As the librarian waved the leaving acting grandmaster, the child closed the finished book and daydreamed about the upcoming volumes of the book. Due to the foreshadowing,  Y/n wondered how the story will continue. Not only that,  Y/n really wants to learn about the lawrence clan mentioned in the first volume.
 
" I see you enjoy the book,  sweetie " Lisa stated as she arrived at Y/n's study table.

Y/n could not help but to nod bashfully as They return the book to the librarian.

"M.. Ms Lisa,  May i ask a question? " Y/n mumbled, as they clinged their left hand over the other.

Though Y/n's voice was soft,  Lisa managed to hear what the child of light had to say. " Sure,  sweetie. You can ask anything, "

" Do you know anything about the Lawrence Clan in this book? " Y/n tilted their head, waiting for the librarian's answer.

There was a long silence between the two, Y/n could feel the slight tension in the air. " Oh,  i'm afraid not.  I've forgotten some information about that group. I'm sorry, sweetie, " Lisa excused herself as she went to get the next volume for Y/n to read.

Y/n could only frown at the librarian. What a shame, Y/n thought as They shrugged it off their shoulders. They cant blame Lisa for forgetting contents about the Lawrence Clan in ' Hex and Hound'. The child only sighed before They heard a rustle infront of them.

" here you go, sweetie,  Volume 2" Lisa pushed the book infront of Y/n as she gave Them a smile for moral support.

Lisa only saw a slight curve cracking in Y/n's dainty lips as The child opened the hard-covered book and started to read. The Librarian could only sigh. Y/n must be feeling upset not knowing about the Lawrence Clan....

" Good Evening, Lisa " the mage stumbled back as she heard someone calling out her name in a cheery tone.

Lisa glanced behind to see the Outrider herself at the library. "Oh Amber, good evening. Your back earlier than usual, " Lisa noticed, remembering that Amber comes back to report her patrol late in the day.

"Well,  i've finished patrolling Mondstadt, " Amber explained. " There wasn't as much Hilichurl camps around Mondstadt then yesterday but the numbers are much more compared last month, " Amber continued as she began to wonder.

" besides that, Hilichurls aren't as intelligent to scheme these camps as close to Mondstadt.  It makes it suspicious , " Lisa added as Amber nodded in agreement.

"So... Hows Y/n been doing?  Are They doing well with Their studies?"

"Yes,  They're quite a fast learner. However,  I may have upset little Y/n, " Lisa sighed as she crossed her arms in dejection.

"Huh how come? " Amber asked the Librarian as she explained to Amber what recently happened between them.

"So They wanted to learn more about the infamous Lawrence Clan, huh? " amber summarized as the  librarian only help but to tosled her side ponytail.

"Yes,  and a person as innocent as Y/n may not like it... " Lisa sighed as the two glanced at the busy Child who was engrossed into the book.

Then,  Amber remembered about the incident days ago. Since Y/n was able to understand and speak simple language,  Amber would be able to get proper information from Them. This may be the perfect opportunity! Amber thought as she quickly informed Lisa.

" Hey Lisa,  is it alright for me to bring Y/n out to get some fresh air? "

Hey guys, how have yall been?  I'm really sorry that last week there wasn't a chapter, i was busy wondering how i would progress the story as well as adding a few ideas which may impact Y/n in they're time in Mondstadt.
In honesty,  i felt that this chapter is rushed to i apologize for that. I'll most likely returning to this to edit and fix a few mistakes.
