My name is Dakota Suoh. I am the bastard son of a human woman and vampire man. Even though I was a product of true love, I never knew love. Of course when I was younger they did love me. Being older now, I can hardly remember those times. My entire life was ruined in just one night. The Divine Empire came, about 4 of them. They broke into my home and murdered my parents before my eyes. They realised afterwards that my mother was human. Then they had to deal with me. Usual vampire deterrents didn't work on me. They couldn't kill me because I was still human. They took me with them and imprisoned me. I met Jax there. He decided to care for me and protect me from his older brothers who had brought me here. The Divine Empire has now unknowingly caused a massive war between 3 clans, all in search of the power to rule over the other. The Night Order, filled with vampires, want their kin back, be it for power or because they really want him back. The Bloodguard, run by werewolves, want the power to finally overturn the vampires, whom the hate so much. Dakota is the son of the last king, the ones the humans have killed.
