In a world where about 1 in 100 people have powers, the world has turned to absolute chaos. There is no official organization to help people gain control of their abilities, meaning people are arrested for crimes they didn't mean to commit. The majority of parents are scared of their children when they're born with powers, so they're often sent away for adoption. The large increase in numbers is too much for orphanage caretakers to handle so hardly any children with abilities receive a proper upraising. All these problems have led to a high increase in the world's overall crime rate, and now most people are against people with powers, believing that they should be segregated. A small group- with and without powers- is trying to make things right, but they simply aren't influential enough to affect the world's overall opinions. Thankfully, there is hope. There is one person who is truly powerful, stronger than anyone else. That person just may be the only one who can save the world and restore peace; the only one who is powerful enough to stop the criminals who misuse their powers, and the only one who can make people see that powers can be a good thing. There's just one problem, that person is Carla Rogers--the most introverted, monotone, odd person who has little to no social skills. She's 26 years old, living in a strange old lady's basement. By day, she creates and anonymously sells absurd works of art; at night, she's a talented gamer. (When I say "talented gamer," I mean she enjoys creaming 12-year-olds on Roblox.)
