Bayezid was looking at me excepting my answer. I really didn't know what I should do in this moment. I wanted to listen to my heart, but my brain was telling me another thing.

- Bayezid, if you werent a prince, I would go with you on the other side of the world. - I told him. He was just looking at me in silence disappointedly.

- I would go with you in Kutahya if I wouldn't have to be in harem. I dont want to be anyone's concubine. You should understand me. - I told him and gave him a weak smile.

He was so silent for few minutes. He might have been shocked with my answer, but what should he have excepted? He thought I would accept to go to harem and to be a slave there?

- Bayezid. I can't lie to you. I love you. I felt for you something I have never ever felt in my life. - I told him while I had his hands in mines. I looked at him deeply in eyes. I could see him staring at me so in love.

- Nadia. You are the only person I want in this world. I would chose you over million of others women. You are so special. - he said to me.

He came closer to me and putted his hands on my cheeks. He was looking at me directly in eyes. He went closer, trying to kiss me, but I turned my head on the other way.

- Bayezid, you shouldn't do that. I am sure you will find a woman who will give you enough love to forget about everything what happens. Maybe its not meant to be for us. I am a merchant's daughter, and you are a prince. Maybe if we met in another life, where we would been equally, maybe then something between us might be possible. - I told to him trying to act insensitive, but I was so emotional at that moment. I really wanted to kiss him, but that would make me fall for him even more. And those feeelings I had now were already too much.

- Its meant for us to be. You just dont want it. You could tell me like that, it would have been easier to me and you rather than you lying you love me. - he said really disappointedly. Why would he think I am lying to him?

- Who are you and what are you doing here? - Bayezid asked them agressivley.
- Dont even try to fight with us, just give us Nadia. - main one of them told him. I could remember him from this morning. He was the one who killed my brothers.

- Go away. I wont give you her. - Bayezid said and threatened them with a sword.

At that point, they attacked him. He had to fight the five of them at the same time. He was attacked by the first one, but since Bayezid was great at fencing, he immediately knocked him down. He cutted other two with the same move. The next one was attacked from behind. And then he came close to the last one, that killed my brothers today.

Bayezid was sword-sizing with him and the soldier dropped his sword. Bayezid knocked him to the floor and put his sword on his neck.

- Who sent you here? - he asked the janissary man who was lying on the floor. The man was just quiet.
- Tell me or I will kill you at this moment. - Bayezid yelled at him.

- Nurbanu... Nurbanu Sultan. - he said and Bayezid cutted him with his sword.

I was shocked by everything that happened. I was in such a fear. If Bayezid wasnt here, they would have killed me. I was shaking from the fear. Bayezid killed five men in my house. The whole floor was covered in their blood.

Bayezid came to me and took me in bridal style. He took me out of the house.
- You are going with me in palace. We are going to tell this to my father, Sultan Suleyman. - he said and took my hand.

I took his hand and started walking with him because I was scared for my life. We came into a carriage that was awaiting for him. We sat inside and I was still shaking from fear.

- Bayezid, I am so afraid. I can't live with those fears. Nurbanu wanted to kill me twice today. If you werent here, I would have been dead. - I barely could tell him because my heart was working so hard from fear.

He took my hand into his.
- When I am next to you, nothing will happen to you. I will always protect you. - he told me and gave me a smile.

Soonly, we came in front of Topkapi Palace. It was the biggest palace I have ever seen in my life.

- I shouldn't go there. - I stopped while Bayezid was walking.
- You are with me. We must tell that to my father Sultan. Otherwise, nobody will stop Nurbanu. - he told me and I started walking with him.

The doors opened and we had to walk across that huge palace. We passed over a room which was full of girls.
- Is this harem? - I asked him.
- Yes. - he told me.

At that moment, we saw Hurrem and Mihrimah Sultan coming to Bayezid. I bowed to them to show my respect.

- Why did you take her here? You want to tell your father your stupid ideas about proposal? - Hurrem asked him madly. He was really similiar to Hurrem as I could see. Mihrimah was measuring me from head to toe. I could see she disliked me from the first second.

- This is more important, Valide. Its none of your buisness. - Bayezid told her arrogantly and we left the harem. We were walking long towards Sultan's chambers.

The door keeper, hasodabasa, went to tell Sultan we are here. In less than a minute he went back and show us to go in his room.

I went inside and bowed to him, because I knew its forbidden to look at him.

- Bayezid, what happened? Who is that with you? - I could hear a familiar voice, but I thought its just in my head. I knew I shouldn't look at Sultan.

- Father, this woman has to tell you something. - Bayezid said. That was the first time I raised my head a bit and I could see the older man which was with lawyer today.

- Nadia Hatun? - he asked me to see if that am I.
- Father, how do you know her? - Bayezid asked surpisedly and looked at both of us.

- I was today talking with lawyer when she came to complain about Nurbanu. I will give punishment to her tommorow for killing your brothers. - he told me and smiled to me. Bayezid stayed shocked because he didn't know I went to lawyer, but I could see he is happy about it.

- Father, its not just that. Nurbanu sent the janissaries which tried to kill her now. If I wasnt there, they would kill her. - Bayezid told him.

I could see Sultan stayed shocked about what happened. He became mad at that moment.
- What? How could Nurbanu try to do that? - he asked agressively, but tried to stay as more calm as possibile.

I kept silent while Sultan was angry.
- But Bayezid, where did that happen? - he asked Bayezid which surprised me.
- At her house. - he answered.

Sultan Suleyman came a bit closer to him.
- And what were you doing in her house? - he asked him. I could see Bayezid didn't except him to ask him that. He was lost and didn't know what to say.

- I.. I... Father.. Excuse me. - Bayezid said and he was looking at the ground.
- How long are you visiting her? - he asked him and then measured me.
- Father, excuse me, I didn't want to do anything bad. - Bayezid felt embarassed and I could see he is scared of his father.
- Answer me - Sultan told, this time calmly as he was smilingly.
- Few days. - Bayezid said very shy.

- You know she is not a slave? - Suleyman asked him.
- I know, father. - Bayezid said and looked at the ground.

- That is forbidden to you. - Suleyman told him trying to teach him not to repeat his mistakes.
- Father, I knew.. I wanted to propose her, but I didn't want to dissappoint you. - Bayezid said. I didn't know why he has to tell everything. That is the reason he gets into troubles.

- I'm glad you thought that I would be disappointed. Nadia Hatun can go with you in Kutahya. You have my agreement. Its not safe for her to stay in Istanbul. - he said and smiled to us.

I was shocked. I didn't want to go in his harem. But I also didn't want to be here because here is not safe to me. What did happen right now?
