A couple of days later the cramps are just horrible. Coop is at work and Cam is still working on Julia's room.

I told Cam I was coming to lay down for a little while but I didn't tell him why. Julia is really kicking me today or it's Braxton hicks.

I close my eyes and doze off for a little bit but I woke up in so much pain.  I manage to get out of bed and when I stand up on my feet a gush of water comes out. I try to get my bearings straight and I start screaming.

"CAM! CAM!" I scream.

Cam comes running into the room and his eyes are so big. "Omg, Violet are you ok?"

"My water just broke can you get me in my truck and take me to the hospital and then call Coop please?" I cry.

"Come on let me just carry you to the truck." He said.

"But I'm wet Cam," I said.

"I don't give two fucks. Now come on we are wasting time." He said lifting me up.

I wrap my arms around his neck and he rushes down the hall and steps and out to my truck.

There was a Walmart bag on the floorboard and he grabbed it and set me on it so I wouldn't ruin my seat.

I watch as Cam runs around to the driver's side and jumps in. He backs out of the driveway and puts the phone on speaker and calls Coop.

📞Hey, Cam what's up?

📞I need you to meet us at the hospital. Violets water broke and I'm rushing her there now.

📞Oh, fuck! Alright be careful and I'll be there soon. I love you V.

📞I love you too Coop. Please just hurry.

📞I will. It will be ok. Cam will take good care of you.

📞Cya soon Coop.

📞Alright, thanks, Cam.

"We are almost there Violet just hang on ok," Cam said.

We pull up at the hospital and Cam runs in and comes out with a nurse and a wheelchair.

"Come on Violet let's get you inside," Cam said.

Just as he sits me in the chair Coop comes pulling in with his blue lights flashing. He sees us and parks and runs over.

"I'm here V! I made it." He said catching his breath.

"I'm glad you made it." I smile as I grab my stomach and the nurse wheels me in.

"Let's get you in a room and checked and then we will fill out all the necessary paperwork." She said

"Give me your insurance stuff and I'll take care of the paperwork," Cam said.

Coop hands him everything and he walks out of the room when the nurse walks back in. "You can call me Lib. I'm going to check you and see what's going on." She smiled.

I get in the gown and they put the baby monitor on me and then she checks me. "Is this your first baby?" She asked.

"Yes is there something wrong?" I ask.

"No nothing is wrong. You have just dilated to four already and you must can handle pain." She smiled.

"Let's hope it goes by fast." I laugh.

She covers me back up when Cam walks back in and hands the cards back to Coop.

"So who is the husband?" Lib laughs.

"The cop is my hot husband and that is my brother." I smile.

Coop winks at me and Cam grins and then looks at each other.

"Oh, shit one of you need to call my family. Coop will you call dad? and Cam will you call grandpa please?" I said.

It wasn't long until the clan showed up. The nurse let my mom and dad in the room.

"Hey, munchkin are you ok?" Dad said rushing over to my side.

"Umm well, I'm nervous as hell that I'm about to push this baby out and the pain is so bad," I said gritting my teeth.

Mom smacked his chest. "Levi don't ask my sweet pea that! You know she's in pain. Remember how crazy I was during birth?" She asked.

Dad grinned... "Coop you are in for a treat."

"Hush Levi you are going to scare them." Mom said.

A big contraction came on and it was all I could do to not cuss everyone in the room.

"I think it's time for us to step out. If you need me Violet get one of these two to come to get me ok?" Mom said.

"Thanks, mom," I said as dad kissed my head.

"Do you guys want me to leave?" Cam asked.

"Not get you can wait until at least her head is out," I said.

"Oh hell no." Cam laughed.

"You sure you don't want to hold one of her legs?" Coop laughed.

"No thank you!" He laughed.

"What if you stayed at my head and held my hand?" I ask.

"I could do that but only if you wanted." He smiled.

The nurse walked back in to check me and Cam turned around in his seat.

"You are at a five. Sometimes it goes slow." She said.

"Can I get you some ice chips or something?" Lib asked.

"What flavor can I have?" I ask.

"We have cherry and blueberry." She said.

"I'll take cherry please," I said.

Cam walks over with a cold washcloth and places it on my head. "Here this might help."

"You are going to make a good husband one day Cam." I pat his hand and then a pain hit and I squeezed the shit out of it and he screamed.

"Oh fuck Violet I need that hand." Cam laughed.

A little while later the nurse comes in and checks me saying I'm eight centimeters now. I hope it won't be too much longer.

Cam turns on the stool when they come to check even though he can't see anything it's funny. I'm debating letting him stay in the room. Just at my head obviously.
