bucky was silently complying, not breaking eye contact with you. surrounding you were steve and rhodey, but it didn't matter. you raged as you were held back by a s.w.a.t. member.

❝don't touch him!❞ you yelled, thrashing with your arms held behind your back. steve looked at you with sorrow, knowing you cared for bucky just as much as he did. ❝he didn't do anything!❞

when you met bucky's icy gaze, he subtly shook his head, not wanting to drag you down with him. he knew how you would follow him to the ends of the earth with him. he loved and hated that about you.

your nostrils flared as you breathed deeply through your nose. after a moment, you gave one nod at him, knowing you'd regret your next move.

throwing your head back, your skull smashed into the guy behind you before twisting your arms out of their grasp.

spinning on your heel, you swiped his gun from him before pointing it at the man pinning bucky on the ground.

the chilling clicks of multiple guns rang through the tunnel as your deadly glare was set on one guy; the s.w.a.t. member stared back at you with wide eyes, hands still holding bucky to the ground.

your teeth gritted.
