

He frowns, 'Why?'

'I-I ran out of my fucking sleeping pills and I can't get my prescription until Monday because I'm an idiot, who doesn't re-fill before I run out.'

'Is there anything I can do to help?'

'Yeah, you can pack for me.' I joke as I rub my eyes, the exhaustion seeping in.

The dark-haired boy nods as he takes off his denim jacket and begins to look at the piles darted around the room, my eyes widen when he grabs a box and starts placing some of my items inside.

'I-I was joking.'

'Well, I'm not, you need to rest. Put something good on in the background while I pack.'

I smile fondly at him as a feeling of content pools in my stomach, I grab the remote for my tv and put on a murder documentary.

'Your mom is probably one of the nicest people, I've ever met. I don't know how you turned out to be such an ass' I murmur as I wrap my duvet around my body.

'You didn't think I was an ass when you asked me out on a date.'

I roll my eyes, 'I always think you're an ass.'

He places a hand to his chest, 'You've wounded me, love.'

'I'm sure you'll get over it.'

'I actually don't know if I will. Maybe I should find a girl who doesn't bully me instead.'

I narrow my eyes, 'Shut up.'

He gives me a cheeky grin, 'Don't worry, I'm not interested in finding any other girls.'

'Seriously?'

He laughs as a pink tinge covers his cheeks, 'Seriously, I'm not going to fuck this up before it even begins.'

I feel my heart stop at his words, 'Oh...well I'm glad.'

Lucas rubs the back of his neck, 'I know, we haven't really talked about Christmas eve, I just want you to know that I'm sorry that you didn't get the opportunity to tell me yourself and it hasn't changed how I feel about you, if anything it's made realise how strong you are.'

Holy fuck, I don't think my heart will ever recover from his words.

'H-How do you feel about me?'

His expression softens before a teasing smile appears, 'I'm not confessing my feelings for you before our first date.'

I raise an eyebrow as my chest leaps, 'So, they are feelings?'

He sighs loudly, 'There's been feelings since we went on that rain walk.'

I chew the inside of my cheek, 'I-I didn't even know if you felt the same way.'

'So, you have feelings for me, as well?'

I scoff, 'No, I ask all my friends out on a date. Of course, there is dumbass.'

A small smirk tugs on the corner of his lips, 'Well, when did you start to get feelings for me?'

'They started when we had that group sleepover.'

He snorts playfully, 'That's embarrassing, you started liking me first!'

I throw one of the pillows on my bed at his head, 'You literally like me back.'

He swiftly catches the pillow, 'Still...'

'I hate you.'

Lucas grins brightly at me 'No, you like me!'

I bury my face into my hands, 'I'm never going to live this down, am I?'

'No, you are not. But at-least you've prepared yourself.'

I yawn, 'Are you upset that I won't live as close anymore?'

'I've been crying myself to sleep since I found out.'

'I thought this would be the case.'

He laughs as he puts more of my stuff into boxes, 'No, the distance doesn't bother me, I'm happy to come up to see you, it's literally fifteen minutes, that's nothing.'

I purse my lips together, 'Just to triple-check, you don't mind waiting a little bit before our date?'

His hazel eyes roll, 'No, I don't mind. Love, I'll wait for as long as it takes.'

'But, why? You literally having girls falling all over you, plus I'm slightly concerned that you are a sex addict.'

A bark of laughter escapes from his lips, 'First of all, I'm not a sex addict. And I don't care about other girls, I care about you.'

Butterflies erupt in my stomach, 'W-Well, I would hope so.'

'By the way, I already have our first date planned so just give me the date and I'm ready to go.'

I perk up, 'You do?'

He shrugs, 'I've been planning it since our first boxing session.'

I bite my lip as a feeling of giddiness washes over me, 'Are you secretly a romantic?'

'Only for you, love.'

'Good, keep it that way.'

'Are you not going to ask about where I'm going to take you? I thought you hate surprises.'

'I usually do but the last surprise you gave me was pretty fucking good, so I trust you.'

'I know this is really selfish of me to say, but I wish I could hug you right now.'

My heart flutters, 'W-We can try?'

'I just don't want to push you.'

'Y-You aren't that's one of the reasons why I feel so safe around you.'

Lucas' face melts into a grin as he takes a step forward, I reach up and wrap my arms around him, I tense under his touch noticing this he begins to pull away, I shake my head as I clutch onto him tighter. His hands snake into my hair as rubs soothing circles onto the back of my head.

'Thank you for everything Luke.'

'Don't thank me for stupid shit.'

I laugh loudly as I pull away from him, 'You know, your mom literally says the same thing but without cursing.'

'I learn from the best, what can I say?'

A:N

This chapter was a little shorter, sorry!

Nearly fifty chapter later and they finally confess their feelings for each other!

But I just love these two dorks so much, I was thinking about this earlier do they remind you of any other fictional couples at all? As I've got inspiration from a few, so i was wondering if you could guess who?
