The System
Raiden had only known 'the system' for all of his sixteen years, never once leaving. 'The system' is just what it sounds like, a system of kids all above thirteen, being raised in horrible environments. They were taken from their family's or stolen from orphanages, and raised. When they came of age, they were sent to battle in the underground ring. Oh, if I didn't mention, we are not human. Some of us have lizard tails, some have wolf ears, and fangs. Some barely human, some looked like demons, some angels. We were used to see who was a stronger 'experiment'. It's a horrible life, but I've gotten used to it. Famous people would come and watch the battle's for entertainment. Some would bring their 'pet' so they could fight the champion of whatever ring they went too.
