You, Paimon and Aether follow Amber to the Statue of the Anemo Archon near the Cathedral. To be honest, you had no idea what ' Surprise ' Amber had prepared for the Traveler you met. She only told you had Aether helped her clear out a hilichurl camp near the bridge of Mondstadt. Your eye glimmer with excitement as you heard Amber's recount.

,, That's so cool!!! I've never cleared out a Hilichurl camp without getting injured! " You exclaimed as you recalled the time you faced a similar camp during one of your commissions.

,, Oh... Thanks, i did my best abilities on helping out Amber, " Aether says as he gives you a small smile.

You guys arrived at the statue as Amber pulls something out of her bag.

,, So, the present i want to give you... " The Outrider smiled as she fished out a grey Wing Glider from the bag.

,, A Wing Glider! "

,, Outriders use them to ride the wind, and the people of Mondstadt love using them too, I brouht you here to give it to you so you can experience it right away! " Amber explains as Aether stares at it in amazement.

,, Oh you're really excited about these wind gliders, huh? " Paimon comments.

,, Well that's because the wind is the heart and soul of Mondstadt! " Amber explains as she puts her hands on her hips.

,, Alrighty then, enough talk! Why don't you give it a whirl! " Amber states as Aether puts on his new Wind Glider.

,,It's easy to use, But you still need to pay attention to my instructions, " The Outrider reassures the Traveler as Aether slowly climbs onto the stone borders of the area.

,, If you want, I can allow (Y/n) to join you, They are an expert at gliding, " Amber says as she turns towards you, who was watching.

,, I think i'll be fine without Them, but i do need to know where i should land... " Aether mentions as he glances over to you.

His golden eyes never left your (e/c) as you stepped forward to suggest an idea.

,, Let's land at the Fountain near Good Hunter? It's not there far and has a few obstacles you have to avoid," You suggested as you join Aether.

,, I'll take the lead first for demonstration purposes? " You ask the outrider which agreed to your idea.

3rd Person POV.

The Child took a deep breath before they jumped off the stone railing and started gliding. They graceful glided in between two buildings before they swiftly landed with ease at the Main Fountain. Aether and Paimon watched (Y/n) 's performance in awe as Amber smiles proudly, as if she was the one who raised (Y/n).

,, Wait... How was (Y/n) able to glide without a wind glider?" Paimon questioned as she realised that The Child did not use a wind glider.

,, Oh right! Well the cape (Y/n) used similarly acts like a wind glider, " Amber informs the duo as her motioned in the air to form the shape of the Child's cape.

,, So (Y/n) is built different? Or do they control the winds? " Paimon asks the Outrider.

,, To be honest... I'm not sure either! I found her injured near Mondstadt, The Knights of Favonius are still in wondering what are They, "Amber mentions as she shrugs embarrassingly.

,, Fascinating... " Aether said, sounding impressed.

,, Let's not keep (Y/n) waiting now! Take a deep breathe and follow my instructions! " Amber instructed as Aether climbed on the stone railing.

As Aether leaped off, he quickly pulled out the windgliders and glided smoothly between the two buildings. Paimon and Amber quickly follow suite with the Traveler. As he glided nearer to the landing spot, he caught a glimpse of the Child waving vigorously at him, signalling the landing point. Aether quickly took note and swift glided over to (Y/n) where he landed gracefully near the fountain. Sparkles started to appear on (Y/n) 's eyes as they let out a big smile.

,, Woah!! That was amazing, you looked like a bird familiar to the winds!! " (Y/n) excitingly complimented the Traveler.

Aether glanced away from Them as a tint of red slightly flushed his cheeks.

,, Well... Thanks, but i'm still rusty... " Aether stated as he places his hand on his nape, rubbing it.

,, (Y/n) 's right! Now you can fly with Paimon together! " Paimon exclaimed as Amber landed as well.

As soon as Amber and Paimon went over to (Y/n) and Aether, The sky grew dark and thick clouds started to form ominously around Mondstadt. (Y/n) and Amber quickly look up at the sky, realising what was happening. Raging winds soon washed over Mondstadt, pushing the passing citizens out of the city as a familiar ear piercing roar echoes through said winds.

(Y/n) yanked Aether, causing him to flinch in surprise, and attempted to evacuate with Amber and Paimon out of Mondstadt.
However, a large horrendous tornado caught up to the four and taking Aether up into the air. (Y/n) 's (E/c) eyed watched in horror as They tried to fly up to rescue Their friend. But Amber pulled Them away and lead both (Y/n) and Paimon to a safer area.

,, Don't be so rash, (Y/n)! What if you get hurt! " Amber scolded as she analyzed (Y/n) body for any wounds.

,, But what about Mr Aether! "(Y/n) cried as They held onto Paimon, who was about to be swepted away from the gales.

,, I know that, But we need to evacuate the citizens before it's too late! " Amber shouted as she quickly escorted and helped the people of Mondstadt.

(Y/n) clenched their fists hard as Paimon glances up at the storm.

,, Let's go help Amber, (Y/n), i can assure you that The Traveler is tough enough to handle this! " Paimon says, trying to comfort the worried Child.

