The culprits were the Sirens, a race of women that went to war with the Amians, almost annihilating both races over forty years ago. With ancient demon, Aggaron the Dark, controlling a brigade of Sirens, it seemed that the Siren/Amian Treaty was broken, inviting the continuation of the "God-Ending War."
