~Rosalinda~"Just leave me alone!" I said, sprinting through the corridors, frantically trying to hold up my long dress to keep from falling over."Rose, wait!" she called, running after me. I ran as fast as I could up the stairs and into my room. I slammed the heavy oak door behind me and slid the thick, silver bolt across it. Breathing heavily, I leaned against the door and tried desperately to calm down. Why did it have to be my birthday, of all times, to be told such awful, shocking news? It wasn't fair. It's my sixteenth birthday, for Heavens' sake! This is meant to be a happy day, a day of celebration! Why did my mother choose to tell me today, when she could have waited until at least tomorrow! ~Felix~"I want us to go away for a week, together, to get to know eachother. That way, we can decide truly whether or not we like eachother - without the pressure of betrothal."
