Rückblickend hatte es beinahe eine Leichtigkeit dargestellt, sich ihre Gefühle einzugestehen und sie letztlich einander zu beichten. Zumindest traf dies zu, bis Hwanwoong sich von Youngjo trennte. Ein paar Wochen später zog er aus der Stadt weg. Alles daran schien so falsch; schließlich sah es Hwanwoong ganz und gar nicht ähnlich, einfach so, ohne eine zweckmäßige Erklärung - ohne sie überhaupt davon wissen zu lassen - aus den Leben seiner Freunde und seines Exfreundes zu verschwinden.Eines Tages - etwa ein halbes Jahr nachdem Hwanwoong dem Anschein nach verschollen war - erwartete Youngjo alles, jedoch nicht, dass er auf Hwanwoong stoßen würde, dessen Auftreten nunmehr ein Schatten von dem war, was Youngjo einmal kannte; und trotz Hwanwoongs Versuchen, ihn von sich zu stoßen, war Youngjo fest entschlossen, ihn nicht damit entkommen zu lassen, was er zu tun versuchte.
