A/N: ayyo ladies and gentlemen!!

this is the shitties chapter i've ever written im so sorry

Jungkook made Taehyung sit on the large island in the middle of the kitchen before he walked to the sink to wash his hands before preparing breakfast.

(hygiene is important kids)

"What do you want to eat angel?"

Jungkook asked, wiping his hands on a napkin.

Taehyung blushed at the nickname, before mumbling,

"Anything is fine."

Jungkook opened one of the cupboards, peering in, before turning to Taehyung and asking.

"Pancakes sounds good? Pancakes with mango?"

Taehyung hummed in agreement.

He absolutely loved mangoes.

He loved mangoes more than Jin hyung loved pink.

Yeah that much.

"Yeah. I love mangoes."

Jungkook hummed in appreciation as he moved to the fridge to take out some mangoes.

"Hmm."

As Jungkook rummaged in the drawer, searching for god knows what now, he said,

"Can I continue asking while I prepare the food? Or do you want to eat first and then continue?"

Might as well get done with it, Taehyung thought before nodding in his head in agreement.

He looked at Jungkook through the corner of his eyes, who was now kneeling down, head in the cupboard, busy searching for a frying pan probably.

"You can ask me now. It's not as if I'm doing anything now."

Jungkook pulled his head out of the cupboard, coming out of it with a frying pan that looked exactly like the one from Tangled, you know the one Eugene used to fight Maximus, the horse?

"Okay so, um is there a specific name you like being called when you're little?"

Taehyung's breath hitched at that question.

"Umm"

He liked being called many of the names Jungkook had called him yesterday.

Each name had been something that had helped him ground him back to earth.

But it would be so weird telling them out loud.

Like imagine him saying something along the lines of 'Oh Jungkook, I know I hated your guts till like 16 hours ago but now I want you to call me babyboy and angel.'

That would so fuchsia weird.

It would be more awkward than the time he accidentally saw Jin hyung getting ready for their honeymoon night, in black lace god knows what clothes.

No don't tell Jin hyung he saw that, he doesn't know.

And they would never be able to look into each other's eyes ever again.

Some secrets were meant to be taken to the grave.

He was pulled away from his thoughts when Jungkook suddenly spoke from front of him.

"It's okay Tae, you can tell me. Your comfort is important."

He whispered gently, standing between his legs, hands gently resting on his knees, sending tingly sparks to Taehyung's spine.

Oh yes Taehyung definitely believed in magic now.

But for now, he needed to pay attention to Jungkook's words and not the feelings.

So he played diplomatic and replied,

"Umm whatever names you called me yesterday night sounded good to me."

Jungkook hummed in agreement, tracing circles with his fingers which were splayed over Taehyung's knee, before saying,

"Baby?"

Taehyung almsot choked on his spit, at the way Jungkook just casually called him baby.

He needed to restart his heart.

Right after it returned to it's normal pace, Taehyung muttered as nonchalantly as he could,

"Yeah that and the others also maybe."

Jungkook smirked slightly at how the younger tried to be all unaffected by the name and not sound shocked, but the tremor in Taehyung's voice gave it away.

So he decided to play with him a bit.

"Others?"

Jungkook asked said with an innocent smile, pretending to not know what Taehyung was referring too.

Taehyung gulped softly, knowing he had no way out of this. He had just dug his own grave.

Looking down, playing with his fingers, something he did whenever he was nervous, he mumbled.

"B-baby, a-angel and all."

Jungkook almost cooed at the younger's shyness.

But then he decided to tease him a bit more.

Coyly he whispered into Taehyung's ears,

"Oh those. Don't be shy honey."

Taehyung blushed hard that, his breath hitching audibly,

Jungkook smirked at that, enjoying the effect he had on the younger, the red flush that had covered his cheeks and ears.

"You like honey too?"

He whispered again into the younger's ears, his hands around the Taehyung's body now, wrapping around his waist.

"Yeah"

Taehyung mumbled, not trusting his voice to not to tremble i he said anything more.

Being so close in Jungkook's proximity, and the nicknames were doing funny things to his heart and he didn't know what to with that.

So he just ducked his head further, hiding his blush.

Jungkook chuckled softly at Taehyung's reaction.

Hooking a finger under Taehyung's chin, he made the younger look at him in his eyes.

"Such a cutie. I'll be calling you all the sweet sugary names I know."

Jungkook whispered, his eyes boring into the younger's.

