Like his father, Ethan also had DID due to his abuses from bullies at school and had a problem copping his emotions. Marc and Layla help him control his personalities and he remained sane during his childhood all the way up to his teenage year. This is the event after Moon Knight defeated Arthur Harrow, a religious zealot and cult leader associated with the Egyptian goddess Ammit looking to exact justice and judgment based on future crimes.
