Scarlett rushes towards me, she's out of her costume now and she's wearing mom jeans with lime-green corset top. She grins brightly as she nearly trips over her feet trying to reach me.

'Scar! You where incredible!' I cry out as I wrap my arms around her tightly, she lets out a soft squeal as she rocks me gently.

'Thanks Autie! I'm literally on such a performer high right now, I can't cope!'

'You literally belong on the stage!'

She pulls away from me, 'I do, don't I?'

Sammy coughs awkwardly, 'Do I get a hug?'

'Of course, you do, dummy!'

I laugh slightly as her bear grip nearly tackles him to the ground, his cheeks flushed slightly when they pull apart.

'Where's Toby?'

Scarlett shrugs, 'He said he was going home to freshen up before going to the party.'

'A-Actually now there's just us three, I kind of wanted to tell you something Scar.'

My heart stops slightly, Was Sammy finally going to her?

Her expression softens considerably, 'Sure, Sam. I'm all ears.'

'Y-You know how I've been avoiding you.'

The pink-haired girl frowns, 'I-I knew you were avoiding me! Have I done something to upset you? I'm so sorry if I have, I promise I'd never want to hurt your feelings on purpose.'

'No, you've done nothing! It's all me, I just knew I had to avoid you because it's been killing me that I've not been able to tell you something.'

'Sam, you can literally tell me anything. I love you unconditionally, you know that right?'

He nods, 'I-I do know that...S-Scar, I'm gay.'

Her eyes widen before she roughly grabs him into a tight embrace, she plants numerous kisses on the top of his head.

'I-I'm so proud of you!' She cries out, 'I-I've been waiting for you to figure it out!'

His eyebrows knit together as they pull away, 'W-What you knew?'

She flashes him a sheepish smile, 'I-I've always had a bit of a suspicion, it started when you stole my Zac Efron poster.'

Sammy's entire body turns a deep crimson, 'Y-You knew about that?'

'Yeah, I just didn't want to make you feel uncomfortable by mentioning it.'

'I-I'm so sorry, if you feel like I'm ruining your big night by telling you, I-I just didn't want avoid you anymore!'

'Sam, you haven't ruined my night at all! You've given me the best gift ever, I've got my best friend back!'

My heart aches with happiness as I watch their interaction, these two fucking weirdos are now two of the people, I treasure most in this entire world.

'When I get home, I'm literally ordering all the ally merch, I can find!' Scarlett chirps as she climbs into the passenger seat of Sammy's car.

I roll my eyes softly as I climb into the backseat, once he's inside Sammy turns around to look at me with a grateful grin.

The pink-haired girl pulls out a bottle of prosecco from her bag, 'I think celebrations are in order!'

The brown-haired boy laughs, 'I'm designated driver.'

'Are you drinking tonight, Autie?'

I shrug, 'Y-Yeah, maybe.'

'Don't worry Autumn, I'll drive you home and make sure you get in safe.'

'Thank you. Yeah, I'll probably have one or two.'

...

When we finally arrive at the party it was already in full swing and I was tipsy on the edge of being extremely drunk, we actually ended up polishing off the bottle before we even arrived.

My plan wasn't to get tipsy at all, but I knew I'd need courage to be able to face Lucas and Sophia all night. Half of me was hoping they'd be too busy to come over and talk to us.

Scarlett clutches my hand, 'Are you okay?'

I nod slowly, 'I'm okay, how are you?'

She shrugs, 'I don't feel like tonight is the right time to tell Toby. I just want to dance with my best friends all night and not worry about boys.'

'You'll find the right time.'

She nods in agreement before pulling me onto the part of the living room which was a make-shift dancefloor. I laugh loudly as she forces me to spin her around in circles.

'Do you think we'd be able to do the dirty dancing lift?'

I raise an eyebrow, 'Who is doing the lifting?'

'Me, obviously! You are a lot smaller than I am.'

I glance around my surroundings as I feel a wave of dizziness take over me, okay now the drink is hitting me at full force.

'Fuck it, let's do it!'

'We've got this baby!'

I stifle my laugher as Scarlett urges people to make space, I go towards the other end of the room. She nods at me to indicate for me to begin to run over her. I inhale a sharp breath as I rush forward, her arms grip around my waist before she lifts me up.

'We're doing it!' She cries out.

I nod before I feel my body fly forward, I let out a cry of pain as my head connect with the hardwood floor, I feel my vision become drastically blurry before it settles.

'Autie!'

I try to adjust my vision, but it was becoming increasingly different, 'S-Scar, why are they two of you?'

'Shit!'

'What the fuck happened?' A familiar voice asks, I blink rapidly as Lucas' face appears in-front of me.