"O-okay"

Taehyung stuttered, mind freezing not knowing how to react.

Abruptly Jungkook stepped back, and walking to the sink to wash the mangoes, as he said loudly.

"Next question?"

Taehyung nodded, still jittery from the little moment that had just happened, not knowing for sure whether to be thankful that Jungkook had stepped away, or to regret it.

"Is there a specific name you want to call me?"

Jungkook asked softly, knowing that this might be a difficult question for him.

Taehyung bit his lower lip at that question.

He really wanted to call Jungkook dada in littlespace. That was a name he always loved whenever he was little.

He'd always imagine that if he ever got a caregiver, he'd call them dada.

But there was no way he would ever tell Jungkook that.

Not even over his dead body.

"Umm. I think TaeTae likes calling you Kookie for now?"

Jungkook nods approvingly, not choosing to tease him this time.

He doesn't want to scare the younger off.

"That sounds cool."

Taehyung hummed to that, swinging his legs, kicking his feet against the cupboard again.

"When you're crying or you are upset, what calms you down?"

Jungkook asked.

"I don't know exactly cause I've never had anyone with me when I slip. But when I'm not in my headspace, usually cuddles, hugs and Ben and Jerry's Cookie dough ice cream."

Taehyung said, thinking about all the recent events.

Yesterday hugging Jungkook and cuddling to his side had helped him calm down and fall asleep.

Taehyung ducked his head again, not wanting Jungkook to see the blush rising o to his cheeks again.

"That sounds pretty feasible. And judging from yesterday night, cuddling and hugs does calm you down even when you are little."

Jungkook nodded in approval, thinking of the events of the previous night.

"Oh."

After a minute of comfortable silence, Taehyung mumbled.

"I'm sorry."

Jungkook looked up from mixing the batter to look at Taehyung with confusion.

"Sorry for what?"

Taehyung glanced up at the older before looking away and whispering.

"That you had to see all that?"

Jungkook frowns at that, walking towards the younger.

"Hey, none of it was your fault, so please don't apologize okay?"

Taehyung sighed, shaking his head.

"You probably think I'm weird right?"

Jungkook looked at him confused as he took both of Taehyung's hands in his own.

Didn't he already tell Taehyung that he didn't find him being a little?

So softly he asked.

"I thought we were already spoke about this Tae?"

Taehyung shook his head at that.

"No not about being little."

Confused Jungkook asked,

"Then?"

Sighing deeply, Taehyung looked into Jungkook's eyes, as he said,

"How I'm not mourning my father?"

Jungkook's eyes widened in realization.

"Oh that."

Taehyung nodded at that.

"No I'm not."

Jungkook said honestly.

Judging from the way the man had acted around Taehyung, it was quite evident that neither of them had any attachment with each other.

So it was quite normal that Taehyung wasn't upset about his death much.

Through yesterday night's break down, Taehyung had mourned his father.

But he didn't have a dad to mourn and that's what made the difference.

"Why?"

Taehyung asked confused.

"Cause I kind of gathered what kind of person he is."

"Oh."

Taehyung thought.

So even he realized what a shooky person father was.

"I noticed everything Tae, it's only natural that you don't have any attachments to him. And you mourned the death of your father already yesterday. You just aren't mourning your dad."

Jungkook said clearly, anger evident in his voice.

Taehyung felt his heart skip a beat at that.

Jungkook had made him feel so much better by that simple sentence.

He felt so so bad for being a rude jerk to Jungkook when they met.

"Thank you for understanding Jungkook. I'm sorry for being impossibly rude and mean to you so far."

Taehyung said honestly.

"It's okay bub, I don't blame you. I was confused and hurt initially but now, I understand what you did and I would have done the same in your place honestly."

Jungkook smiled softly as he spoke.

Ruffling his hair he placed a kiss on his forehead.

(forehead kisses are the best.)

"Thank you for everything."

Taehyung mumbled, not knowing what he had done to deserve such a sweet and understanding husband.

"Don't thank me. I'm doing this because I want to okay?"

Jungkook said, his forehead touching Taehyung's as he spoke, hands caressing Taehyung's sides.

Taehyung smiled softly, looking at Jungkook as he said.

"Yeah okay."

Jungkook pulled back as he asked.

"Breakfast is ready. Want to eat here or dining room?"

Taehyung shrugged his shoulders and them mumbled.

"Dining room."
