What if we still ride on, we two
With life for ever old yet new,

Changed not in kind but in degree,
The instant made eternity,-
And heaven just prove that I and she
Ride, ride together, for ever ride?

~ Robert Browning

17.

'Let me pour you a glass of Gin.' Seokjin said sitting on the sofa.

'I can't have you hyung. Joonie Hyung would kill me.' Jungkook said in fake seriousness.

'You brat. I just fed you your favourite food. Have some respect.' Jin said huffing.

Kook snickered. As Jin handed him the drink, he said, 'Let's go to the Balcony hyung.'

'Sure' Jin said.

They stood with their arms on the glass ceiling. Kook took a sip of his drink and looked at the shining moon.

It had been 10 days since the night he had seen the moon with Taehyung. He smiled. That was one of the best nights of his life. Not that he would accept it in front of anyone.

'I can't believe you are going to be married in 5 days, you were so young when I met you.' Jin said getting emotional thinking about the day he had met Kook. He had been working in the restaurant when he saw a guy almost on the verge of crying looking like a lost puppy. He knew he had to help him. Jin being Jin was able to make the cute bunny laugh and soon they became friends. This was 5 years ago. It was sheer coincidence that Namjoom's parents had asked Jin to marry their son. Kook was beyond happy when he found out that Jin was going to family.

'I was, Hyung.' Kook's deep voice brought Jin out of his reverie.

Suddenly, the peace of the night was disturbed by Kook's phone. He looked at the sign. Switched off the alarm and texted Taehyung to sleep on time. He then texted Mrs. Kim that Tae still hadn't come back from study to his room. And if he didn't come into their room to wish them good night in next five minutes, he wanted her to go the study and pull his ears.

It was 11 in the night and this man was still working. Kook huffed.

'What did he do?' Jin asked.

'Huh?' Kook looked at him

'What did Tae do to make you mad?' Jin explained.

'How did you know?' Jin laughed and looked away, he took a long sip and said smiling, 'Because that's the exact same sound I make when your Hyung behaves so stubborn.'

Kook looked down shyly.

'Spill bitch' Jin prodded knowing Kook wanted to talk but was too shy.

'Hyung.... He works like a robot. He will get grey hair in a year at this rate. He barely sleeps. I have to force him to get on a call and make him sleep. He literally works without a break or caring that he will get sick. I don't even know how he is a CEO. He behaves like a six year old obsessed kid who can't take care of himself.' Kook ranted. It felt so good to get it out of his chest. He really couldn't talk to anyone else about this. Not like he had many friends. But not even with Namjoom.... He felt shy. Jin had seen him at his worst. It was easier to talk to him.

Jin secretly smiled hearing Kook complain. He was happy. Too happy, in fact. He knew Kook had agreed to the marriage simply because he wanted to see him and Joonie happy. And he felt guilty. But seeing Kook so worried, he was glad. They were going to be fine. But this was the first time his bunny had talked about Tae like this. So of course, he wouldn't leave a chance to tease him.

'Hmm... That's very serious, indeed. Not like his fiancee who could hire the best industry experts with a flick of his finger if he was overworked, but did not because someone came down to the office and offered help and by offering that help were left overworking. Hmm... Even so sad, Kook, right?' Jin said with a smile one his face.

Kook was red in his ears. He hid his face with his hair and just stared ahead. What Jin was saying was of course true. Sure Kook was overworked. But he could have hired help anytime. But Kook was a low-key control freak when it came to his work and could not accept that someone else could do all the very important tasks correctly. But when Tae had offered help, he couldn't deny. He knew he could handle the work but it felt to be taken care of. The entire day, he was the one in-charge, making important decisions, but he wanted to be taken care of too. Hoping for a change someone else would make a decision and let him be in peace.

But there was another aspect to the whole situation. He opened up to Jin about it. Before speaking, he finished his drink, 'You are right Hyung. I could deny hsi help but Tae is... Complicated. We didn't talk after I went to meet him for the first time. For 15 days, we only wished good morning and good night. When he came, he started taking care of everything. That was his way of showing that he cared. Tae is not good with words Hyung. I have to deduce from his actions what he is trying to say. I knew if i denied help, he would keep suffocating inside for the next few days. So, I let him do what he feels comfortable in; work. But I have tried to make sure that he eats his meals and sleeps on time.... It's fucked up I know but I am trying to understand him. It's not exactly easy. I have been working for so many years now and reading him is the most difficult thing. For something as small as saying Take care... I have to deduce that he is worried and restless about me. Huh! I swear this guy is going to make me mad.' Kook laughed at his own self as he brushed his hair back.

'You are falling in love with him, Kid' Jin stated matter of factly.

Kook poured himself a new drink. Looked at the moon, sipped his drink and as he averted his gaze from the moon said, 'I don't know what it is Hyung'

Jin looked at him closely. Kook was confused. Normally, Jin would do anything to make Kookie not be confused. But this time, he wanted him to figure it out on his own. A relationship was about two people and it only made sense if only those two people stayed in it. Interference of a third person was never a good thing, at least, not in healthy relationships.

Jin knew this. He knew these two people were about to be hitched for life. Wasn't it better that they both fought and make up, made their mistakes and apologised, failed to communicate and then eventually learn how to. It was their Journey. No matter how much anyone loved them, this was going to be their journey and they would travel it together. Jin smiled. He had a premonition that they were going to make it. 'Pabos, one working too hard because he can't say something and other worrying about his rest because he knows overworking is the only thing that calms him down.' Jin thought and smiled. These two tough cookies would definitely make it, he mused.

Kook looked at his hyung, amazed he had neither teased him or given a word of advice. Jin looked back at him and Kook wiggled his eyebrow before saying, 'What, have I finally left the Kim Seokjin speechless.'

Jin smiled and downed his drink, 'Aniyo, Just that I know exactly what you mean when you say that you don't know what it means.'

'Ooooo' Kook squealed. 'How are you guys doing?' He asked in a small voice knowing he could get beaten up for asking a personal question.

Jin sighed and answered, 'Well, you hyung is too sweet. I am worried I will get diabetes.' Jin said, his playful face back in place. A relationship was supposed to stay between two people after all. Kook understood that Jin didn't want to talk about him. He knew they were going good but. Kook had called him to ask if he had his food. Namjoon was again out of the city for business. And seeing Jin caring fir him had told Kook that the two elders would come around eventually. So he looked at the moon again. Wishing he could go back to his room and call Tae to make him sleep. Jin saw the other's expression change from love to longing. He knew it was time to send him to his room. Jin excused Kook to go and sleep while he went to his room and video called his Joonie.

'Hello my Prince' his Joonie's voice boomed in the room as soon as he picked up the phone.

Jin ran to his earphones and plugged them on blushing.

'Hey' he said in a small voice.

'Oh you drank and now you miss me.' Joon said cutely. Jin nodded shyly.

'How was your day love?' and the both the husbands talked till an hour before Jin fell asleep and Namjoon took screenshots not being able to control his smile at how cute his baby looked.

On the other side of the house, on another call, the overworking man was fake pouting because his ears had been pulled by his mother and his future husband was scolding him for not listening to him.

And yet, his heart had never felt so warm before.

A/N: Sorry for the late update. And that this chapter is not proofread. I literally just want to have my dinner and sleep.

Rant, you can skip:

It was such a long day. Some authors are so rude. And then there was a book launch that didn't end till so late. Now it's almost two and I can't wait to eat and sleep. Ah!!!! But I loved writing this. I just wish every part of my body would stop aching. Sorry for the rant readers. I needed it.

Wattpad is glitching.

I wanted to quote Browning so badly.