I whine loudly, 'We tried to do the dirty dancing lift.'

He laughs softly, 'Fucking hell, I can't leave you two alone, can I?'

'Y-You've been leaving us alone all week.' I slur, 'And it fucking sucks buddy.'

'Buddy?'

'My head hurts!'

'I'm not fucking surprised. Can I grab your waist, so I can sit you down somewhere?'

'You can grab me wherever you want big boy.'

Lucas bursts out laughing, 'I'm definitely going to remind you that you said that in the morning.'

I pout, 'Don't be mean, I'm concussed.'

I feel my body easily being lifted off the ground until I'm placed somewhere soft, I sink into the cushions behind me, i feel my eyelids flutter.

'Hey! No don't close your eyes!'

'I'm tired, fuck off.'

'I know your tired princess. But I really need you to keep your eyes open.'

'Fine but only because I don't want you to cry.'

I shiver as something cold is placed on the side of my forehead, I re-open my eyes to see Lucas knelt in-front of me with furrowed brows, I turn to see Scarlett looking over me with a worried expression holding a frozen-bag of peas.

'You've got such pretty eyes.' I murmur as I reach out and touch Lucas' face, but I drop my hand before I make contact.

'So do you, princess.' He whispers.

'I miss you.'

'You saw me, earlier?'

I shake my head despite the pain, 'It isn't the same.'

Scarlett lets out a loud hiccup before placing a hand over her mouth, 'L-Luke stay with her! I'm going to be sick.'

'Where's Sophia?'

'She isn't important right now, you are.'

'I don't think she likes me very much.'

Lucas rolls his eyes softly, 'It's impossible not to like you.'

I gag slightly before I feel the back of my throat burn as vomit threatens to spill from my lips, I hastily stand up before stumbling outside. I let out a sharp cry as I empty the contents of my stomach into one of the plants next to the patio doors. I feel my hair being held back.

'It's okay, I'm here.'

'I don't like being sick Luke, can you do it for me?'

He lets out a small laugh, 'I would, if I could.'

'Baby!' A shrill voice screams out.

I wince at the loud noise, I rub circles into my temple, 'Inside voices, we have a concussion over here.'

'Why you are outside, alone with her?'

'Autumn is my friend and she needed help.'

'I-Isn't there someone else that can help her?'

'I'm not leaving her while she's in this state, I'm sorry Soph but you can't budge me on this one.'

'W-What about me?!'

'I'll find you once I know, Autumn's going to be okay.'

'This is completely ridiculous! I'm your girlfriend, I should be a priority over other girls!'

'So you would rather me leave a girl in a vulnerable state, so I can stand and talk to you? Even though all of your friends are here and you haven't even had a drink yet?'

'Yes, that's exactly what I want.'

I snort, 'Talk about girls supporting girls.'

'Shut it Autumn!' Sophia hisses, 'This doesn't concern you.'

'Don't fucking talk to her in that tone.'

'Are you being serious right now Luke? Are you seriously picking her over me?'

'Yeah, I am.'

'Then we're done!'

I groan as I feel more sick spill from my lips, I choke slightly causing panic to rise inside of me. I feel my back being patted gently.

'I-I'm so sorry for touching you, but I'm really scared you're going to choke.'

I shrug, 'I-It's okay, I'd be pretty pissed if you let me choke.'

I pull myself away from him before leaning against the cool brick wall and sinking down to the floor. I watch as Lucas sighs and sits down next to me.

'I-I'm really sorry about Sophia.'

He shrugs, 'I'll get over it.'

'I-I feel like I'm the reason your girlfriends keep breaking up with you.'

'They're always the reason. None of this is your fault.'

I yawn quietly before I lean my head against his shoulder, 'I want you to know, I'm only allowing touching because I'm extremely out of it. Please don't try to touch me in the future.'

'I wouldn't dream of it, princess.'

'I don't think you really liked her anyway.'

He raises an eyebrow, 'You don't? Why?'

'Because you still called me princess, despite her asking you not too. If you really liked her, you would have respected her wishes. I mean, you always respect mine. Fuck, you just apologised because you stopped me from choking.'

'Shit, maybe you're right.'

'Can I sleep yet?'

'Nope, I'm actually tempted to take you to the emergency room.'

I squirm, 'Please don't take me, I don't like hospitals.'

'Why?'

'B-Because when I had my examination, the lady was really judgey.'

'What examination?'

I shake my head, 'I can't tell you because you'll kill him.'

I feel his entire body stiffen, 'K-Kill, who?'

'I don't want to talk about this anymore, I'll tell you another day. Please don't be mad at me. I don't like it when you are mad.'

'I'm never mad at you, princess. I promise.'

'Good.'