(Y/n) hestitantly nodded as the duo went to help the Knights of Favonious. As the people were gathered at the Grand bridge, Amber was discussing with the present knights about the situation as (Y/n) and Paimon tried to calm down the citizens.

A few minutes later, The strong gales slowly got weaker than usual. However, it was still unsafe for the common folk to enter the city. Hence, Amber, (Y/n) and Paimon rushed into the scene in order to search for their lost friend. The group managed to catch him as Aether descended from the skies. The Outrider quickly checked for any injuries as the group quickly heard foot steps becoming louder.

,, Kaeya... Stormterror... " (Y/n) mumbled as they scrunched their face.

,, Stormterror... Is attacking Mondstadt itself! "Amber spilled worriedly

,, Kaeya, Aether, you've come at the right time. We must-"

,, Hold on Amber. Are you perhaps forgetting to introduce us? " Kaeya started as he raised a brow at the brunette.

,, Uh- This is Mr Kaeya, The Cavalry Captain for the Knights of Favonius," (Y/n) jumped in as a beads of sweat trickled down theie cheeks.

,, These are Aether and Paimon, They're Travelers from afar! " (Y/n) continued as they quickly go behind Kaeya and pushed him to get the man to be closer to the group.

,, Haha! We should get going now since its gonna be dire-"

,, There is no need to rush, (Y/n). Amber, please tell me how you met these travelers, " Kaeya assured as he glances over to the Child.

Amber quickly relayed the story to Kaeya as the Cavalry Captain welcomed Paimon and Aether. During the conversation, (Y/n) was tappin the floor impatiently as a worried look was plastered all over their face. Is this really the time to chatter? The Child is confused.

,, First and foremost, on behalf of the knights of Favonius, I wouls like to extend our thanks to you for your help just now, " Kaeya remarked as a smile cracked on his face.

,, Well... We couldn't just leave the situation to fester, " Aether admitted as his eyes dazed onto (Y/n), who was painfully waiting.

,, But i guess there's more to be done?" The Traveler questioned the Cavalry Captain.

,, Yes, There is still much more to do. However, The Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius is also keen in meeting you, nad formally invites you both to our headquarters, " Kaeya states.

,, Then we happily accept! " Paimon replies as Aether gave a simple nod.

,, Then let me escort both of you, (Y/n), You can head on first, " Kaeya says as (Y/n) let out a heavy sigh.

,, Is (Y/n) not coming with us? " Paimon asks as she tilts her head towards the Child.

,, I'm gonna go find Ms Lisa, I'll meet you guys soon? " (Y/n) informs the group as They scurried off.

The Traveler and Paimon soon met the Acting Grand Master Jean and the Librarian Lisa in Jean's office. After introducing each other, the five discussed about the incident which had just occurred. The Librarian revealed that the sources of Stormterror's power and the raging elemental flow is located in the four Wind's temples. Aether and Paimon volunteered to help out with the situation, which eased the minds of the knights.

While Aether was venturing in the Temple of Falcon with Amber, He's mind was lingering with thoughts of (Y/n). The reason? It was because (Y/n) was not from Teyvat, just like him and Aether's Sister. They are an abnormality who seemed to have no relations to this world. Aether wanted to learn more about the Child and maybe befriend them.

,, Traveler, are you okay? You seemed lost in your own world? " The Outrider asked as he golden eyes stared worriedly at the blonde.

,, I'm fine, i was just thinking about some stuff," Aether reassured Amber as the trio continued their mission.

Stormterror's crystal shattered into millions as (Y/n) withdrew their sword. Her teacher slowly walks over to the Child, smiling proudly at her student. Oh how much they have grown.

,, Looks like you didn't need any form of assistance, " Lisa spoke which frighten (Y/n) for a few seconds.

,, Ms Lisa! What are you doing here? I told you i'll be fine, " (Y/n) asked as they placed their arms behind their back shyly.

,, Well, The knights are already handling the situation and the Travelers are quite helpful, they are such darlings, " Lisa exclaimed as she places a hand on (Y/n) shoulder.

,, Mhm... Is there anything else i can help with? "(Y/n) turns to their teacher.

,, Unfortunely no, sweetie, The knights are already taking care of the other temples, "Lisa Clarified.

,, But it's okay, You've already been a great help to all of us, So thank you, " Lisa said gratefully as she tossles with (Y/n) 's (Obsidian/Titanium) Hair while the duo exited the Temple.

,, Huh... So Dvalin has attacked Mondstadt? " Hoshiko mumbled to himself as he put away his binoculars into his bag.

The Child of Light was camping on top of the mountains of Dragonspine. Although the cold, icy winds were harsh, it did not seem to bother him.

,, I mean his blood was tainted by Durin's blood which I couldn't find a way to remove... But why the people of Mondstadt... "Hoshiko questioned as he starts scavaging his bag for an old notebook he had.

His golden eyes fell dull as he realised the notebook was no longer with him. Hoshiko threw this bag to aside as he out his hands on his temples. He grind his teeth as he tried to think of where he misplaced it and what happened to Dvalin. In the end, he let out a sigh of desperation as he laid on the soft snow flat.

,, Ugh... What do it do? Where the hell did i put that little book... You're such a dumbass! " Hoshiko cried as he covered his face in embarrassment.
