wanda felt dread and guilt rise in her chest as your face flashed on the screen in front of the crumbling avengers. you laid amongst the sea of dirt and rubble, eyes drained from life. your torso was bloody, having multiple hand prints across your uniform.

her handprints.

she remember that day like it was yesterday.

you were just another super human roaming the streets of your city. you were known for good, luckily, and did everything you could to help the civilians live a better life. the battles you faced weren't that challenging for you, and you didn't protest when someone called for help, no matter how small the task.

but, one day, tragedy struck, leaving you with a bigger enemy then you could ever hope for. thats when the avengers swooped in, aiding you in defeating the monster.

after the battle was over, wanda had sparked interest in you, and you to her. she smiled at you with bright eyes, thanking you in mostly helping her out (even though she knew she didn't need it).

it seemed like all was well, when suddenly you lurched forward, gripping your stomach in a death-hold. wanda gasped, stepping back in shock. looking around, she saw a minion stand before you two, their weapon raised. wanda gritted her teeth, taking them out a matter of seconds.

looking back at you, she saw you study your blood soaked hand, before falling to the ground. wanda dove after you, cradling your head as she whispered sweet nothings into your ear, even though you could barely hear it.

as she screamed and cried, you looked up at her beauty, knowing it was something you would never forget. you laid in her arms, finally still.

❝ms. maximoff, do you reccoginze this person?❞

❝i do, secretary ross.❞
