My eyebrows furrow together as there is frantic knocking on my front door, I put down the plate which was currently balancing my apple and peanut butter on it.

My body freezes as the knocking doesn't stop.

The knocks didn't seem light enough to be a female, so it had to be a male.

My hands begin to tremble as I advance towards the door, a wave of nausea washing over.

What if Kyle was pissed that I didn't go along with his plan? What if he sent Will over here to torment me?

I grab my phone prepared to dial 911, in-case that he was actually behind the door.  I hesitantly swing the door open; I drop my phone when I see a flustered Lucas standing there.

'Fucking hell, love. Do you know how long I was knocking for?'

I narrow my eyes, 'Why the fuck, do you knock so aggressively?'

'Because you don't fucking answer.'

I lean against my doorframe, 'What do you want?'

'Wow, don't sound too pleased to see me.'

'I'm not.'

'I'm here to take you to your secret Santa gift.'

I tilt my head, 'I-I thought that we were giving our gifts this evening.'

'We are, but I can't exactly bring your gift to the party.'

My heart leaps unexpectedly, 'D-Does that mean that you are my secret Santa?'

He chuckles softly, 'You catch on quick, don't you love?'

'S-So my gift, isn't a physical gift.'

He winces, 'Kind of, but you can't exactly keep it.'

'I'm really confused.'

'Just grab your coat, we are running late!'

'Alright, keep your pants on!' I snap, as I go towards my coat rack and grab my black-puffer jacket.

I roll my eyes as I watch him tap his foot impatiently, I walk towards him and leave my house, slamming the door behind me.

'Are you not going to say goodbye to your mom?'

'No, we don't really talk anymore.' I murmur as I climb into the passenger's seat of his car.

'Oh.'

'Are you going to give me any clue, on where you are taking me?'

He flashes me a quick smirk as he places his hand on the back of my seat before he starts reversing out of my driveway.

Why the fuck is it so hot when he does that?

'Come on! Just tell me.'

'It's a surprise.'

'I hate surprises.'

'Trust me, I don't think you are going to hate this one.'

My eyes widen as a small gasp escapes from my lips, 'Are you going to murder me?'

'No don't worry. I need you around.'

'Aw, you need me? That's so cute.'

He wrinkles his nose, 'Please don't call me cute.'

'Now, I know you don't like it. I'm going to call you cute all the time.'

'I feel like we've had this discussion before.'

I shrug, 'Probably.'

My eyebrows knit together as I notice us pulling into a practically empty diner parking-lot, on the outskirts of town.

'Did you buy me a diner?'

He laughs. 'No, the surprise is inside.'

'My brain is literally scrambled right now.'

'Let's just get your ass inside.'

I nod mutely before climbing out of his car, I wordlessly follow him inside. I scan the room, it was literally just a regular diner, with only a few people inside.

'AUTUMN!' A small voice cries out.

My heart stops as tears prickle the corner of my eyes, I whip my head around to see my little sister rushing towards me, with wide arms. I kneel down and catch her into a tight embrace. I plant numerous kisses into her hair, as a loud sob escapes my lips.

She pulls away from me with a wide grin on her face, 'I've missed you so much sissy!'

'I've missed you more, Winnie. I promise.'

My heart swells when I notice her blond hair in a high ponytail, she was wearing a pink jumper with a denim skirt along with stripy tights and yellow wellies.

'I'm so happy!'

I look up at Lucas with tears clouding my vision, his grin was nearly taking over his entire face.

'Y-You do this?' I croak out.

'Merry Christmas, Love.'

I tense slightly when I notice my Grandma approach us with a wary look on her face.

'Autumn.' She greets curtly.

'H-Hi Grandma.'

'Nice to meet you, Elsa.'

'And you Lucas, it's nice to put a face to your voice.'

'H-How did this happen?' I ask, as I stand up cradling Winter close to my chest.

'Shall we sit down? Then we can catch you up.'

I nod as Lucas leads us to an empty booth, he waits until my grandmother is in the booth before placing himself besides her. Winter clutches my hand as she scrambles down the booth.

'So, I-I couldn't figure out what to get you for secret Santa, then I remembered how much you've been missing your sister. S-So, I kind of went to your house when I knew you and Scarlett was out shopping for my birthday and I asked your mom, for your grandma's details.'

'B-But how did you manage to convince her?'

