A/N: ayyo ladies and gentlemen!!

some info in the note at the bottom

~~~~~
Jungkook ran a hand through his hair as stepped into the elevator of the Jeon Enterprises office building. Walking through the doorway, he nodded at the receptionist at the front desk.
Rushing, he walked into an empty elevator. It was the middle of the day so most people were at there respective desks.
Jungkook was going to stay here for only a short while. He was on a holiday after all. And a well deserved one too.
For months before the wedding Jungkook had been working his ass of to make sure that the mega deal with the Kim Industries went of smoothly.
And it had paid off too. The deal was benefiting both the companies if Kim Namjoon's email was to be taken accurate.
Yes, Kim Namjoon had taken over the Kim Industries after Mr Kim's death.
Even though Taehyung had a degree in business management, he wasn't going to inherit the company.
Namjoon was much more worthy and it was something he had worked his entire life for.
And Taehyung did not resent his hyung for that.
One reason being that he personally never enjoyed business. And now that he was married to Jungkook and was not bound by his father's rules. he had more liberty to do what he wanted.
That was something the two still hadn't discussed.
But the second and more important reason was that Taehyung loved his hyung so much that nothing could make him resent him.
From the stories Jungkook had heard from Taehyung, Kim Namjoon and Seokjin hyung were more of Tae's parents than his real ones.
So no, Taehyung never resented either of them.
Jungkook opened his phone to text Tae telling him he had reached and that he wouldn't take too long to reach home hopefully.
After the meeting with his father, he would drop in his office to pick some documents that he had left there.
So it shouldn't take too much time and Jungkook would be home soon and he could enjoy sometime with Jimin and his baby, Tae.
Yes Jungkook was the epitome of whipped boy culture.
Pressing the button to take him to the top floor of the sky scraper, he checked his watch.
He was ten minutes early.
That's good.
His father appreciated punctuality a lot so he would probably leave him off early.
Humming the song that Taehyung had been singing in the shower for the last few days, Jungkook put the phone in his pocket as he smiled at Taehyung's reply.
(A smile with a i miss you so come back soon)
He had left Taehyung and Jimin after introducing them to each other.
And if his judgement wasn't wrong, the two of them had hit off instantly as if they had some instant connection.
At least that's what the boxy grin on Tae's face had looked like.
Jungkook was so glad that he now got to see that angelic boxy smile on a daily basis now.
He was truly blessed after all.
That smile and those doe like eyes did funny funny things to his heart.
The first time that happened he thought he was having an organ failure or something and that he had some terminal disease and that he had to be hospitalized immediately.
Yes, unfortunately Jungkook was an over thinker.
(like me bitches)
Smiling at the memory of Taehyung's wide boxy smile, he stepped out of the elevator as it pinged, announcing his arrival on to the topmost floor.
Straightening his tie and pushing back the stray strands of hair, he knocked carefully on the door.
"Come in."
Came his father's voice, heavy with command and demand for respect.
Jungkook pushed the heavy wooden door open and walked into the room.
His father was seated in front of his large wooden desk on his majestic leather chair.
His father liked being fancy for some reason. He was wearing his deep maroon suit with a black tie, his usual work attire that screamed power to everyone in his presence.
Ancient, old and royal.
Unlike Jungkook's style.
Sleek, minimalist and stylish.
Maybe even Jungkook's father loved living up to his title of being the cold owner who likes living like a king.
But the matter of fact was that his father loved nothing more than his pyjamas and working in them cause he was a workaholic.
"Good afternoon, Father."
Jungkook greeted. His father had some rules. Not being casual and talking informally while they were in office. Jungkook was to treat his father as his boss and likewise with Mr Jeon Senior.
Mr Jeon insisted that so that none of the employees would ever think that Jungkook got preferential treatment just cause he was his son.
Even though the world thought Jungkook had gotten everything on a golden platter because he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, that was untrue.
Jungkook had worked his way up, day and night, to get the position of CEO.
But the world can go fuck themselves because their opinion didn't matter right?
"Afternoon son. Please take a seat."
He said, gesturing to the seat in front of him.
Nodding his head, Jungkook walked forward and elegantly sat himself down on to the chair.
"Is everything all right Father?"
Jungkook asked cautiously. His father's grave and  pensive expression was making him anxious.
"How have you been?"
Mr Jeon asked, completely avoiding Jungkook's question.
"I'm good."
Jungkook said, before gulping, preparing himself for the worst case.
"How has Taehyung been?"
Mr Jeon said pensively, looking straight into Jungkook's eyes.
"He's been good."
Jungkook said, nervously having no idea where the conversation was going.
"So he has been coping well with Mr Kim's death?"
Jungkook nodded his head as he said,
"Dad, can you tell me what's wrong?"
Mr Jeon avoided the question once more by posing another.
He was basically repeating the phone call that had happened earlier today, as if it had never happened.
Something was wrong.
Gravely wrong.
"He's been doing okay since Mrs Kim's accusation?"
Mr Jeon asked.
"Y-yeah he has been doing ok- wait. How do you know about Mrs Kim's accusation?"
Jungkook asked, with his eyes narrowed.
There was no way his father could know this. Neither Jungkook nor Tae had told anyone and he knew for sure that Namjoon and Seokjin wouldn't tell Mr Jeon about their family issues without Tae's permission.
Then how?
Mr Jeon slowly got up and picked up a file from his desk and dropping it on Jungkook's lap.
"She made a statement to the detectives looking into Mr Kim's death."
And the world stopped moving for a minute.
Jungkook couldn't believe it.
Mrs Kim made an official statement against her son?
What kind of a horrendous woman was she?
What kind of mother reports her own son to the detectives, claiming she thinks her son murdered his own father?
"And the detectives want to question Taehyung now."
Mr Jeon continued to say.
"When?"
Jungkook asked tensed, eyes not leaving the folder on his lap, yet hands not touching it.
It was as if it was burning his skin.
Mr Jeon sighed noticing his son's tense face.
Placing a hand on his shoulder to comfort him, he said.
"They wanted to do it immediately. But fortunately I managed to pull some strings and stop them. Now it's up to us when we meet them?"
"We?"
Jungkook asked confused.
Who we?
Tae and himself, of course. But who else would vouch for them?
Mr Jeon smiled softly at his son's surprised expression as he said.
"Jungkook. Taehyung is a Jeon now. And we Jeons protect what is ours."
