A/N: ayyo ladies and gentlemen!!

part 2 of the previous chapter.

there's a part three lmao

"Only for a week?"

Jungkook nodded and said

"We'll see where we are then and make a decision accordingly after that."

That actually did sound quite fair, even to Taehyung who usually liked being unreasonable.

So he decided to agree with the deal Jungkook offered.

"Uhhh, that sounds okay with me, I guess."

Jungkook heaved a sigh of relief.

Finally some progress.

"That's good to know."

Taehyung nodded and then asked hesitantly.

"Sooo you probably have questions?"

Jungkook nodded, humming in agreement.

"Um yeah, if I want to be able to take care of you without hurting you or me, I need to know a few things. If that's okay with you. You don't have to tell me anything you don't want to."

Taehyung nodded in agreement, glad that Jungkook was giving him a choice about this. At least he wasn't forcing him spill all his secrets immediately.

But he owed Jungkook answers.

He hid something so important from Jungkook. Even though he didn't have any other choice, he felt very guilty for doing that.

So hanging his head even lower, shoulders hunched, trying to hide himself, he said

"No it makes sense, I guess. And you do have complete rights to know whatever you want considering I hid this from you and forced it on you."

Jungkook's heart clenched looking at Taehyung's defeated, guilty look.

So he pulled one arm free from around Taehyung's waist, softly holding Taehyung's chin in it, pulling it up, making him look up into his eyes. Softly he spoke,

"Hey hey, Tae. Don't blame yourself for this. It's no one's fault here okay?"

Taehyung shook his head, wiping away a tear that had escaped from his eyes.

"I'm sorry I just feel guilty. Anyways ask."

Jungkook nodded, not knowing where to start from.

So he decided to just so ahead and ask whatever question popped into his head.

"Okay so um, how old are you exactly when you slip into your headspace?"

Taehyung paused for a second, collecting his thoughts before saying.

"Usually between two to four. But mostly towards 2. But sometimes if there's a really loud sound or something scares me, I regress even more, into baby space."

Jungkook nodded in acknowledgement, saying

"Like yesterday while we were in a car?"

"Yeah I guess so, but I don't remember much of the ride, I think I fell unconscious for a while or something."

Taehyung said shrugging his shoulders.

"Oh okay. Are there any specific things that scare you?"

This was an important question Jungkook thought.

He needed to know Taehyung's triggers so that they could avoid them if that was possible or at least make sure Taehyung was in a safe area in case anything happened.

Taehyung thought for a minute before saying,

"Umm yeah there are a few. I hate loud sounds. If I'm already little and there's a loud sound, I go into babyspace. It's happened thrice before, and each experience was terrible."

Jungkook was curious about baby space. He had read quite a bit about little space but he didn't know much about baby space.

And it didn't seem as if Taehyung had much experience either and nor did he seem to fond of slipping so far.

"Why was it terrible?"

Taehyung sighed, running a hand through his hair in frustration. (trsufated)

"It's horrifying. I was alone and crying non stop and I didn't understand what was happening. And then I got hungry and I was too little to even take the bottle of milk from the table, I ended up crying for hours before I finally fell asleep because of exhaustion and when I woke up I was normal."

Jungkook's heart clenched at that. He could only imagine how Taehyung would have felt in that situation.

Alone scared and no one to even be there for for him and look after him.

Jungkook swore he would try his best to make sure nothing like this ever happened again.

"You don't need to worry about slipping into baby space now. I'll be there to make sure you're okay."

Taehyung sighed at that.

He felt he was throwing his burden on Jungkook and he was just taking all of it out of pity.

Taehyung needed to remind him that he also had a choice of having nothing to do with this also.

So he hesitantly said,

"You don't need to you know? Like even though we're married now and you're my uh husband now, you don't need to do this."

Jungkook sighed again.

Taehyung really needed to trust Jungkook for just this once and let him prove himself to him.

He understood where Taehyung's insecurity came from, he had seen in first hand.

Having parents who never cared for you or bothered with your existence, did make it seem that they were unlovable and just a burden, but that wasn't true.

Taehyung was quite lovable despite everything, and Jungkook just wanted to prove that to him.

"But I want to okay? I want to give us a chance and this is an integral part of you, making it an important thing of our potential relationship."

Taehyung nodded unsure, not knowing what else to say.

He really didn't expect any of this happening. The best case scenario he imagined had been Jungkook not minding it and letting him deal with this on his own.

He never expected Jungkook wanting him to be his caregiver voluntarily.

