Atua is the daughter of Kaitiaki and Waiata Olesami. Two passionate Marine Biologists who led simple lives, saving and conserving the ocean and coastlines all across the world. It's how her parents met, at sea. One tragic evening at sea, Atua's mother disappeared and when she wakes the next day to find her mother gone, it breaks her. From that day Atua swore she'd never visit the ocean again as much as it pained her, sometimes literally. After some time Kaitiaki manages to convince his daughter to join him in the water, and she finds her calling.Pule and Tupu are the first ever born twins of the mermaid race. While most think it's a blessing for the king and queen, others think it's a curse that could destroy the kingdom. The children were cursed by a sea witch as retribution for the sins of their parents and the kingdom was never the same again because of it. Mwezi is your typical southern young adult, college graduate. Trying to make it to next pay day, still lead some kind of personal life all while dodging Sallie Mae as best she can. By a seeming act of God, as her Memaw would put it, she gets an offer to travel abroad with a team of Paleontologist who are looking to study a new discovery of fossils in what would have been ancient Mesopotamia. Needing someone of her expertise on such short notice gives Mwezi a shoe in for the position and she's on her way across the world to lands unknown. The discovery is found in a cave that was uncovered in an old mine. Upon surveying the different gems and precious stones there is one in particular that calls to her. Upon picking up the stone for further investigation she was teleported to a new world, Kuhama. Kuhama is a world plague by an imbalance of the male to female ratio (there are 10 to 15 males for every female) and because of this polygamy/polyandry is practiced by everyone. In her attempts to find a way home she runs into various male shifters that seek to claim her heart and become her mate while there are women who will do anything to take Mwezi out and claim her males for themselves. Will she find her way home or will she truly fall in love with the men who pine for her heart?…

Mara is what her people call a gifted soul. Although she was born in Haiti where her life journey began, Mara traveled around the world learning various languages and forms of magic/witchcraft. Sarauniya was an orphan since she can remember. Life was never easy in the system and only got harder out of it. Problems seems to follow her everywhere but things turn around for her on her 25th birthday. While literally running from her newest life changing event she runs into Murciél, a member of the Brotherhood of Kings. Murciél saves Sarauniya by dining on her attackers and while she tries to escape, he holds her close, caresses her cheek and mutters "mate" before he puts her to sleep in his arms.Now she must deal with her 6 mates, discover her true destiny and help destroy a false king that seeks to usurp the brotherhood. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I own NONE of the images used except the current book photo.
