This is one of my favorite Poem. I am just putting it on here so that other's might read it and enjoy this Hauntingly Great Poem by Edgar Allan Poe. The poem show's the human need to self torture.In “The Raven,” Poe exploits several themes that are found throughout his creative works, including the tragic death of a beautiful woman at a young age, and the grief of the bereft young man whose affection for his lost love transcends the physical boundaries of death and life. Love at first sight. It is a concept we have all seen in the movies or read in book. I mean when you read Romeo and Juliet and Romeo sees Juliet for the first time, he says, “ O, she doth teach the torches to burn bright! It seems she hangs upon the cheek of night as a rich jewel in an Ethiop's ear- Beauty too rich for use, for earth too dear!”Now that is quite an apt description and mine was also something like that although in an English of this century and hopefully with no death in the end.Yes I experienced love at first sight as well and no I didn’t spout poetry like Romeo even though his words “Did my heart love till now? Forswear it, sight! For I ne'er saw true beauty till this night.” Was quite literally what I was feeling.In the movies like Love actually, Hugh grant’s character fell in love with her assistant instantly, Forrest Gump fell in love with Jenny at first sight as well. Jack and Rose fell in love at first sight aboard the Titanic. Even Non human Edward and a human Bella fell for each other at first sight.Hell even Superman fell in love with Lois Lane when he saw her for the first time and he is an Alien. So who was I, Aaron Hunt just a simple boy to be not affected. But in all these instances, the girl in question felt it too, maybe the one I fell in love also felt it, but she sure as hell doesn’t show it.The girl in question is anything but sweet. She is moody, sarcastic, rude and just plain bitchy. And I love it. So what do you do?Well you try to wear her down, make her fall in love with you just the way you have fallen for her. Make her believe that you are the best thing that ever happened to her. And how do you know that?Because you know by the feeling you get when you see her that No one has loved her like I do and no one ever will.…
