Author's POV: 

"What's wrong with you both?" Jin asked seeing you and Taehyung staring at each other smirking as you both coughed backing away.
"Nothing." Taehyung said as you nodded focusing on your work. 

"Let me help you now." Jin said coming forward but Taehyung spoke, "I already helped her." He said as Jin looked at him with an impressed face before nodding. 
"Then I'll go. You both carry on." He said leaving as you looked back at him.
"SO we are dating." You said as he looked at you blankly while you replied, "Boyfriends aren't SO dry with their gir-" You were talking when he cut you off.

"I am your husband, and who said I am dry? Just wait and see." He whispered near your ear getting up leaving the room leaving you dumbfounded.
"I wanted to play in the field but looks like.... the ace is someone else." You mumbled looking away while your heart was racing.

----Time skip

"Ahh! Finally rest!" You said sitting on the bed when suddenly someone opened the door. You peeked a little to see Taehyung.
"Hello!" You greeted him as he sat on the bed before saying, "Hi." He said as you looked at him pretty shocked because he definitely isn't the type to respond back.
"I should ask that to him." You said to yourself giggling before coughing. You kept your phone down looking at him.

"I have a question." You asked as he looked at you confused. You giggled a little before asking him the question, "Is your mom practice?" You asked as he looked at you not getting what you meant. 
"Because.... practice makes perfect!" You said bursting into giggles as he let out a little chuckle making you a little surprised since you were not used to his behaviour.

"Shouldn't I be saying that to you?" He asked as you looked at him baffled, your heart beating unusually as a tint of crimson shade crept up to your cheeks. 
"Does your heart flutter?" He asked as you blinked looking away. "Well.. too bad! You were the one who said we are dating." He said smiling secretly which went unnoticed by you.

"Are you doing this intentionally?" You asked as he looked at you confused.
"No. Like.. we were talking about dating but.. is that the reason you're suddenly being so different? Because you want to win?" You asked as he looked at you before coming near you as he said, "No. I am just not holding myself in anymore." He said as you fake coughed looking away.

"He is cool.." You mumbled seeing him go to the washroom. 
"Why did he pretend so hard if he was gonna tell me he likes me anyway?" You asked yourself before giggling. 

"But isn't his change too drastic? Is he pretending? Should I even trust him... I like him too though... Ugh! I don't have to think about those. Let's go with the flow~" You said before plopping on the bed staring at the ceiling. You heard a sound from the bathroom remembering he is still in here making you giggle. 

Taehyung's POV: 

I washed my face before looking down in deep thought. Why did I agree with her? I know for a fact I have feelings for her. But I am not sure about how deep they are. 

"Did I do the right thing? Should I just keep pretending to be cold? Or should I be just.. warm to her?" I asked myself before shaking my head.
"I'll go crazy if this continues.." I mumbled before letting out a small smile. I really feel happy today. 

------At the Palace Hall  || Author's POV:

"So this is where the party will take place." The Queen said while you were busy playing with your hair. You looked up before coughing as you nodding without knowing what was going on.
"This is the party hall, she said." Jungkook whispered from the corner making you giggle as you nodded thanking him. 

Taehyung on the other hand stared at you both heaving out an annoyed breath. 
"Jin? What's wrong?" Queen Mother asked seeing Jin zoned out. Jin coughed before saying, "Ah.. n-nothing." He said as you all looked at him with mischievous eyes. 
"Hyung fell in love with a girl he saw on the street and is now thinking about her." Jungkook said as the Queen chuckled.

"Not from the streets! She looked like she was from a prestigious family!" He said as everyone ignored him intentionally teasing him.
"He really seems to be in love." You said to Taehyung who was behind you.
"Not more than you." Taehyung said as you giggled before saying, "You like me back too!" You said as he ignored you intentionally making you huff. 

"Okay okay! Enough. Let's go get dinner." Queen said seeing everyone whispering to each other.
"You all will make me the 6th wheel soon!" Jin said as everyone chuckled going out of the Hall. 

----During Dinner

"Yumm!" You savoured your food as if it was the last time you were eating before grabbing another chicken leg. You could feel a stare on you as you looked beside to see Taehyung looking at you. 
You smiled at him cutely forwarding him the chicken leg in your hand.
"Do you want it?" You asked as he shook his head before saying, "You eat." He said as you nodded eating.

"What's wrong with you both?" Jungkook asked seeing you both acting differently.
"I think they are acting too different. Aren't they?" Mina asked as Jin gulped his water fast before saying, "I have a doubt something's going on between them." Jin said as you looked at them blankly before saying, "We are just seeing who can date better." You said as the Queen looked at you and the Queen Mother chuckled. 

"What does that mean?" Mina asked as you replied, "He said he gets jealous when I-" You were talking but got cut off by Taehyung wiping your lips with his hands to shut you up. 
You looked at him with big eyes as he said, "Y-Your lips are dirty." He said mentally asking you to shut up not knowing what his action caused in your heart. 

You wiped your lips again looking down blushing as everyone at the table eating enjoyed the show. 

----In your bedroom 

"Ah! My back hurts!" You said before holding your back sitting on the bed in an attempt to sleep on the bed without Taehyung nagging you. Though you had a feeling he would let you sleep on the bed, but the chances were lowered every time you remembered you drooled on him in your sleep.

"Just sleep on the bed without the pretentious acts." He said sitting beside you as you looked at him surprised.
"How did you know?" You asked as he replied, "You're too obvious." He said as you coughed.

"I have a question." You said as he looked at you holding in his breath before saying, "Why do you always have a question?" He asked as you replied, "Because I am curious about you." You said straightforwardly as he choked on his breath.

"Why are you so-" He couldn't complete as you hissed at him.
"Yeah yeah! I am this, I am that! Now answer me." You said as he sighed nodding.

"My question is... Do you really like me?" You asked as he replied, "Maybe.." He said lowly looking at his phone. You giggled before asking, "Then, why don't you say it?" You asked as he looked at you awkwardly before saying, "You j-just need to know." He said looking away as you exhale deeply. 

"Okay! Then, you don't have to say it. Just act like it." You said lying on the bed giggling as he looked at your back letting out an airy laugh which was silent. 
"She's too simple." He muttered under his breath inaudible for you to hear as he lied beside you glancing at your body turning its back at him. 

------Flashback of 10 years 

"Yah Kim Taehyung!" She called as he looked at her blankly. 
"This is for you. A bracelet." She said giggling as he sighed before saying, "I don't want it." He said as she pouted before saying, "You shouldn't say no to gifts. I made it for you." She said as he looked at it taking it. It said, TaTa. 

"Won't you thank me?" She asked with a bright smile as he replied, "You forced me to take it." He said as she rolled her eyes.
"You are so---- ugh!" She stomped her feet as he let out a laugh seeing her. Her eyes widened as she looked at him with wide eyes.
"You laughed!" She cheered as he looked away embarrassed. 

"Your laugh is so pretty!" She said as he looked down awkwardly, a tint of crimson shade adorning his cheeks as she giggled.
"Won't you ask me why it is Tata?" She asked as he looked down knowing the answer, "It is what you always call me." He said as she giggled nodding. 

"Then, do you know my name?" She asked as he looked at her with a 'what.absurd.questions.will.you.ask.me?' face. He replied, "No I don't." He said making her pout.

"Then I'll go home." She said sadly pouting as she turned back walking on the other side as she heard a voice.
"See you. Jeon pabo." He said as she turned back with big eyes. Her face turned from a sulking one to a bright happy one. She waved at him running to the other side as he smiled at her back. 

"What was her name again..? Y-Y/P? Y/M?" He asked himself before sighing.
