Drip... drip... drip...The cascade of crimson so viscously slow fell on the freshly driven snow. Sebastian never once imagined his life would come to fall so far. Miles of bodies. Blood, gore and tears staining the road he did so carelessly stroll.Drip... drip... drip...The sound was so deafening now. Crashing so recklessly into silently melting snow. Perhaps this is what is deserved? To sleep that deathless dream with blood on her lips.β¦
I put down poetry for two years because at the time I was only writing it because I had to for school. Two years later though, and through mountains of heartache and pain, I began to write and write and write mountains upon mountains of poetry. I never appreciated it before, but now as I write these poems, I find that I fall more and more in love with the language. I should warn, these poems will not be entirely contemporary. They will read more narratively as that's just how I like to write, but there will be poems that will fit the norm sprinkled in, so brew some fresh tea and enjoy.β¦
I loved her. I still do. But it's because I love her that I had to let her go. Now all that is left in her wake is pain, anger, suffering. A hole that I can never fill. A feeling of emptiness and numbness the likes of which I have never experienced. I made myself this way and that is just the price of love.β¦
For as long as he can remember, Foxy has been alone. Never a person of consequence. A loner. So cold and distant that you would question whether he was every really there. But something changed. The loving kindness of one girl drew Foxy out of his darkness, to stand in the light.β¦
