This is part of what a family is about, not just love. It's knowing that your family will be there watching out for you. Nothing else will give you that. Not money. Not fame. Not work.

'Kim Jungkook, you better take your lunch with you or I will come to the office to give it to you.' Taehyung shouted from the Kitchen as he tilted his head out of the Kitchen door to see if Jungkook was going to listen to him or not.

Jungkook picked up the lunch and ran towards his husband kissing him on the cheek.

'I am getting late baby. See you.' Jungkook breathed as he nestled in Tae's scent.

'Here! Go now. Take care baby.' Taehyung said as he put one piece of toast in his husband's mouth and handed another to him.

Jungkook wanted to laugh at his husband but he would drop the sandwich if he did. So he just handed over his lunch to his bodyguard and ran towards his car and motioned the driver to start instantly trying to tuck his shirt in his pants and smoothening out his hair.

'Aish! This boy will make my hair white.' Taehyung huffed. He checked the tea for his eomma and appa and put their breakfast in a tray as he took it to their room.

It had been five years since his marriage with Jungkook. A lot had changed in their life. For instance, Eomma and Appa were increasingly getting fragile. Eomma had been hospitalized for two days last week. Appa had been coughing constantly. Instead of walking or sitting in the garden, now they both had their breakfast in their room. Tae had to fight to make this happen, the chill air just made both of them sick too soon.

Tae entered the room breaking out of his reverie. He kissed both of them and sat with their breakfast, entertaining them with silly jokes and stupid things. As he was leaving, he could see the sad faces of his parents. They were getting frustrated in their room.

An idea struck Tae's mind, 'Eomma, Yoongi hyung and Jiminah are busy today. They will be dropping Sujim for babysitting today. Is that okay?'

Tae saw how his Eomma's face lit up. She nodded her head like an excited child. Tae smiled and moved to the kitchen. He placed the plates in the sink and called Jimin requesting him to drop their 5 year old daughter to his home. Thankfully, Jimin had nothing planned for Sujim today. So, he instantly agreed.

Tae took his plate of food and sat on the dining table. So much has changed, he wondered to himself. He remembered the day, Jungkook had asked to merge both the companies as one so that they could equally divide the work load.

Tae would never forget that night in his life. The doctors had only allowed one person to stay with Appa and Eomma wouldn't budge. Appa had had a heart attack and no one wanted to go home. Bit they were forced to. Although, Tae was scared if his Eomma would be okay but he knew he couldn't really ask her to stay away from her husband. Jungkook and Tae had come back home. Tae remembered how he had been so silent and how scared Kook was. In the end, when they lay down Kook had hugged him and asked him to let it out.

It had been like floodgates had opened. He had cried till the wee hours of the morning. Kook had gotten Tae something to eat from the kitchen, he remembered. That's when Kook had said it. They would merge everything. On good days, one of them would work from home and another from office. On bad days, they would take turns, sometimes Kook going to office and Tae taking care of his parents, on other days, Tae going and kook keeping the parents company and taking care of them.

Both of them had their medicine charts stuck to the fridge. Tae was amazed at how much he himself had started using the kitchen and cooking. It was like when he was a child, he would always find his mom cooking and he would be outside. Now it was his turn to be inside the Kitchen, sometimes, taking care of the house and his mother resting.

Tae sighed. He didn't want to eat alone. He had never liked to. Lately, the bad days had been more in number. Eomma had gone too weak and fainted again. She had to be kept in hospital. Tae wished for Summers to come soon. He had hated summers. But it ensured that his parents would get less sick. So, summer was welcome in Kim household now.

Tae forced himself to take four bites like Kook always forced him to. One bite for each memeber of family and of he still didn't feel like eating, he knew he could leave it.

He forced four bites into his mouth and went to the garden. The flowers were beautiful. He picked up the herbal plants and started making concotions. They had to be served later.

Tae directed the help to take care of the laundry and booked appointments for his mom and dad. The cleaning help had to be directed and the entire house had to be dusted.

'We should seriously move.' Tae huffed.

'Yeah. Why don't you say that again to your husband.' Mr Kim said.

'Appa what do you need? Does Eomma need anything? Why did you come here? You could have called me.' Tae went off.

'Shush! Your Eomma slept. She won't wake up for an hour. I am here. I am okay. Don't worry.' Mr Kim said.

'Hmm' Tae replied.

'So, what were you saying about moving?' Mr Kim asked teasingly.

Tae whined. He knew his dad was teasing him. Tae had been stupid enough to bring up the idea of moving to a smaller house at the dinner table a month ago.

To say Kook was livid, would be an understatement. He had gone on and on till Eomma had interfered.

'This man wants to move from the house we were married in. Tomorrow, you will say you want me out. No, Eomma tell him we are not moving. He can mobe out of he want. My children will grow up and get married in the same spot. Of this is too difficult for him, I will die everything. We are not moving. Eomma tell him we are not moving. Please.' Kook had said. He had cried in front of his family so openly for the first time. And shouted at him in front of Eomma and Appa for the first time too. Tae shuddered at the thought. No, he couldn't have a rehash of that. Nope, never.

Tae had to swear on their future children, Kook's life and his wedding ring that they would never move to any other house till they lived to calm Kook down. That had been a.... Let's say... Tough day for Kim Taehyung.

'Yes. We are not moving, happy?' Tae grumbled and left for his room.

He sat on the bed. He had gotten used to this life. One of them handling the company and one the home. They often shifted roles. Sometimes every week and sometimes every day. Tae had never imagined himself staying at home while Kook worked. They were a team. Wasn't that what marriage was? Two complete people coming together only to realise that they had been incomplete all along. And when they finally accept each other .... You take the other person, their name, their reputation, their heart with you everywhere you go. Doesn't it become your indentity? Kim Jungkook was Kim Taehyung's indentity. Kim Taehyung was Kim Jungkook. They were one. Each half taking care of what the other half couldn't. Tae had never imagined his life to be this way. He had never expected to have such an understaanding and supporting partner as Kook. A man who loved him regardless of his flaws.

Tae looked around their room.

Their bedroom was no more a clean and empty space. Tae wanted to almost laugh at how their room had two sides when they had married. Different closets and sides of bed. He looked around. Their blanket was still in the middle of the bed. Kook's like of clothes mixed with Tae's. Their shoes outranking the others. Their books, music CDs all merged now. The room had kook's painting of Tae on one side and Kook's photo clicked by Tae on another side. Their morning tea cups were scattered around the room.

The sheets still had cum stains from their morning session, what had made Kook late in the first place. But no matter how cluttered or filled up his room looked now. It was his favourite place.

Tae wondered if it would be right time to talk to Kook about kids. It had been the first time Kook had mentioned kids in the fight that night. Tae felt confused, weren't they already stretched to their limit taking care of Eomma and Appa. Lately, they had been urging the Jeon family to move to Seoul too. Did they even have time to take care of a baby?

Did Kook mean kids as in near future or like sometime later?

Tae sighed. He needed to talk.

Tae drifted to sleep as he lay thinking.

For the first time, he dreamt of a baby girl with two cute small ponies bouncing on the bed clutched to his legs as Kook ran after her with a toast, pleading, like Tae did every morning with Kook.
