Suite Two-Thirteen
I kicked the leaves up as we walked along the sidewalk. For being the middle of June there was still plenty of leaves left on the ground, as if they were left behind during the fall and were trying to catch up. As we continued our walk we came a crossed a man on a bench, guitar in hand. He shoots us a smile before breaking out a find tune on his instrument. The sound of the music puts me in a dancing mood. I stretch out my hand to Owen.He raises his chocolate brows, his turquoise eyes narrowing at my outstretched hand.I let out a cackle. "Dance with me."Looking at my hand once again, his eyes meet mine as his white teeth press down on his lower lip. I swallow hard. He has got to stop doing that."Right here, right now?" He finally speaks.I nod, widening my smile. He laughs. "You're crazy, you know that?" He still hasn't taken my hand.I shrug. "Says the one who kissed a random girl at a hotel."A smirk forms at the corners of his mouth. Biting on his lowest lip yet again, he considers this. "Fair enough."With that, he takes my hand and twirls me into him. I feel his hands slide down to my waist as we both sway to the music.[Rank: #490 in ChickLit][Rank: #29 in Spontaneous][extended summary inside]…
