We pull up at work and my adrenaline is pumping I'm so ready to bring Andrew down.

No one messes with me and gets away with it and I feel I have something to prove after what he did last night by throwing that rock in my window.

We walk in and go straight to the Chief's office.

"First off guys I'm sorry about what happened last night at your house, Violet. But we are going to get this guy and I know you guys are ready. Tell me what you got." He said.

"Coop and I went to Denny's this morning and so I talked to Karen who is the person who gave us intel before and she's going to text me when he shows up," I said.

"Sounds like you guys have it covered. Keep me posted on the progress." He said.

I went to my desk and saw Clint and walked over to him. "So Coop told me that you have two younger kids and well my nephew is having a birthday party this weekend and I was hoping you would bring them," I said.

"Roddy and Gwen would love that." He smiled.

"Coop will give you details and my brother and sister are around your kid's ages so that should be fun." I smile.

"A party? Am I invited?" Jeremy asked.

"No your not and it's a kid's birthday party," I said walking back to my desk.

"God she's hateful." He said.

"You just rub people the wrong way, Jeremy," Clint said.

I watch him sit at his desk and sulk. I pull out some paperwork and try to stay busy waiting on Karen to call. My nerves are shot and I'm ready to take him down. I mean I know there will be more criminals after him but I hope not like this.

Coop looks over at me and winks shuffling his paperwork. We are just biding our time.

When my phone beeps I look down and see it's Karen.

📱He just walked in Violet.

"He is there let's go, Coop," I said jumping up rubbing my hands together.

"Alright let's get ready to go. Clint and Jeremy, we need a backup for this. The chief is in on it." Coop said.

We gather up and head out to our cars. Checking our gear and head toward Denny's.

"Now the plan is that you go in alone and when you say a certain word we will come in and arrest him." Coop said.

"What can be the word? Andy?" I said.

"Sounds good to me since we know him as Andrew." He said.

We pull up and Coop radio's the word to Clint as I get ready to go in. "Now listen just be calm and know I'm right out these doors with my gun ready." He said.

I squeeze his hand and lean over and kiss him quickly. "I got this Coop," I said getting out of the car and seeing undercover cars lining the parking lot.

I walk in and sit down at the bar beside Andrew. Karen walks over smiling. "What can I get for you?"

"Umm, I'll have a cup of coffee please," I said.

"Ahh if it isn't Violet. Nice to see you again young lady."

"Hi, Andrew how are you doing?" I said.

"Just great came for a bite to eat." He said.

"Thanks again for buying our breakfast the other day." I smiled.

"My pleasure. So where is Cooper?" He asks looking around.

"I'm not sure," I said as Karen put my coffee in front of me.

"A pretty girl like you shouldn't be out alone in the dark." He said.

"I can take care of myself I'm not afraid," I said.

"Is that so? It would be a shame if something happened to that pretty little face of yours." He said.

"Let's cut the bullshit, Andrew. Why did you throw that brick through my living room window?" I asked.

He smirked. "Well, I did no such a thing."

"Ok, Andrew or Andy should I say. Maybe Andy Meade rings a bell?" I asked as I stood up and Coop and the rest come barging into the restaurant.

Andrew looked surprised. "You have nothing to say I did that." He scuffed.

I stood up and put my handcuffs on him. "Wanna bet? Your little flunkies sang like a canary once their fingerprints came back on the rock not to mention the spray can they left near my house." I smirk as I jerk him to his feet.

Clint walks up with Coop and they lead him outside to a cop car while he's yelling he wants an attorney.

I get back in the car and Coop smiles over at me. "You did so good V. I was afraid you were going to jump the gun but you didn't."

I grab his hand and squeeze it. He leans over and kisses my cheek. "Let's get back to the station."

"I'm ready! I mean he lawyered up but that doesn't matter that one guy said he threw the rock on Andy's orders and Rob also told us where the stash was Andy was selling." I smiled.

We get back to the station and Clint takes Andrew to a holding room. Can't really talk to him but I'll ask again before they lock him up.

I walk to the holding room and see Andrew handcuffed to the table. "Is there anything you want to say or are you waiting for your lawyer?"

"I give you credit Violet. I didn't think you were on to me." He smirked.

"Thanks, I am smart, and putting criminals away is what I do best. But I don't understand why throw the rock in my window?" I ask.

"I thought it would scare you and since you took my men down I thought maybe you would back off." He said.

"Fat chance of that. Well, your lawyer should be here soon and we will take you down to booking." I said walking away.

I walk back to my desk and the Chief comes out and tells me to step into his office.

When I get in there the Chief high fives me and Coop fist bumps me.

"Violet I don't know if you noticed when you talked to him but he said I thought since you took my men down. So he just inadvertently said he was behind all of it." The chief smiled.

"I heard him but didn't want to let on." I smile.

"My partner is the most badass person I know." Coop smiles.
