I pull back from Coop and smile at him. "Let's go do some investigating."

His eyes are fixated on my lips and for a second I thought he was going to kiss me and I got nervous.

I lock my door and then we jump in the police car and head to the station.

"In all of our excitement we forgot to the eat cookies," I said opening the container and sticking a cookie in his mouth.

"Thank you V." He laughs chewing.

I wipe crumbs off myself and get out of the car. When I round the front of the car I see his vest. "Coop." I laugh and wipe the crumbs off his vest.

"Guess I'm a messy eater of your cookies. Wait that didn't sound right." He chuckles.

I snort before we walk into the station and as we do the Chief walks out smiling. "You guys really did it tonight!"

"Thanks, Chief it was a group effort," I said.

Jimmaze and Valentine have already been booked but Rob is asking for you, Violet." Chief said.

"Alright let's go see what he has to say." I smile walking down the hall when Coop pulls me back.

"Listen I know you are excited but go in there with a badass attitude and if he asks for a lawyer don't say another word ok?" He said.

"You got it, partner," I said reaching my knuckles out to him. He hits them and smiles and winks at me.

I take a deep breath and walk into the room. Rob is handcuffed to the table.

"Rob, you wanted to see me?"

"Yeah, I want to talk to you." He said.

I sit across the table from him. "Go ahead I'm listening."

"I didn't even get your name but the day I saw you on the beach I thought you were beautiful and I just wanted to get to know you. Drugs aside and all that bullshit.

"Is that all you have to say?" I said.

"No wait my Uncle Rico I was just trying to help him out. I haven't been doing this long and didn't even know what I was doing. Please try and help me out of this." He said.

"If you want me to feel bad for you Rob I don't. We have been watching you guys for a while and I was shocked when I saw you on the pier with Valentine. Jimmaze is the lowest of the low and while you are in jail think about what you have done." I said standing up.

"Please I don't even know your name." He said banging on the table.

"My name isn't going to help you, either way, Rob," I said walking out the door.

Coop was standing at the door and when I walked out he grabbed me and wrapped his arm around my neck. "You were such a bitch in there! I loved it." He said laughing.

"Really? I did ok?" I laugh.

"Fuck yeah! I'm so proud of you V!" He said.

We head out to the patio area and take a seat. I look over at Coop and he's staring at me and it's weird like we are having a moment.

"Maybe we should go do our paperwork since we saw this through," I said.

"Yeah let's and then maybe we can grab something to eat after." He said.

"Denny's and then a run." I laugh walking to my desk.

"Sounds good to me." He said sitting down.

We finished up paperwork around an hour later and headed to the car. I am so hungry. "Gosh, I am so hungry I can't wait to eat!" I said looking over at Coop.

"Almost there V. Hold your horses." He laughs.

We pull up and I order a bunch of food and he laughs at me. "You are going to need to do extra exercises to get all of that off."

"Hush I know but I'm hungry," I said as she sits the food on the table.

"We really did well tonight V. We took down three people." He smiled.

"My adrenaline was pumping so fast. I was afraid I was going to have to kiss Rob in the night club." I said.

"I'm glad you didn't have to. I was nervous when he was whispering in your ear. What did he say anyway?" He asked.

"Umm that he wanted us to get high and fuck in the back," I said.

"Oh hell no. I would have never allowed that to happen." He said.

"I wouldn't of let that creep touch me either." I laugh.

We finish our food and when the waitress walked back over she said the gentlemen over at the bar paid for our meal.

We both looked back and the man smiled at us. "Well, that was very nice of him," I said.

We get up to head out and I walk over with Coop behind me to thank the gentlemen.

"We appreciate you paying for our meal sir," I said.

"No problem. I appreciate your service." He smiled. "I'm Andrew."

"I'm Violet and this is Cooper. Thanks again." I smile.

"It's no problem. You guys have a good day." He winked.

When we got back in the car Coop looked back over at me and laughed.

"What?" I ask.

"He winked at you. People find us in uniforms sexy you know."

"What? He was just being nice." I said.

"Yeah to get in your pants." He laughed.

"Coop I ignore all of that. You have a lot to learn about me." I said.

"I guess I do." He smiles over at me as we pull up at my house.

We get out and he brings in a bag so he can change. "You can use the bathroom off from the kitchen and I'm going to go upstairs. Give me your gun I'll lock it in my safe." I said.

"Sounds good. But I need that code in case something would happen and you couldn't tell me." He said.

"Fine, it's 0210," I said walking upstairs.
