Paparazzi caught Levi Ackerman, carrying his fiancรฉ Y/n L/n, after supposedly falling asleep in his car.

"They're so cute"

"He's so hot."

Most of the comments were like that. You laughed, your relationship with Levi was secret and yet public at the same time.

"I want him as my husband."

"It's too bad he's mine."

You laughed at that one as well. There were many more comments like these.

If only they knew the truth. You thought.

Time passes quickly and your boredom beings to rise. Before turning your phone off, you read the top for the time.

6:42? It couldn't have been that long. You said internally.

You place your phone down and lay on your back, placing your arms on your stomach.

There was a slight pain in your chest for letting Levi walk out, without allowing him to say what he wanted to. You remember the hesitation you witnessed from Levi before he asked you why. You felt that it was something else he want to say to you.

Damn, it was a few hours ago let it go y/n. But it hurt, knowing that you gave up on being anything more than someone he despised.

I need to get my mind on something else.

You need to get your mind on something else.

But he couldn't, alas, Levi had felt a small yet noticeable pain in his chest. It had been some hours since the argument but it was still in his mind. Along with the events of yesterday night.

Levi sunk in his office chair, contemplating his life choices.

Only two, two fucking words you couldn't fucking say.

Two words that might've changed the outcome of the conversation he recently had with you. Two words that he didn't say and regretted not saying.

It was the way you spoke to him. The hint of resentment, he knew it was expected, but the small pain was there for that reason.

While in thought, Levi felt his phone ring.

It was Hange.

Levi hesitated before answering.

"The fuck is it shitty glasses," Levi grumbled.

"I guess someone's having a bad day." Hange sassed.

"Tch, what the hell do you want?" He snarled.

"What's wrong Levi?" She questioned.

"Nothing." He lied.

"Do you really think you can lie to me, we've been friends for 2o years now?" She reminds.

Levi doesn't deny this.

"Now I know something is wrong, you didn't even deny it!" Hange exclaims. "Trouble in paradise."

It annoyed Levi that she was spot on, kinda.
"Tch." He answered in response.

"I'll take that as a yes." She announced. "Whatever it was I'm sure it'll pass quickly. You seem to be head over heels for each other."

"That reminds me about the Sinagram post I saw earlier," Hange squealed. "You carried your sleeping beauty inside your house."

Hange snickered. Levi reminds himself of you in his arms resting quietly. "You must loooove her," She teased.

A weird feeling grew in his chest, upon hearing the word love. He brushed it off.

Yeah, as if. He scoffed.

"So, when do I get to meet her?" Hange asked.

Levi quickly snapped back to reality. "There is no way in hell that I would ever let her meet the likes of you."

"You're so mean to me, Levi." She whined.

"Oh I forgot, Erwin wanted me to tell you he already met her." He said nonchalantly.

Hange gasped.

He was in for it now.