"Okay, if you says so."

Jungkook heaved a sigh of relief when Taehyung finally gave in.

Finally there was some progress.

But before he fully celebrated his victory, mentally, he needed to make sure that Taehyung also wanted this.

He didn't want Taehyung agreeing to this under pressure, just like he had to agree to this wedding.

He wanted Taehyung to do this because he wanted Jungkook to do it, not because he was feeling forced.

"Do you not want this? Are you uncomfortable?"

Taehyung shook his head. Shrugging his shoulders he mumbled,

"No it's not like that. Little TaeTae absolutely loves his Kookie but I just don't want to be a bother."

Jungkook smiled softly at that.

Little TaeTae calling him Kookie was the most adorable thing he had heard the entire week.

No entire month.

No entire year.

No his entire fucking life.

Damn he really needed to learn to make him mind up.

Gently pulling Taehyung closer to him, Jungkook smiled brightly at Taehyung, flashing his bunny smile before saying.

"And I love little TaeTae too and I'm pretty sure I like you too. So I want to do this."

Taehyung looked up softly, looking at Jungkook with surprise.

Did he even hear right?

Did Jeon Jungkook just say that he likes him?

The most eligible bachelor of the country?

Oh wait.

He's no longer eligible nor is he a bachelor.

Cause he's married now.

To him.

So point defeated.

Taehyung just got defeated by himself.

But then if he heard right, then everything else was irrelevant.

Cause Jeon fuchsia Jungkook liked Kim Taehyung was the best news ever!

Only if he heard it right though.

"You like me?"

Jungkook looked shyly at Taehyung, one hand awkwardly scratching behind his ear.

"Yeah. I mean you're cute and sweet. You look really beautiful too. But then you hate me so I don't know."

Taehyung felt guilt clench his heart. He never really hated Jungkook.

He just tried to save himself from the hurt but the keyword was trying.

He never succeeded.

Jungkook was too sweet to be hated.

If you ignore the time he called him a brat. So Taehyung decided on being honest with him.

Go big or go home right?

"No no. I never actually hated you. I was just scared you'd hate me that's why I said I hated you."

Jungkook hummed in agreement, then looked up at Taehyung hopefully.

"I don't hate you, so does that mean you don't hate me either?"

Taehyung smiled softly at Jungkook as he leaned into the olders embrace, resting his head on Jungkook's shoulder.

"Yeah. I don't need to pretend to hate you anymore."

Jungkook sighed in relief as he softly nuzzled his nose into Taehyung's chestnut brown hair, inhaling his lemony scent.

"Thank God. That's relieving to know Taehyung."

Taehyung smiled softly, before he softly mumbled,

"I-I actually l-like y-you t-too."

Jungkook pulled back from Taehyung's hair to look at his face, to check if what he had just heard was correct.

Taehyung blushed as he ducked his head, hiding it in Jungkook's shoulder.

Jungkook squeaked, to his embarrassment,

"Seriously?"

Taehyung just nodded his head in embarrassment, not daring to look up into Jungkook's eyes.

Jungkook cooed at the younger's reaction, pulling him closer, cuddling him.

"Oh Taehyung."

After a while of hugging and cuddling with Taehyung sprawled over Jungkook and Jungkook's arms splayed over Taehyung's body, holding him close, Taehyung peeked up, asking the older softly,

"Do you have more questions?"

Jungkook pulled back a little, looking into Taehyung's eyes softly, a heavy weight lifted of his chest.

Softly he murmured, not wanting to moment to disappear.

"Yeah a few more."

Taehyung nodded to that, looking at him expectantly, waiting for the next question.

Just before Jungkook opened his mouth to ask him, Taehyung's stomach rumbled softly.

(Tae's cute stomach>>>>Tae's abs)

Taehyung looked away embarrassed, mentally cursing at his stomach's inconvenient timings, but also thanking the gods that it was only his stomach rumbling and no anything worse.

Like farting.

That would be just weird.

Considering he was sitting on Jungkook's lap.

Wait what?

He was sitting on Jungkook's lap?

On those thick thighs?

How was he still breathing?

Before his brain could form a coherent thought after that realization, Jungkook spoke up, giggling.

"Let's get you breakfast before I continue with my questions."

And he got up, Taehyung still in his arms and walked down into the kitchen, Taehyung still dumb struck by the fact that he was sitting on Jungkook's thick thighs and now those muscular arms were effortlessly carrying him down to the kitchen as if he weighed absolutely nothing.
