4 days later.

"Hey, Sasha how-

"HeydidyougethomeokMikasaAnnieandihavebeencallingyourphonebutnoansweritsbeenfourdaysareyouok?" Sasha spewed more words at you but you couldn't make sense of it all.

You could tell she was about to continue so you quickly interjected before she could start. "Sasha, please don't worry I'm ok,"

"I've just been really busy," You explain. This was true. Sasha exhales, relieved that you're ok.

"Well as long as your not dead," She says. You giggle at her comment. "Also, Mikasa has been calling Scary shortman too, she won't admit it because I think she's worried."

Sasha took a bit of whatever she was eating and continued. "I'm also worried for scary shortman, cause he never misses work, but I didn't go to work today-"

You turn around to see Levi leaning on the doorframe of your room.

"Sasha," You say.

"-or yesterday-"

"Sasha please-"

Your eyes started to widen, Levi raised his pointer finger, and pressed it to his lips, telling you to let her keep talking. You take the call off speaker not wanting Sasha to incriminate herself any further.

"-and I don't plan on going tomorrow, he wouldn't know so no harm no foul."She continued. "And Petra's being a real-

"Sasha, I'll, I'll have to call you back," You tell her defeatedly.

"Oh ok, byeee!"

You end the call.

Levi is still standing in the door frame arms crossed with a hint of satisfaction radiating off him.

"Hey," You say.

"Hey," He replies.

Things are a little awkward after the, K I S S.

You remember embracing Levi for a good minute 4 days ago. Your cheeks warm when thinking about it.

"How did you sleep?" You asked. You take the black dress and hang it inside the closet.
It's dry clean only.

"I slept ok," He said. There was a small pause before, "Thanks for asking." The truth was he didn't sleep at all. The past 4 nights were sleepless for him.

A part of him wanted to tell you about his nightmares maybe he, or that he slept better with you. Levi sighed. "I think I'll be working from here for a few more days."

You give him a reassuring smile. "Ok, take your time, if you need-

Your phone started to ring interrupting you. You look away for a split second, but Levi is gone.

Caller  I.D shows Mikasa🥰

"Hi-

"I'm so glad you picked up, Sasha texted me that you were alive," Mikasa said. "I figured you were just lying low because of the media." She clarified.

"Media? What do you-"

Petra falling on her ass replayed in your mind. "Oh, right," You remember. Mikasa sighs. "You forgot, didn't you? I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said anything."

"It's fine, I'm glad you said something before somebody else did." You assured her. You placed your shoe download and put your dress on a hanger.

Levi was standing in the same spot from before when you exit your closet."I'm glad you're ok, but what about the grinch?" She asked. You nearly shrieked when you saw him.

"Y/n? Are you ok?"Mikasa asked.

"Yeah, you good?" Levi followed. You scowl at him.

"Yeah, I'm fine I just got scared." You explain. Levi looks a little amused. "And he's fine."

"He's fine? Then tell his short ass, to answer his phone," She scowled. "Hange has been trying to reach him too."

"Why the fuck would I want to talk to you?" Levi retorted. "Or four eyes?"

"Who asked what you want?" Mikasa snapped. "Y/n has been the topic of every gossip channel  since the party, petra's been messing things up, and have you checked what some of your business partners have been up to?"

You didn't have to relay what she had said. Mikasa was practically yelling through the phone.

Gossip channels? You think. "Business? Does she mean Zeke?

"The least you could've done is told me you were ok." She scolded. Levi pushed his weight off the door frame. You didn't know what to say to that.

"You aren't my fucking parole officer, I don't have to answer you, or Kenny or anyone."He snarled. "Get that through your thick ass head."
Levi walks away from your room.

Mikasa'sighs. "What the fuck is wrong with him?

, I'm glad you're ok y/n."She finished.

"Thanks, Mikasa," You say.

After you had finished speaking to Mikasa, you decided to look for Levi. You first went to his room, thinking that he stormed off there, but he wasn't in there.

He wasn't near the surrounding area of his room, nor was he in any other of the rooms. The sun's light reflected the glass door at the end of the hallway. How didn't you notice this before?

You entered the unfamiliar room, immediately realizing that it was a gym. In front of you faced more glass windows. To the right of you were an elliptical, a treadmill, and stairs.

On the other side of the room, weights align the wall along with a punching bag. The whole setup was organized, clean, and faced beautiful scenery.

He isn't here...

You leave the gym and walk to the end of the hall, near Levi's room. You knock one more time but get no response.

Well, I haven't checked everywhere. You say

Who the hell does that brat think she is? I thought.

I gripped the plate with more force.

She doesn't know...

No one knows.

Except for Y/n.

What the fuck is wr-

"Levi," Y/n called. My eyes darted to her concerned face. What was wrong with her?
I watched as her hand left her side and touched the plate I was washing.

It was broken into two.

When did I...

She took the halves out of my hands and set them on the counter beside her. I lowered my hands and sighed.

"Mr. Ackerman isn't here today, so the meeting has to be pushed back another day," Petra stated. "Ok thank you, bye." Petra placed the phone.

Where the fuck is he? She thought. Never mind that, I'm in charge, for now, that's all that matters.

"Jean!" Petra called somewhat harshly.

Jean quietly sighed and walked over to Petra's desk. "What is it?" He asked. She turned to him.

"Is that how you answer your boss?" She questioned. Jean closed his fist.

"Sorry, Petra," He gritted out. Petra eyed him as if he had insulted her. "It's Mrs. Ral." She corrected. Petra passed Jean a stack of papers and resumed lounging.

Jean eyed the redhead, then the papers with confusion. "Is there a problem?" She asked, unbothered by his demeanor.

"What am I supposed to do with these?" He asked. "These look like they need signatures-"

"Figure it out. " She waved off.

Jean clenched his fist tighter no longer wanting to hold back."You know-

"Hey, Jean! Lemme take those papers from you, thank you," Connie interjected, grabbing the papers out of Jean's hands. Connie gave him a look signaling for him not to start anything.

Jean sucked his teeth and walked away with Connie.

Since Levi wasn't there, Petra assumed Levi's position as the chief executive or owner of the company.

Until he returns Petra was the boss.

Connie sits down in his chair and places the papers on his desk next to him. Marco looked at both males curiously. "What's up with you?"

"What else," Connie answered.

"Aren't you tired of her power trip?" Jean asked.

"Yeah well, hopefully, Ackerman comes back soon," Jean mumbled. Marco nodded in agreement.

"Sasha's not here again?" Connie asked.

"I guess not, but who would blame her," Jean said. "I wouldn't want to be here any more than I have to, or at all."

Petra walked out into the area where the interns were.

I think you can tell this was slightly rushed. Sorry.

I'm so happy! Thank you, honestly. I know I have an irregular upload schedule and I'm not the most articulate writer but thank you all for reading. ❤️