My grandmother coughs before speaking, 'H-He put up a very tough fight, I was completely against it at first. But then he began to talk to me about what a kind and caring person you are, like when you helped look for his sister when she went missing and how you made your friend comfortable enough to share his sexuality with you. A-And frankly, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The Autumn, I knew a few months ago, wouldn't have dreamed of doing any of this.'

My heart melts, 'Y-You said all that about me?'

'He also mentioned, how well you've been doing with your therapy sessions. A-And after several phone calls trying to convince me, I finally caved.'

A strangled sob escapes my lips, 'I-I can't believe you did all of this for me. I-I feel like I don't deserve any of this.'

Lucas' expression softens completely, 'Of course, you do.'

'Sissy, is the model, your boyfriend?' Winter pipes up.

I raise my eyebrow, 'The model?'

'Yeah, is he your boyfriend?'

I narrow my eyes as Lucas leans back with a large smirk on his face, 'N-No, he's just a friend.'

'I'm going to get you ladies something to drink. What would everyone like?'

'I would like a coffee, please.'

Winter looks at me with excitement sparkling in her eyes, 'Can we share a strawberry milkshake?'

I giggle softly, 'Of course, we can.'

'One coffee and one extra-large strawberry milkshake coming up.'

'With sprinkles!' The small blonde cries out as Lucas leaves the booth and begins to walk towards the counter.

'That boy really cares about you; I hope you realise this.'

'I-I know, he does. I care about him too.'

'Then, what are you waiting for? If this life has taught me anything, it's that it's too short! I waited years for your grandfather to confess how he felt about me. A-And now he's gone, I wish I would have had the courage to say something sooner, then I would have had all this extra time with him.'

I look down, 'I-I'm sorry that I didn't come to the funeral.'

She inhales a sharp breath, 'You will be forgiven, if you continue to work on yourself. You look a lot healthier than the last time I saw you. Happier too.'

I shrug, 'I-I started hanging out with different people.'

'Well, it suits you.'

Winter looks up at me, 'I love your hair! You look like the little mermaid!'

'Well, I love yours. It's almost has long as Rapunzel's now.'

She lets out a loud huff, 'I wish, Grammy says, I can't grow it any longer. It's too hard to brush!'

My stomach does somersaults as Lucas comes back to the table with two strawberry milkshakes and a coffee.

Winter's eyes almost bulge out of her head as he places one of the milkshakes directly in-front of her.

'Is this all mine?!'

'Of course, a princess shouldn't have to share.'

She flashes him a toothy-grin, 'Y-You think I'm a princess?'

'Oh, I actually have something for you that proves that you are a princess.' Lucas murmurs as he grabs something from his pocket.'

I feel my arm being grabbed excitedly, 'Sissy, what is happening?'

'I-I don't know.'

I feel my entire body melt, as he slides a piece of paper across the table, it was a pale pink print-out certificate, saying that Winter Martin is a certified princess. It was dated and signed by 'Cinderella.'

'Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!' She cries out as tears pool in her large green eyes.

I don't think I've ever felt this amount of love in my entire life. I don't even have the words to describe how much content that I'm feeling.

'Grammy! I'm a princess!'

My grandmother chuckles softly, 'It appears you are, Winter.'

'Sissy, why are you crying? Are you upset that you aren't a princess?'

I didn't even realise that tears were rolling down my cheeks until she said that I wipe them away hastily.

'I-I'm just happy, Winnie.'

'Trust me, Winter. Your sister is definitely a princess.'

'Are you her prince?'

Lucas' gaze lands on me as a soft grin forms onto his lips, 'Hopefully.'

My heart stuffers as I feel a wave of affection hit me as I look at the dark-haired boy sat across from me.

'Autumn, I presume that your mother is with her boyfriend for Christmas?'

I shrug, 'Probably.'

'Then, I would like for you to join us. If you continue with your therapy sessions, I will allow monthly visits. But if I feel as if you are slipping, they will stop immediately. Do you understand?'

I nod quickly, 'Y-Yes of course, I won't let you down.'

'I know you won't. I'm sure, this fine gentleman will be there to keep you in check.'

He sends me a wink that sends me swooning, 'Always.'

This officially my favourite chapter of the book, I wrote it, and I can't even handle the feels.

Also, I know it seems like I'm posting a lot of chapters but other than the last few chapters, I've already wrote them all! I'm just too eager to get my work out there, to wait!
