Two months have passed since I've give birth to my baby Murad. He was bornt almost two months before so he was very small and tiny.

Bayezid arranged the best doctors to take care of him so he could be fine everyday. I was really hurt that he is going to suffer, and that I won't be able to have more children.

Since young age, I've always want to have lot of children. To be happy and enjoy life in big family, but obviously that won't happen to me.

Since I've given birth to a son, I've became Sultana. Whole harem including Defne had to bow me. I actually enjoyed having Defne to bow me. Even Bayezid gave me my own chambers now since I'm mother of a Prince.

That day I was sitting in harem. My Murad was sleeping so I had a free time. My maid Guneş was taking care of Murad, while I was talking with Cevri Kalfa in harem.

At that moment, Defne came to the Harem. She came to sit next to me which annoyed me really much.

- What do you want here? - I asked her.
- I came to chat with you, Aslihan. - she said and laughed.

- You will respect her by calling her Aslihan Sultana, don't forget she is mother of a Prince. - Cevri Kalfa told her, but Defne rolled her eyes.

- Why should I call her Sultana when she is mother of sick prince who possibly won't live long, and then she won't be able to have more children. - Defne said and laughed, which really hurted me. It was really stressfull to me, and she had to mention it always.

- You will know your place and what are you talking, Defne. Don't mess with me because things won't be good. - I told her seriously. I tried to keep calm, but I was ready to slap her.

- Are you threatening me? - she said really loudly so whole harem could hear her.

- No, I am not. I am not like you. I know you poisoned me and thats why this happened. - I told her.

- You see how you are not important to Bayezid. He didn't even do anything about your poisoning. - Defne said and laughed.

- He won't. I will do to you. As soon as you give birth. I dont want anything bad to your child as you wished to mine. - I told her and looked away.

At that moment, Bulbul-aga came in harem with a group of new girls which came as slaves.

- What is this? - I stood up and looked at them all.
- Sultana, those are new Greek concubines sent to Şehzade Bayezid. From now on they are members of his harem. - Bulbul told me sadly. He was really good with me, but he must do what was ordered to him.

Those concunines just looked at me and whole harem and they were lost. I won't let any one of them go to Bayezid.

That moment, we heard Defne moaned. She started giving birth. Nurses came to her and picked her up.

Whole harem including me went in front of ambulance to wait for the results of her birth. I knew Defne really wished to have son, so I wonder if that is going to happen.

Hurrem Sultana came and stood next to me. She saw I am not really happy about what is going to happen, but I couldn't change that. I was really hurt about this whole situation.

- Everything is going to be fine, you are mother of the first son. You are Bayezid's favourite. Even if someone gives birth to thousands od sons, you are going to stay his favourite. - Hurrem whispered into my ears.

At that moment Bayezid came. All the concubines bowed to him. I tried to act at least a bit happy in front of him because I didn't want to make him sad.

Defne's giving of birth lasted really short. Soon we heard the cry of the baby and the doors opened. Hurrem Sultana and Şehzade Bayezid came inside to see the child, and I stayed together with the maids outside.

- Şehzade, Defne Hatun gave a birth to a healthy daughter. - nurse said happily and gave a baby to Bayezid.

- What? No! You changed the child. This is not mine child. I gave a birth to a son. You are playing evil game. - Defne yelled on nurse.

- Defne Hatun, you gave a birth to a daughter few moments ago. - nurse said to her ashamedly.

- Defne, calm down. Why does it matter if its a son or a daughter? Its important that child is healthy. - Bayezid smiled to her.

Defne rolled her eyes. I saw she is really angry and mad, so she started to cry from angriness.

- Your name is Handan. - Bayezid whispered three times into her ears.

He wanted to give her to Defne in hands, but she declined.

- I don't want her. This is not my child. I dont accept her as my child. - Defne yelled at everyone.

- This is our child Defne, how can you act like this? - Bayezid asked her. I could see Bayezid is really hurt about her words.

- No! I dont want her. I need son. I won't accept her as my child. I dont want to see her. - Defne yelled like she is crazy.

I came into chambers even though I knew I should not.

- What are you doing here? Trying to make fun of me? - she yelled on me. I was really confused what is going on with Defne.

- Defne, why does it matter if your daughter is a girl. Its your child. You must love her. - I told her. I knew it is hard to her, but she shouldnt act like this.

- Shut up. I dont want to listen to you. I dont want to see that child. - Defne yelled while she was crying.

- Stop acting like a child, Defne. - Hurrem yelled on her so she shut up.

I've left her chambers together with Bayezid who was really hurt about what is happening. I followed him to his chambers because I knew he is not fine.

- Aslihan, I want to be alone. - he said as we came in his chambers. He went to his terrace. I didn't listen to him and I followed him to the terrace where he was standing.

I came from his back and hugged him strongly.

- This is hard for her. She was excepting to give a birth to a son, thats why she acts like this. - I told him trying to comfort him.

- Aslihan, she doesn't even want to take the child into her arms. She doesn't want her. What is going to happen next? - Bayezid asked me while he was at the edge of tears.

- Bayezid, everything is going to be fine. With time, she will start loving that child... - I tried to tell him, but he stopped me.

- It won't, she ordered the nurses to take baby into another room because she cant stand when our daughter cries. Who is going to breastfeed our daughter? What is going to happen with her? - Bayezid told me very sadly.

- Bayezid, if she dont want, I will take care of that child. - I told him which shocked him totally.

- Aslihan, are you sure you would do that? - he asked me with distrust.

- The child doesn't deserve to be alone because her mother doesn't want her.  I will take care of that child, Bayezid. - I told him and he was really surpised, but on good way.

- Aslihan, you are so pure. You are the best possible person that exists in this world. I love you. - he told me and kissed me so gently. I missed his kisses so much.

- I love you too. - I told him and returned him kiss.
